Kate, hope Nicks "re-do" on the EKG goes well. He's in my prayers!

Congrats to all the kiddos finishing school.

Welcome back, Jen!

Vicki, hope Chuck feels better.

See y'all in 9 days!

Maybe BK can call her and tell her how much she will miss her and ask her to please come?

That's a good idea. If she balks at coming, I'll call from the beach and have Brantley-Kate beg her! I sure hope they work it all out. We all love Keyla very much.

Denise -

I am so sorry that your SIL is taking things so hard!! Is there anyway you can call and talk to her and ask her to come? Maybe spending a week with you all at the beach would remind her of how wonderful life is and that her dad would not want her to be so sad.

It sounds like she really needs some counseling as well!

Well, we're packed and just finishing up some laundry. My brother just called and he doesn't know if my SIL is coming or not. She is really having a horrible time with her Dad's suicide and is very depressed, having panic attacks, and has lost 26 pounds (she weighs less than 100 pounds now). He said the marriage is in trouble unless things turn around. So I'm praying they can work on it together and both come to the beach. Please send PD that it's a good week. He's coming regardless, but BK is in LOVE with her Aunt and will really miss her company (me too).
I hope everything works out Denise, and that you all have a wonderful time. :sunny:

I started reading Kingdom Keepers during Becky's dentist appointment today. It seems to be really good. As they are describing different scenes at WDW, I stop to think about where that is. At one point, they talk about the Goofy statue and I think it is the one that June has her picture with. I thought that was cool. The book has my full attention when I'm reading anyway. I've had problems finding something that can keep my mind fully occupied. I think that I'll read Peter & the Starcatchers afterwards because the author of Kingdom Keepers is a coauthor.
Me too! I picked it up at the library 2 days ago.

I think she's getting some cause she's on meds for the Panic Attacks. I talked to her Wednesday, and she was coming and seemed fine. Oh, and their cat is in critical condition and had surgery on his leg today (he caught in something and broke all the bones, tore the tendons, etc). He has to be immobilized for over a month. That is not helping the situation at all.

Vicki -

I loved it!!!! I read it in one day!

It is so cool to visualize the whole story!!!

This doesn't give anything away - but the end very much leaves the possibility of this being a series!!! I really hope it is!!!

pixiedust: and prayers for your SIL and brother. I can't imagine the loss she is feeling. I hope that she is in counseling. My sisters marriage fell apart after we lost my dad because she was in a deep depression. I hope that she comes. Whatever happens, here's some more pixiedust: that you all have a great week.

Have a great time at the beach, Denise. Don't forget the sunscreen!

I guess you're Chuck's hobby. Be careful he doesn't start dressing you up. Seriously, maybe he's just scared because he doesn't know what's wrong with him, so he's trying to be as close to you as he can.

Yes, and there lies the problem. He doesn't have anything else to do. He probably would start dressing me up if I let him! I know that he is scared and I try to talk to him about it but he doesn't want to. I wish that I could help him. Thanks for letting me vent here so that I don't vent to him. I'm trying to be there for him as much as I can.

Darn it. I should have gotten Kingdom Keepers to take to the beach! Oh, well. Thanks for all the prayers and PD for Keyla. I'm off for some

:beach::sunny: FUN IN THE :beach::sunny:
FLORIDA SUN !!!!!!!

Since everyone's talking about Kingdom Keepers, I just went online and reserved it at my library. Mine is the first hold on three copies, and two are checked in, so it should arrive at my home library early next week.

I also put a reserve on the new Stephanie Plum - Twelve Sharp. That one has 329 holds already! I'll probably end up buying it way before I can get it from the library. It would be a good one to take on our 4th of July camping trip.

I think I read somewhere that there are going to be more but I don't remember where. I sure hope so if the rest of the book is as good as the first three chapters!

Speaking of trips, I decided to take the train to Washington for the DDA meet. I can catch the train in Poughkeepsie, change at Penn Station in New York, and on to Union Station. Then the metro to the hotel. I haven't taken a train trip before (except for the commuter to NYC and Amtrak once to Albany). I'm really looking forward to it. I wasn't looking forward to driving to Washington on a Friday afternoon (or even being a navigating passenger, since Melanie was going to drive). Now we're both looking forward to the weekend.

Ok, now that you've reminded I have the book, I'm going to bed and read. Goodnight all.

PD and prayers for your SIL and brother, too. I hope she is getting help in some way, and that they can hold things together.

Lots of PD and prayers for a great week for all of you!

That's sounds so cool! A train trip would be neat. I'll have to add that to my list for some day.

Ridley do you have any idea when the next book will be available? Secondly have you decided on a location? Loved your KK first book and read Ellen Rimbauer a long time ago when it first came out (loved it too). Can't wait for KK2.

Not sure when it will be published. First, I have to WRITE IT. My hope would be late 2006 or early 2007, but that may be unrealistic.
