:rotfl2: When we went back to visit last year we went to the 13 YO baseball games and one of the players had long hair down his back sticking out of his helmet. Grandma(being old fashioned and not up with the times) asked if they let girls play with the boys now. :faint: I was mortified that the parents might have heard. But what are you gonna do with the older generation, they just don't understand the new fashions and stuff. :confused3 Gosh forbid they get an earing. :scared1: She would never let that one go. Secretly, I like some of it to come from her than me. That way I'm not the uncool step-mom, I think it but let her give the lecture. :teeth:

My DB came home with an earing he was about 15 at the time and for his B'day a couple of weeks later my DS and I gave him a dress, off came the earing and he has never spoken about it again (that was probably about 22 yrs ago). :rotfl2:

That's just down the Interstate from us, let us know when you are in town visiting or if he ever needs anything to let us know - you can PM me for my info, I know what it is like to be here without knowing a soul.

No we wont be driving. I tried to go to their site to see what car repair sites they consider approvedandcould not find any.
We dont need the towing part as we have road sode assistance on our cell phones.
Not sure I would really trust them to book my trip as they almost cost Denice her trip by not sending in her money on time.
Do you know howmuch they sale park tickets for? I could not find them on their site andwe are thinking of using ticketmania withthe mousesavers newsletter discount.

My parents used the AAA to book there air and cruise for Russia a couple of months ago, they had the best rates and had a great experience using them.

If you make your ressies through AAA you get free parking at the parks and a special place for AAA people to park. This is a perk even if you don't stay on site I think. We LOVE AAA. You can get free maps, trip tiks (planned map routes- these are cool!) DISCOUNTS ON WDW TICKETS, I can't remember what the specific name of these a re, but they're books fopr each state that have hotels, their rates etc. in them. Also highlights AAA discount hotels. THESE ARE A VALUABLE RESOURCE for me. You also get free towing for a certain distance if you need it and if your car gets a flat- they'll come a fix iot for you for free! I LOVE AAA!!!

Hope that helps! ;)

We used the AAA Free Parking this trip. It was FABULOUS!!!
You drive in a nd park just past the Handicap parking. We had a bunch of small kids and could simply cross the 2 lane drive that was never busy and be on the park side of the street and stroll right up to the gates! We LOVED it!

Thank you for the offer.

Fortunately my brother lives nearby in Roswell, so he does have family nearby if needed. We may actually be coming down there sometime this year for my nephew's high school graduation. If we are coming down, I will let you know. It would be fun to meet.

I don't know if you have to actually book through them. I bought some park hoppers for our Novembert trip for some friends and AAA gave me a 2 parking passes. I'll bet you can just go in a get one IF you belong to AAA :confused3

:rotfl: Too funny. Grandma gives Jonathan a lecture all the time. Falls on deaf ears..or maybe he just can't hear with all the hair in the way!

What's everyone up to today? Since my washer is fixed, I am trying to motivate myself to do laundry.

For fun I have been sitting here trying to plan out my Dec. WDW trip...am I crazy of what?!

No your not crazy.
I find the longer I have to plan the more fun we have.
The last trip we went on I planned for 10 months.
The planning was 1/2 the fun.
I included Ramiro in all the planning.
He helped a lot.
For 1 thing he loves to fish.
So I thought he would want to go fishing.
NO, he don't like the idea of catch & release.
He's more catch, cook, & eat.
Also he didn't want to smell like fish all day.
Also didn't want to waste time to go back & shower.
Kids :confused3
