Christopher stared at his so long he thought Santa came back and left something in it. When he pulled on the stocking the cast iron stocking holder fell off and hit him in the head twice. He has a cut in his scalp and his forehead split and has a little knot. Fortunately the cut on his forehead was very small. Had it been any larger it may have required stitches. It's also fortunate that he's very hard headed. You think I would have learned my lesson after he pulled the last hanger off and broke it.

You can save up to 3 years worth of points, or you can borrow into the next years points. For instance, if you have 200 pts and you need 250 for the resort you want, you can borrow 50 pts from next year. However when the time comes, you would then only get 150 pts that year.
Tammi - I would love to see pictures!!Tammi67 said:I used Kate's suggestion and just took the pages and a clipboard, sealed in a zippy bag. When an autograph was gotten, we would then leave that page behind. Yesterday I spent the day scrapping pictures to go along with the autograph page and put them into a book. It really looks nice.
That is so sweet!!!bengalbelle said:Actually, he took that part pretty well. When he realized there was nothing in his stocking he decided to play Santa. He filled my stocking up with his hotwheel cars and brought to me saying "look mama, Santa brought you something".![]()
tmfranlk said:Yeah, I think your family and Denise's look great. I'm torn as to whether 12 of us would be too much blue or red or whatever the color is that day. Maybe I could do a light/dark thing too. Dk blue for the guys and light blue for the girls, etc. As for the ironing I am determined! This trip has been so long in the making that I am determined that 1) it WILL happen this time and 2) I am going all out in planning.

They are pretty strict about 5 in a studio now -karebear1 said:I hope you all don't mind if I join in on your DVC discussion!
The first time we stayed at BWV we had 5 in our group. My oldest was 16 and the youngest was 13. We fit fine into a studio and the CM's are the ones who put us in there! We knew nothing about DVC- I just saw an add at the back of the old Disney Club magazine with some great prices in it for trying BWV's. I didn't even realize it was a time share! I called told them we had 5 of us and our ages and they offered us a 1 bedroom or a studio. I chose the studio because it was less expensive. We fit in there just fine. The girls slept in the other double bed and my son slept on a day bed they had in the room. Denise, your kids are still small- For now I'm sure you'd be fine to stay the same way- unless of course you want the room! Then by all means do a 1 or 2 bedroom unit. they're pure heaven!!! There is a 4 person rule in a studio now, however your kids are young and small- I'll bet they'd ok the studio if you wanted- what do you other DVC people think??
DVC is the best decision we have made for our vacationing needs! DH is not a Disney freak like I am, but he really enjoys going to the sun, and knowing where he's going when he gets there. As time goes by, we use the parks for total enjoyment- not panicked excitement! In taking advantage of belonging to DVC and having AP's, we can meander around the parks, come and go as we please and do not feel guilty about wasting our time or money on only 2 or 3 hours a day in a park if that's what we want to do- because we know we'll be back again and again! We even sleep in sometimes (8:00 am!!!) and don't feel the need to get up and grab those EMH in the am. We own at BCV's and on the 1st day I will always walk in the back door to EPCOT and over to Italy to buy a couple of Cannoli's from the take out place there. This has become a tradition for us and as we are able to take our time there now, we build more and more upon these traditions.... an early morning walk around the Boardwalk in the quiet of the day- beautiful! Oops! Don't forget to stop at the Boardwalk Bakery on the way back!!! Just having the time to take in all the beauty this place has to offer is a great thing. And we can finally do this now that we own DVC. I can't underestimate what a change there is in our vacationing now that we own there! It's so much more peaceful and restful, and we enjoy it tremendously!
Oh.... when the kids get older, you can get 2 studios and request that the rooms are next to each other- that will save you point s big time! No guarantee that they will be right next door, but they really do their best to locate them near you.

I have looked off and on for the past 6 months and can't find one. She is Abi's favorite Disney character and I want to make a shirt with her on it for Abi.
Thanks in advance!!

the other reason this will now be a problem is if you want the dining plan - you would not be able to get the dining plan for the fifth persondisneyeveryyear said:Tammi,
To clarify Tammi's point regarding savings three years points.
You may utilize up to three years' worth of points at one time. For example, year one you bank all 200 of your points into year two. You then have 400 points in year two and you can borrow all 200 points of year three into year two. Thus, in year two you will have 600 points, but there will not be any more points until year four (unless you borrow them into year three).
You can only "save" one year's points at a time.
When you book through DVC they will not allow five "names" to be on a reservation for a studio. They will only print four key-cards. The only time this may cause problems is if you intend to utilize EMH. Most people seem to indicate that they aren't looking at key-cards for a.m. EMHs, but that you must have a card for each wrist bank for p.m. EMHs. We don't tend to utilize a.m. EMHs, but if you plan to use p.m.s, you may have a problem. I haven't seen this myself, but this has been reported. This is also a hot-button topic on the DVC boards, so please be careful about posting over there. Some people can be quite rabid.
