Some time ago, I remember a Dis Dad posting a story regarding rumors of a revamped Fantasyland. Well I don't know if you guys have heard yet or not, but Disney officially announced the expansion at their "D23" expo this weekend. It looks like a SUBSTANTIAL overhaul and major expansion. However, I'm not sure how I "feel" about it, know what I mean? What do you guys think?

I think it looks way cool...I'm really not a fan of Toontown at all, so I'm not sorry to see it go. This new plan seems to look more "magical" than what's there now. Can't wait to see it in person!

Now if only they'd add Nate's "It's a Small War" ride...

I am with ya on the "feel" about it issue. I mean Walt said that the parks were never done and that they would update and change them but an addition/update/change of this magnatude I am not so sure about. One thing I am certain about, Toon Town gone is a good thing in my book. Only reason we go there is to the mouse. They can keep the rest of it.

What's not to like? I get to take my daughters and have their pictures made with beautiful princesses. Of course, since we dads want to participate as much as possible in our daughters lives, I will be forced to stand with the princess and have several (many) pictures made as well. I think they just added to my fantasyland.

On that note, my two DDs say that my favorite princess is Jasmine, since seem to have a lot of her, I mean their picture with Jasmine. Of course, it is a close up with my girls' head at chest high level.

I usually go for the float and mix it up good...for a super Pineapple smoothie...

Try the Whip 1st...then have a Float to chase it.

i only have one of me and cinder. i seem to end up with chip and dale!!! dd videoed dale putting whip cream on my nose and sticking a cherry on it!!! what you do for your kid!

By the way guys, I know we don't often talk about it, but I have to say I'm really impressed and proud of my wife.

She works full time at a very demanding job, all the while taking care of our 21 month old--who can be a handful. She has to be exhausted. At home, I shoulder A LOT of the parenting/cooking/cleaning duties (of course, I'm usually the CAUSE of the cleaning duties--I'm worse than the little guy sometimes). Oh, and her job is 45 minutes to an hour away from where we live...

She is really hanging in there!!!

I have already planned a spa visit for her at WDW when we go in January...she's earned it, plus I'll get some dad time with the little one!!

Just had to get that off my chest.

Oh, and I, uh, got chased by Wadi Dogs (coyotes) while jogging last night Might have to start "packing" while I'm jogging

Is it just me or is the wait for a Dole whip the slowest moving thing in the entire park? Basically you only have two things being ordered, a cone or a float so you'd think they would come up with a way to speed up the process! I think Walt planned it this way to show us all what it feels like to be 4 years old and waiting in a ride line for what seems like an eternity.

Loading up the minivan in a little over 24 hours. I loved my car but NOTHING beats having that wireless second row entertainment system so DS can watch his movies and I can listen to tunes. I have to admit that half the time I end up listening to the movie

My wife is a SAHM and sometimes I think that would be a great job, but then I realize how much work there actually is at home with the house and the kids and stuff and I figure I am much better off at work.

Even though this is a Dad's Clubs we should give some props to the ladies in our lives.

Fed, I'm sure your wife appreciates the sacrifices you make for your family and the rest of us as well.
