I made Christopher's square design very last minute so I didn't have time to cut all of the squares out, but I used the dark transfer paper and I think it came out OK. Here are pics.

Here's video of Johnny Depp in the new Pirates ride and then he talks about his anamatronic character. They did a great job!!

Wow!!! I've just spent 5 minutes watching him in the barrel with Johnny Dep next to it trying to decide if it's an animatronic... or a bloke in the barrel (look a like)!!
I assume that's the Disney Land ride? Wonder what they've done to the WDW one...

He's there now in the ICU. Lindsay is the only one with him, and they are scared to death. I don't know when his Dad is arriving.

Is there something I can do? I couldn't do it right away....other than praying but I can see about getting it done!!

Thanks, Theresa. Bonnie just called and said her friend lives in Denver and is on the way. I will PM you if there's anything you could do to help. I appreciate the offer tremendously. Their last name is Fletcher. He's in the ICU. Their airflighted him from the camp.

Was this your trip alone with Joe? How did you feel going all the way back there? With it just being me and Terra, I usually prefer something in the middle of the action, just because it makes me feel a little better. Plus, I KNOW that Phil worries if we are too secluded/out of sight/etc when travelling by ourselves.

Well I did only take Joe but I wasn't really alone. I had a connecting room with my friend who always goes with us, her DH and their DS(15). BUT...I did spend a fair amount of time alone with Joe as they were into things a 15 year old wanted to do and Joe was into things a 4 year old wanted to do. We were only there 3 nights and at least 1 night (maybe 2) I did return to the room alone. I always felt very safe but was careful.

I'm still back on something like 2750. I couldn't sleep last night so I was trying to catch up but then we lost electricity (for about 1 minute at that time) but the storm woke up Joe. Then we lost electricity again from about 4 am to 8 am as the storm got worse and woke up Emma then Lizzie.

Ann Marie-I was quoting your post when I first lost electricity. I'll try to go find it again. Looks like maybe Wednesday 8/23 would be a good to arrange something for MK.

I've got Monday off so maybe I can catch up here over the long weekend and with folks traveling maybe it will be quiet here.

Off to work on catching up (and uh...to actually do real work but everyone has already left....)

My mother forwards me way too many of these things! This one made me smile so I thought I'd share.

Tia I'm with you when it comes to spending money.
Everyone says I can take a penny & squeeze it into a dollar.
I had to go with a moderate my entire stay this time.
Ramiro is getting so big.
I just can't get dressed in the value size bathrooms. :crowded:
We need the extra privacy of the moderate.
At least I scored the free dining.

Jo-I'm sure you'll like the moderate but just wanted to pass along a tip I read (but haven't tried) for your next trip. I've read that folks were going to take along a dark shower curtain liner and use those self stick 3M hooks to create a privacy curtain in the value room. I haven't actually heard any reports from anyone who's actually done it but it seems like it would work.

I've got lots of catching up to do. Hope to read that you got the job transfer you were hoping for. :wizard:

Maybe Clare can send her a six pence for her shoe.

Now that is a very good tradition... but they don't make six pences anymore :rotfl: I could send a two pence though... maybe a penny would be better as she has small feet... :goodvibes

can't believe I am ordering all this stuff for Disney! My thinks I am

Me too....I ordered a rain cover for my Peg Perego Pliko. We've never had problem with rain on a trip before but on the trip last Aug with just Joe it rained everyday. I had a rain cover for my MacLaren daytripper and I keep going back and forth over which (even how many) stroller to take. I think I'll take just the Pliko because it is very comfy, stands when folded, and has a running board on the back for a 2nd child. I suppose we could have made due with just a poncho or something but I think the rain cover will get good use.

I also just bought a 3 piece set of Samsonite luggage. 25" and 22" spinners and a wheeled tote. I got a great deal at BJ's of $119 for the set - couldn't find a single 22" spinner for that online but I got it thinking the 25" was smaller and lighter than the biggest bag I have at home but it was exactly the same size. SO...I really have to return the luggage.

