Your the only person I know that has been choosen to be That Guy, that's cool:cool1: I try everytime we visit, any idea's on how they pick it?:confused3

It was the first time we had done Monsters so I had no clue there even was a "That guy". Anyway, we walked in (near the front) and sat near the end of a row, close to the door we entered from. There was a thing in front of me that I couldn't figure out; I thought it was a lamp or something. Not all of the seats have them. It turns out it's a camera. The show starts and the next thing I know my face is on a big screen in the front of the theater; some monster is telling the audience not to go to DTD with That Guy because he stinks; and everyone is laughing! I ended up being on the wrong end of some corny jokes 4 or 5 times during the show. At the end, I was given a sticker proclaiming me as That Guy but unfortunately it fell off my shirt somewhere in the MK so I don't have it. To sum up: I have no idea why they picked me. I guess I looked like a DIS Dad! It was pretty neat! :thumbsup2

Nice cars! You should pick something up while the economy is bad, hopefully you will not have to go back, but if you do you will have something to plan out and look forward to building.

my 3 are:

My 1st car still sitting in the garage 1972 Mustang Mach 1 351CJ (Q code) with full Ram Air hookup. Bright Yellow with black striping, magmum 500 rims, frt & rear spoilers, 4bolt main , 12.5 compression, 292H crane cam with solid lifters, 850 Holley Carb.

2nd - not that fast but can hold ground 1973 Mustang convertible , stock engine 302, candy apple red with silver stripes black interior, magnum 500 rims, frt & rear spoilers.

3rd - never drove yet hopefully this year 90% done 1970 Boss 302 with 29k orig. miles hasn't been on the road since 81. Grabber blue with flat black Boss 302 striping.

Unfortunately, I'm definitely going back---but it is definitely for the last time--commitment is up!

I'm looking around, and I really want to go ahead and jump on one if I can find a good solid base. The three I've looked at have been disasters--including one the guy wanted book for even though it had a salvage title from a total wreck (and the crumple zones were damaged)...nope!

Those are REALLY nice cars.:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

The older Mustangs have much more personality in my opinion--even though I've only owned one.

I forgot - where are you staying? How long are you there? Have a great time!

It's a short trip, living only three hours way, we can afford to do a quick 4-day trip every so often. We're staying at ASM, figure rather spend the money in the park than in a room we'll never see. We arrive the 24th, cruising around the world that day with a stop at DTD and then a visit from Santa at the resort in the evening. MK on the 25th, breakfast at the castle. 26th we're going to ICE and dinner @ chef mickey's, 27th back to MK to do all the things we missed before, lunch at crystal palace and tickets for wishes dessert party. Monday the 28th we come back after breakfast at the Beach Club.

If anyone is interested in audio books, I visit a site called podiobooks.com, where amature authors write and record their work and then distribute for free (donations welcomed). Well, I just started listening to something called "Down & Out in The Magic Kingdom". A futuristic novel set inside a closed, but still functioning MK. I've only just started it, so it might be a horrible waste of time, but, if anyone wants to give it a shot, here's the link:

OK I'm jealous, That has got to be the best Christmas plans EVER!:goodvibes.
At the Christmas parade try to get up front, and hold up a sign that says The Dis Dad's Rule. We will all most likely be watching the parade Christmas morn.
Your gonna have a great time:banana::dance3::woohoo:

Actually, they tape the parade early in December. They will run the dancers/band/performers by the same spot multiple times to make sure they get all the right shot angles and have plenty of tape in case something needs to be edited out.

It's a trip born out of necessity. We always spend Christmas Eve at my sisters house, but with her being in a coma, the day promised to be pretty depressing, so we decided it was time to take the girls to Disney, and at the same time, be able to disconnect from reality for a little while. I feel kind of guilty going to Disney while my sister lies in a coma, knowing that most of my family will spend their christmas at her bed side, but I couldn't put my girls, or myself through that this year. Since our Christmas traditions are practically over, it was high time to start a new one, hopefully, depending on how this trip plays out, Disney may become our new Christmas tradition. But I sure am going to miss eating the roasted pork.

You have to do what's best for your family regardless....though it's tough sometimes...sorry to hear about your sister..
