I really don't think that your kids want to know that they were bought at a garage sale or handed down from someone else.

and yes I will be happy to share my list, ummmm....I have to try and remember it when i go into my office on Sunday to finish straightening my desk for my vacation which officially started 5 hours ago!!!

The first two are:

The World is Flat (sounded like a snoozer to me)
Arthur & George (fictional account of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and friend wrongly accused of murder)
in there we also have
Marley and Me, The Biology of Beliefs and a Piccoult book.

I will try and remember to get them on Sunday for you!!

I'm back from my camping trip. It was fun, but not at all relaxing. They offer so many activities from sun up to sun down that we were constantly on the run. The boys really seemed to enjoy themselves, but by Friday they were ready to just hang out, no events. It was really nice to come home today. Chris says that we are never doing split vacations again as we both really missed each other and the kids while we were home alone. He's been chasing me where ever I go tonight and says that he's not letting me out of his sight again . I'll post details later.

The big question on my mind is............Any new babies yet? I have no idea how many pages I need to read, but I just gotta know.

Amy is scheduled for her induction on Friday - we had her DDA baby shower this week - there are pictures of it somewhere on here!

No new babies that I've heard of, other than Kate becoming an aunt again. Amy is supposed to be induced on the 7th.

Rees' PM got the cutest little keychain from Glynis and an adorable tie dye shirt from Theresa. I sure hope it's Theresa. If not, I apologize. John threw the packaging and note away before I got home. He said it mentioned "girls" on the note. Rees loves it all! PM is styling at our house now.

You should be able to make that into a Guest of Honor badge. I'm glad that Rees likes it.

Make a pan of your brownies and take them over. Welcome them to the neighborhood. That's what I have to do. I'm shy with strangers, too, and this way I feel like I'm needed. Odd I know, but that's me!

What about the boys? I probably shouldn't have asked that question because I don't want to get into a political debate over whether boys should be allowed to get their ears pierced. Chuck, his father & my father would have died if I had boys and I let them get their ears pierced. I'm glad that I didn't have to deal with that decision. Chuck was all for the girls getting purple streaks, etc. in their hair while they were young and before they had jobs. However, to him, ear piercing is permanent.

No ear piercing for Jacob. He thinks it's Yucky!!! Of course, he's only 6, but he is so not into anything girly. He won't play with the girls unless they are playing some horrible blood and guts game. He loves cowboys and Indians, cops and robbers, Star Wars, etc.

I don't think I'll have to worry about him wanting holes in his ears!

I can remember when DH got his ear pierced. It was about seven years ago and he wore the earring for quite a while then he stopped. At the time he just wanted to rattle his mother's chain.

Hello DDA! Hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday-
I lounged in the pool and didnt leave the house, it was actually really nice.

I wanted to say thanks to you all-I know the last couple of months, theres been al ot of things coming up in my family, especially now with the accident last weekend, and i have come here venting alot. I know it gets old to hear the same things, but sometimes i feel like i have nowhere to turn.. Its hard sometimes--im 21 years old ,but dont go out and party and drink like most of the people around here...i guess im just in a blah mood- guess its just been a rough couple of months and you guys have really helped me get through them--Thank you!!

You guys are all such enablers! I almost got in the car and drove to Appleton this morning - 2 hours one way. I heard that the Disney store has a great 50% off sale all their red tagged sale items. Then I was going to build a bear to check out what I could get Mickey & Minnie. Christy is going to pick up the BABW Mickey & Minnie for me.

There was a reason I didn't tell the group this when I got my BAB email yesterday morning. I didn't want to be called an enabler!!!!