And...I've been buying Emma girly clothes that aren't pink. Not an easy thing to do. I know it shouldn't bother me and it certainly doesn't bother her but everyone last year (and at home) asked me how old is "HE"? I found a really cute Pooh skort/tank set on sale at Sears-that sort of mint green, peach and chocolate brown. I also found a really cute Pooh tank top at H&M. I'll have to take photos and post them. I had the hardest time finding her a beach cover up that didn't have pink. I finally found one that was white with royal blue and real sporty looking. And you should try to find undies that don't have pink-even most of the white ones have pink in the elastic. I found sporty ones at Walmart that were navy and lime green and all white at Sears. She's doing great on the potty.

Deb I found the Eastport bag at Walmart today at lunch. Thanks for posting. I found the last one without a price tag so I never would have thought it was only $4.74.

Small feet? Are we thinking of the same Minnie Mouse? She & Mickey have huge feet! I'm not sure what I'm going to do about a garter because her feet are so huge, that to get it on over that, it will be too big around her leg. Luckily, I have a good DDA buddy that has offered to figure something out for her so that she has a garter & something blue.

An Update on my Brother.
My brother was home last thursday he opened the door to go outside and their was somebody on his porch. When he saw my brother he took off running. The car that brought him took off. so the guy starts running my brother starts running after him. catchs him and starts hitting him. somebody saw them running through the neigherbhood and called the cops. When the cops got their and my brother told them waht had happened they arrested him. Turns out he was just 17. Had the note he was going to put on my brothers door plus about 5 others. Along with drug paraphanella.(sp).
Well he started talking right away. Turns out it was 4 guys that were bored one new my brother ans his ex and another friend that used to live with my brother before we found out he was using drugs and kicked him out. The one that new my brother was mad at him because he had kicked the other guy out. and he owed him money. the 4 guys were high on something and bored and were doing it as a joke. Each note carries 8-10 years in Jail as a terroristic threat.

I know that I'm really behind, but I'm so glad that this has been resolved! I've been so worried about your brother. Thank heaven the police take these things seriously!

So what are you going to wear for the wishes cruise? Or at least what color? I'd love to have everyone in the grand gathering match if people are interested. I know I'll be able to talk Stephanie into it as she is a pushover for anything Disney (especially Mickey). She'll just have to convince her sister too!

My sister is so up for this. She's looking forward to the tshirts, the meals, the madness, Mousefest... she's looking forward to it all!!!

I will be there from 8/22-9/1. Beth & I will both be at Epcot on 8/22. I will also be at MK on 8/23...Maybe you can meet up with us at either?
I may catch June on 8/30.

Wed is looking good for MK. We are going to do the Fantasy EMH then head over to GF for a "brunch" at 1900 Park Fare. We'll have to leave MK around 10:30 ish.

Have you looked at the grand gathering t-shirts? http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...Merchandise?id=GrandGatheringsMerchandisePage

This could be an option...we can have whatever we want imprinted on them...

I know that Dave (Christy's husband) does not do the whole t-shirt thing. I think she could get him to wear a coordinating color...

Bill will wear whatever I give him...

How about a garter with velcro?

Hi GLynis,
Jim and I are doing this plan. http://running.about.com/c/ec/1.htm
30 minutes in 3 weeks. It is a run/walk program. It is an email program, so you get the plan day by day. I went here and requested every day now.
http://running.about.com/c/ec/1lost.htm

Then onto this 8 week plan.http://running.about.com/c/ec/23.htm

I love about.com they have great plans and ideas.
I also went to www.mapmyrun.com
You can put in an address and map a route and it gives you the distance. :thumbsup2

I am excited you'll be at the marathon! We have to meet. I am planning to run/walk although I have not decided on the ratio yet.

Thanks for these sites. I'm going to check them out. I'm so excited to get to meet you and hopefully some of the others as well. It should be so much fun!
