Good morning everyone! It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day here! Im planning on gonig out by the pool for a bit and then just laying around watching movies..looking forward to a relaxing day! hope you all enjoy!

Friday morning MTM was really excited to get dressed because he was going to wear his new tye dye shirt and socks. We had to get up early since I had to get the car in for inspection (yes I am always a Last Minute Nellie)
Here he is the styling guy

Here is another picture from his picture taking trip from last Sunday.

When MTM arrived last week, he was checking the office and he spied the medals we had from the Senior Games. Well, he decided since he is a Senior that he should be 'King of the Senior Games'

I must have missed something about the pictures with characters, is this something for all of us to join in on?

We haven't 100% determined where yet but the plan is to have one place in DL & WDW that everyone gets their picture with knowing that others were in that exact spot on their trip. Then we will share them with the rest of the DDA upon our return. For myself, I want to print them out and put them in my DDA friends scrapbook. I like the June's Goofy statue in WDW.

Then Kate had another great idea that we all get our picture with a character. Clare suggested it be our favorite character. As we share them, Kate will create a collage with all of them together.

We're getting some new neighbours in about 4 weeks. When we got back from the supermarket today the couple were at the house talking to the current owner. The guy stopped to talk to Lee as we were unloading the shopping (groceries). They seem nice - about our age I think and they also have cats. I didn't really talk as I was unloading the car... and I'm really shy around strangers... I felt bad after, hope they didn't think I was being rude... I'm just not good around new people. It would be really nice if we all got on and became friends, but I don't want to get my hopes up...

I think I need to go somewhere and take "how to make friends and not be so ridiculously shy" lessons

Rees' PM got the cutest little keychain from Glynis and an adorable tie dye shirt from Theresa. I sure hope it's Theresa. If not, I apologize. John threw the packaging and note away before I got home. He said it mentioned "girls" on the note. Rees loves it all! PM is styling at our house now.

Twas us!! It said that the Traveling Pals all got Tie Dye so we didn't want your guy to feel left out!!

Well, PM is on his way to Rees' grandparents wearing the tie dye shirt! Forgot to say the kids all made Tie Dye shirts at preschool the last week, and their shirts match now. They all three thought that was so cool. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the Mickey and Minnie are only available at Disney... but I could be VERY wrong...

I had a long week - the news about the RNR really upset me this week! It really hit home -

Aren't those tickers awesome!!!! They have a lot of cute ones!!

Sorry that you've had a long week. Remind yourself that you are finding out what is wrong with Nick so you will know what it means!!!! that you have a better holiday week-end.

I think I'm going to have to modify my signature again. I love those tickers.

They also have little Make your own Minnie's. They are adorable. Hmmm. Do I need three different size Mickey's to dress? Chuck would kill me!!!!! Though, they do have a lot of cute accessories & clothes for this size bears at the Target stores now. They used to have the mid-size range but have went to a small version.

You just have to force yourself out of your comfort zone. Inside I'm exactly the same way. I used to stand in a corner but realized that I was never going to meet anyone like that and have fun. It is very hard and even after doing this for 30 years, I still have to force myself.

Since they are going to be your neighbors, there is lots of time to get to know them. They'll realize after a very short time that it is shyness on your part and not rudeness. I hope that they become great neighbors and friends. I miss that from our younger days. We have all been so busy with our kids that my neighbors & I only get together once a year for a neighborhood party. We all have 5+ acres of land so it isn't like we are close to each other anyway.

You guys are all such enablers! I almost got in the car and drove to Appleton this morning - 2 hours one way. I heard that the Disney store has a great 50% off sale all their red tagged sale items. Then I was going to build a bear to check out what I could get Mickey & Minnie. Christy is going to pick up the BABW Mickey & Minnie for me.
