So fellas, a few guys have posted what they got for Christmas, how did the rest of you do?

I got a new tripod and a camera bag I have been eyeballing for the last month. Mind you I picked them out myself, but its the thought that counts.:lmao:

I got a real expensive gift, it came yesterday the Visa Bill:confused3. Inlaws got us a 32in flat sceen TV for the bedroom, I totally wasn't expecting it:woohoo:

We went light this year as well but I received a digital frame for the office so that I can bring my family to work. I also got the Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympics.

DW got the TSM game and we all love it. As others have stated not quite the same as at DHS, but still a great game.

If the the Fanatic wants the job I think he should have it, but if not I think it would be a toss up between you and Emma's Dad, (he is very good at updating lists.):thumbsup2

Just got some good news it looks like I'm going to WDW Jan 16th-20th.:cool1::cool1:

Christian no way!!! I'm there Jan 11-21. We have to meet up. :thumbsup2

Hey! Has anyone played TSM for the Wii?? How does it compare to the ride? (Besides the obvious, of course) :lmao:

I really liked it but am not crazy about the cheap 3D glasses, I really wish the would start using the same glasses as the parks and theaters. Then I could use the glasses I failed to "recycle after watching UP (sorry if I paid $3 for them, I'm taking them home!).

I've read a lot of reviews for TSM that said it was way too simple and they were done with it after 3 hours (I think these are the same people who say they went to WDW 10 years ago so they don't need to go back) so you might want to check Craigslist for people looking to sell or trade it away.

The game itself is pretty cool and brings a lot of the elements of the HWS version so it not only is fun to play but subliminally gets the DW itching to go back and play the real thing! I can't wait till HWS opens another BIG attraction so TSM gets the same way as Buzz over at MK, busy during the day but you can walk on at night.

The helicopter sounds pretty cool. My kids got the air hogs that dual last year. They never really got off the ground and when they did they were to difficult for them to fly.

My toy was simple, I go a handle bar mount Mountain Bike video recorder. So now I can film all my biking buddies eating the rocks a head of me. I look forward to re-living some off that stuff.....

Wisconsin already beat Miami a few nights ago. Are there other bowl games?? :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Happy New Year guys! May 2010 be blessed for you all. Looking forward to more great discussion in the year ahead.

I look forward to it! We haven't booked yet we will be sitting down with my in-laws on sunday and making reservations. I will have a little better of an idea of their plans so I can make mine. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

DW gave me a pair of Binoculars to replace my broken ones (don't ask...) and a toy helicopter (yes, I'm still a big kid). I think that I've crashed into everything in the Living room at this point.

Biggest item that I received was a Belgian waffle maker. I think that the kids were as excited as I was. Anybody got a good recipe? So far we have tried the regular boxed pancake mix and we also tried yellow cake batter. MMmmm.

Yep, and like Stopher said, several games from the ride are there, as well as some new ones. My only problem is having to wait my turn while the DW and DDs are playing. I really wish that they would have made it where all four players could be playing at the same time. I also want to be pulling the string on the bubble gun instead of pushing the Wii remote buttons, but I guess that just gives me reason to continue riding TSM at DHS.

Speaking of helicopters... I got an Air Hog last year for Christmas. Here is a video of me teasing the cats with the thing... I still wasn't that good with it at the time, but still fun:

stopher - glad to see you can make the Dec trip:woohoo:

I'm still working on the DW about a possible Dec '10 trip :cool2: Hehe...

Thanks for your review :thumbsup2 Thanks for the Craigslist idea... none in our local Craigslist, but worth a shot.

That sounds like a cool toy... does it have image stabilizer for all those bumps?

For some reason I cant put this link in, sorry guys the website is called eyes on ears

Children are in bed, watching NBA (76ers and Clippers), drinking, and seeing what else is out there. I remember being out there - and it was fun - but I could not trade it in. Happy New Year everyone.

Same here... child in bed... having a beer... enjoying the final moments of 2009. I just don't have the desire to go out and mingle with the crowds on this night. It's been like this since DD's birthday is today :cool1:

HAPPY NEW YEAR ! Hope everyone has a safe, healthy & happy 2010!

Watching the Burn Notice marathon (love this show) and throwing back some Captain & Cokes :drinking1
