Sorry I haven't been on much. We have lots to do here and are suffering from a stomach virus. Maybe that's what Paul has too. We are referring to our "Hershey Squirts" outbreak. Good thing we have 2 bathrooms. Keeping the little guy in diapers. Hopefully life will slow down again, but who knows. I need to get my decorations down still. Really cold outside here, hopefully next weekend as temps are supposed to rise.

Just popping in to say hi!!

Took DGS age 2 (and the rest of family) to see Elmo last night. He loved it!!

Woke up this morning and said "Daddy, where Melmo show? Mommie, where Melmo show?" It was sooooo cute. :goodvibes :rose:

We were second row aisle so as the characters took to the stage, sometimes they passed us. Honker came over and rubbed his head. DGS had his hand out and some of them gave him "5" as the passed to go off stage. Telly hugged him. It was amazing. Just amazing. I was sooooo happy. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

During one number with Big Bird, he was clapping and bouncing and shaking his whole body. :jumping1:

It was an incredible night and I just couldn't wait to share it with you all, my DDA family.

I don't know if you saw it, but Kate edited the first post to put the new logo on. I love it. Thanks Kate!!!! :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Hey guys!

Just thought I'd let you know I added two more days to my TR yesterday - link in my sig.

I was meant to do some today... but I decided to see how much a 10 day November trip to the World would be... I mentioned it to DH and he says if I can sort us out a bargain we might be able to go!!!!! I'm so excited! It might not happen but I've spent hours today searching the net for some deals on hotels/car hire etc :)

I copied it onto my computer like a regular design then uploaded it to my photobucket account and attached that in my signature like posting a regular picture. Does this make sense????

I am so glad DGS enjoyed the show. Is he liking his Elmo Knows Your Name more now?

Hi all! I just finished reading 55 pages! After the power failure the other night I turned on my computer and got a bad message - try recovery disk. I don't recall a recovery disk coming with the computer. I called the help number (Toshiba) and since the computer is still under warranty (got it in April '05) they would be glad to send one to me free with a $39.95 shipping charge!!!! That's nuts! Had my daughter take the computer (it's a laptop) to Best Buy to the Geek Squad. They wanted $59 for a diagnostic, and the it would be at least another $59 just to try the recovery disk. Since I had just gotten a $600 estimate on car repairs, I didn't want to spend that either. Long story at least a little shorter, I ordered a recovery disk on ebay for a grand total of $12.98 including shipping. I'm going to try that before anything else. If that doesn't work, then I'll go back to the Geek Squad. In the meantime, I only have the computer at work (and they expect me to work there - the nerve!), and the one I'm on now, which is my older desk top that doesn't have DSL. It's in my granddaughter's room, and since she's at work today, I got caught up.

I hope that everyone who has been sick is better. Hope all the kids are better. Everyone leaving on a trip, have a great time (cruises included). I love cruising as much as I love Disney.

I have to go grocery shopping now. Hope I can get back on later. If not, I'll try to get on once in awhile at work.

What's everyone up to today? Since my washer is fixed, I am trying to motivate myself to do laundry.

For fun I have been sitting here trying to plan out my Dec. WDW trip...am I crazy of what?!

I went to Texas Road House- but I hardly ate anything I still don't feel right-brought most of my food home. I came home went for a 45 minute walk, and have since been working on setting up the Secret Scrapbook Sister Swap on the Disboards.
