I've done a few in mid/late October. Had wonderful seas. I've also done a couple in March - I REALLY enjoyed those, because it was still pretty chlly here in New York and it was great to go somewhere warm. However, March did cost more. Don't you love parasailing? I did one cruise end of May, early June, but that was to Alaska. You don't need to worry about choppy water or hurricanes in the inside passage. That time frame was cheaper, and I didn't want to wait until later in the summer, because I wanted to be there while there was still snow on the mountains. It was a beautiful cruise, but now that I've done it, I don't think I'll do it again. It's a completely different experience than Caribbean cruising.

I would love to go crusing May or June 2008. That will be my next trip unless we decide to go to DL that year... Cruise or DL.....2008

Go to Disneyland and cruise out of California (Mexican Riviera, Alaska, Hawaii) - oh, the possibilities! Airfare across country only once!

One of my Alpha Phi Omega brothers sent me the link to this video, her cousin was the little girl who died. Please pass it on to everyone who has kids or is going to have kids to prevent another sad tragedy like this from occuring again.
Please lock up all of your medications and household cleaners.

I just got back from seeing Cars, I enjoyed it very much. Like all Pixar movies you must stay till all the credits are over. I could definitely tell it was a Pixar movie as I felt I had previously seen some things but with other characters. :happytv: I will not say more as I don't won't to spoil it. I highly recommend you go and see it. :thumbsup2

But Kate, I think Julia got it right about Cars or she happened to read my tag fairy tag about cars and boys :rotfl2:

Becky-

Do you know who they did In Memoriam for at the end of the film?

I think the short before the movie was great also.

Speaking of McDonald's the last Disney/McDonald's Happy Meal toys will be for Pirates of the Carribean Dead Man's Chest as Disney has not renewed their 10 year contract. Since they are trying to move away from promoting unhealthy foods to kids under 12. Check here for more information.

This weekend, I am going to work on my website.....

Taking the DGkids to see Cars. Thats should be fun.

Going to go visit DS and his DS for his birthday. His wife is in China and he's all alone... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I am going to find out why my leg is giving out on me. 4 times today. I'm standing and all of a sudden, my leg decides it no longer wants to support me. I almost cursty. Oh so much not fun....

Well, I can barely keep my eyes open. Off to dreamland.... :smooth: :smooth: :smooth: :smooth:

June - I think you have hit the nail on the head - the "fanny-pack" lasy definitely has low self-esteem... do n't they say that bullies pick on people to make themselves feel better?

So it's the hottest weekend of the year here... and our boiler has packed up! I just had to have an ice cold shower :cold:

DH is in there now and I can here him screaming!! :rotfl:

We'll just have to put up with it though until we can call someone out to fix it on Monday...

Please excuse my misspelling of the word "hear" in my previous post... for some reason I can only do "quick posts" via the box at the bottom... my edit and quote buttons just take me to a hanging page

:yay: Glynis is home! :woohoo:

Glad you had a great trip honey... I'm way back on page 2513 but looking forward to reading your trippie :)

Here's a brief synopsis of my last two days:

Yesterday at my doctor's appointment I found out I'm one cm. dialated! :hyper: It looks like I'll be able to be induced a week early at this point, which means July 7th (guess I'll have to wait on seeing Pirates 2!).

Alyssa's "water babies" swim lessons start up on Monday, so my friend and I took all the kiddos to the community pool last night to re-introduce them to their surroundings. The water was pretty cold, but Alyssa didn't complain too much.

The weekend forecast doesn't look too great, so I made sure we spent some time outside today. We went back to the zoo for about three hours. I'll try to post some pictures later this weekend. I was disappointed that the new koala bears were sleeping again, but we got to see the polar bears at feeding time, so that was exciting. Alyssa also rode the carrousel three times...thank goodness we upgraded our zoo pass and got free rides this year! :)

We had another house showing tonight and our realtor also called to follow-up on some questions posed by the woman who walked through and took pictures on Wednesday night. Maybe one of these days, we'll actually hear an offer!

I think that's it. Our weekend is going to be busy with painting, moving non-furniture items, and keeping Alyssa happy. We're also having another open house on Sunday.

I hope you all have a great weekend!
Amy :)
Amy - so it looks as if it is not totally out of the question for Matthew to share my July 10th birthday??

I am having trouble posting this a.m.... can't quote or use the advanced posting link.

same thing is happening to me, Clare. But I learned that I CAN quote from the quick post box!!

Same trouble here, just wanted to drop and say good day before I'm off to life in retail.

June I'm so sorry to here about your friend, Prayers are headed your way.

Hope Karen is doing better and out of ICU soon.

Amy, don't over do it with all the moving and stuff, remember to take care of yourself too. BTW I love the new border.

Hope everyone has a great day,

Debbie

All depends on what jobs open up.
For my position.
I'm a Maintenance Techican with Equity.
Maybe you have heard of them.
They manage Apartment communities.
So will see.
Jo.

I do know of one really nice apartment complex here in town. It is called Tree Corners Apartments and is probably listed in Snellville or Grayson, GA
