The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 8

I had to rethink the princess border in Alyssa's new room, because I realized her carpet is light blue!

So, this is what I bought tonight on Ebay:

I've also bought some Tinkerbell and Princess wall stickers at Home Depot, so most of the Disney females will be represented!

I do have to pick a paint color though...light blue carpet and this colorful border...what do you think?

What about picking two of your favorite colors from that border and painting them on opposite walls. You could do the color at the bottom and put the border about waist high so Alyssa can enjoy the border and then white the rest of the way up. Just a suggestion.

Good Morning DDA'ers

Getting ready to go for my Weight Watchers weigh-in. Hopefully I will return later this afternoon with good news. The boys are off camping with my parents so I know they are having a great time fishing and swimming. We just picked up Austin yesterday from his Choir Tour trip and repacked him for two nights. It was good to hug and kiss on him for a couple of hours before we sent him off again. They will be back on Sunday afternoon.

Austin said he couldn't believe how New Orleans still looked. On Tuesday they had a workday at a local church still trying to get the congregation out of tents and back into the sanctuary. He says just about everyone has campers or tents in their front yards since there house still can't be lived. I have a feeling we are looking at New Orleans and other areas being forgotten.......and now the hurricaine season is just around the corner again. We definitely need to keep those communities in our prayers.

After WW weigh-in David is taking me to IHOP for eggs benedict. I will check back with ya'll later.

Good morning! I finally have internet again. In the middle of my P3 yesterday our cable went out and did not get fixed until late last night. Our water mains are getting work done and the crews must of hit a line. What made it worse was we have the VOIP phone so I had no tv, phone or internet!

Emma had her Kindergarten Celebration yesterday so I will try to post a pic from that along with the tote bags we did. Her 4th tooth is hanging by a thread but she refuses to pull it out or let us do it.

We have her last soccer game and then a birthday party that is an hour from our house so we will be gone all day! Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Just dropping in to say hello. We are off to a busy family fun filled day. We are heading to Home Depot for their kids craft session. Then off to lunch, to see Cars and then bowling this evening. The kids should have fun. I really want to see cars too. Hope everyone has a nice day.

Morning DDA!
Its been a crazy week, so i havent been able to post like i would like to. My preschool class had their graduation on Thursday--It went great!! They sang "proud to be an american"--Everyone had tears in their eyes!
Their parents chipped in and got me a 75 dollar gift certificate and they had the kids finish the sentence "ms jen is special because.." i LOVED reading them!
I had to babysit last night and im about to head to babysitting again! Tonight, im going to a fireman picnic and tomororw im going to visit a DIS buddy!

Cant respond to everyone--but saying prayers for those who need it!

Deb -- I am still having trouble with the DIS and so I am doing a "Quick Reply" which can be found at the bottom of the screen. Access this by clicking on the "quill and paper icon" on the bottom right of anyone else's posts. If you want to access the advanced posting (like you get with the "QUOTE icon") you can click on a button underneath the message window.

To quote more than one poster, I simply copy/paste the info into my reply and put the bracketed QUOTE thingy with the poster's name in it. Hard to explain without being able to use the features!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

No probem with finding 1's I would like to work @.
Problem is to find 1's with opening in my postion.
I have my fingers to be all moved before school starts
Ramiro will be entering Jr. High.
I have an appt. for the girls next Saturday.

Well, Chuck's pain is getting worse. He is taking Celebrex now instead of Motrin. The Celebrex isn't doing as good a job in helping relieve the pain. I sure hope he can enjoy himself today. This is where I'm going tonight for the anniversary party.

Yes that would be the Company I work for.
My DD & DS#2 live in Denver I'm just not crazy about the area.
Also we would drive each other nuts.
Old saying love to visit wouldn't want to live there.
We all are just to independent.

this is a drive by posting - I have to head to the festival!

I am scheduled for surgery on September 1 - I could have done it the week we got back from DC but decided it would be better to wait until the kids are in school - I will be on crutches and not able to drive for 2 weeks but he told me that I would be doing great at 4 weeks!! He also took an x-ray of both of my knees - and guess what...

both knees have the same problem and he thinks that odds are once my one knee is fixed - I will realize how much the other one bothers me as well - I have some arthritis starting in the knees so it is good that I am getting it taken care of now - and he said I will be shocked to find out how my knees should feel when I walk!!

and the x-ray tech is a Disney Fan too!! So of course, I directed her our way - I hope she stops in and says hi! Her name is Tammy!!!

Kate, glad to hear the surgery wii hopefully fix your problem

I wanted to let you all know that tonight I got an email from Karen's (lovespoohbear) dad - she is in the ICU - the email is not specific just that they had to call 911 last Sunday and that she has been in ICU all week - they were hoping she would be out of the ICU today but that didn't ahppen

Please keep her in your prayers!
