Here are pictures from beginning to end of a brown recluse spider bite. Sounds just like your DH. I'd be fairly certain that's what got him. Make him go to the ER.

That's what I thought too!! It sounded just like what bite Cassidy had when she was three. We were extremely lucky that the spider didn't get far into the skin because of the heavy pants she was wearing!!

I am there DEC 1-10...I wish they would release the narrators sooner..I hear August!!! I have so many adr's I am almost dizzy!!

Kool! (nope, not in bed yet.) Are you going to MVMCP??? If so, what night??? My plans are not firm at all. I'll be there Nov 30th to Dec 6th or 7th. It's hard to make solid plans until the narrators are annouced for the CP. Currently I have the CP planned for Saturday and Monday.... Have ADRs for Chef's de France and Le Celiier.... yum

We had a busy day but I just needed something to do to calm down before sleeping and getting ready for another busy one.

My newest nephew is a sweet pea and my older nephew is a crack up.
I love getting my baby fix and really knowing that I am done having babies....but then again I would love to have more.

We went to Six Flags today and had a ton of fun with just my family. My girls haven't been to WDW yet but spent quite a bit of the day comparing Six Flags to it. I spent the day comparing it to what Elitch Gardens was like before Six Flags bought it...I really don't like it. But I am not a big one for change.

I too hate surprises but I am doing so good keeping yours!! Vicki would disown me I think if I told. The girls often know their presents before they are supposed to get em. I a bad mama!!

I actually blurted out what I was making the girls for Christmas this year to Cassidy in October. It was much easier to keep "secrets" about their presents when I was able to convince them that what they wanted was exactly what I had in storage for them.

Well we are talking now but aren't going camping. Chuck's in a lot of pain and just doesn't think he can handle a car ride today so we'll be staying home after all. I sure hope the results from his tests come back soon with some answers. He looks like an 80 year old man walking around. I can't imagine the pain he is in.

I hope you guys get answers real soon. Chuck will be in our prayers. I hope you guys are able to enjoy your anniversary however you celebrate it.

Aw, thanks! Thanks everyone for the good wishes! I'm so looking forward to this. The kids are all packed to go to my sister's tonight, and I'm all packed (except for my "in the car" bag). Now, I'm working on getting the kitchen tidied up (the other couple we're going with are going to have breakfast here in the morning before we leave), then a few errands. We're going to try to work in a trip to the pool this afternoon, but I don't know if it will pan out. Alan is trying to finish up a freelance job before we go, and my glasses decided to break last night. So, I'm hurrying to the eye doctor for a new prescription (after 6 years it's time for a new exam) and then to the store for some new glasses. Yikes, so much to do, so little time left!

I've got my list of things to get, so hopefully I won't forget anything. If you've asked me to get you something, PM me a reminder so I can check my list again.

I'll check back in before we leave tomorrow morning, so I'll talk with you all later!

I will finish catching up later. We had Emma's soccer game, and they won 5-4. We don't keep score so it is an unofficial win but this was the first game we played like a team. We are now on our way to a birthday party.

Okay caught up from the 2 days I missed cause of work. Well Olivia and I are both not feeling good. Olivia started having a cough and runny nose yeserday. well this morning she woke up at 9 having labored breating. I gave her a nebulizer treatment. It worked a little bit. She feels warm to the touch but the therometer says no fever. I gave her half of a claritin tab last night thinking it was her allergies. She fell asleep in my lap around 1030am -1100am she has woke up a couple of times. tried laying her down and she woke up. I cant get her to eat or drink anything yet. As for me My face feels a bit swollen on the side where my wisdom tooth is bothering me, I have a runny nose, cough, and sore throat on top of having teeth pain. it hurts to chew and swallow.

I hope you and Olivia feel better soon.

Chuck says he isn't lurking anymore. He couldn't keep up. He says it was too confusing for him jumping from conversation to conversation. I'm glad he gave it a try. I would have loved to have him join us but right now, I hope he truly isn't lurking.

I'm so darn frustrated!!! Please understand that I am very sympathetic about his condition. I know that he is in pain and that in this case, he is just as disappointed as I am.

Now to my frustration - it is always something with him. For years, every time we had plans to go down state (across the Mackinac Bridge to visit my aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.), he got sick. I swear it was nerves. He would usually end up going so it wasn't that he was trying to get out of going. However, I would have preferred he stayed home because it usually dimmed my happiness in the trip. Or if he didn't go, my mother harped on me about not letting him get away with that reminding me of my cousin's husband who didn't come to anything.

When I planned our first trip to Disney, I was terrified! If he doesn't eat right, drink enough water, and get enough rest, he gets grumpy. Now most people would think his grumpy wasn't grumpy but to the girls & I, it is grumpy. We were truly amazed that he enjoyed himself and wanted to go back. That is one of the reasons that we aren't changing things. His belief is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". So we'll continue to stay at POR until we can afford DVC. At that time, I'll probably have to make sure we can always stay at OKW (whether it is our home resort or not) because it is the closest to POR from what I can tell.

I always have to modify the way that I want to do things so that I make sure he is eating, sleeping and drinking right. We could never do anything the "value" way. Packing a lunch just wouldn't cut it. He would hate the value resorts. To me, I love POR but sometimes I wish we could stay at a value resort for part of our trip and then move to a deluxe. That wouldn't happen because just moving would stress Chuck out.

Thanks for letting me vent. Chuck is a wonderful, awesome husband and father. He remembers my birthday, mothers day, and our anniversary. He does his fair share of house work & cooking. He is very even tempered and straight thinking. Most of my friends have trouble listening to me vent because he is so head & shoulders above their husbands that they don't understand what I'm complaining about.

The thing I'm most concerned about is that I'd love to travel by car across the country. At this point, I don't see that happening. He has talked about buying a camper & traveling with me after we retire but I am so worried that it won't happen. I don't want to be stuck home or going by myself all the time. I want to go on a cruise but I'm pretty sure that he'd hate it which is why I'm trying to do some research to show him what he'd enjoy. He would go with me if I really push the point, but I don't want him there if he couldn't enjoy himself.

Ok, my vent is over so back to your regularly scheduled program.

I can see how that would be frustrating.

Hi everyone!

Well, we were supposed to get the keys to our new house yesterday, but that got postponed until sometime tomorrow, since the previous owners fell behind on moving and cleaning. I think Kevin's a little frustrated, but for me, this was kind of a relief. We honestly haven't packed up a thing yet. Kevin did bring some boxes home today, so we have no choice but to just face this overwhelming project head-on!

Jennifer, I hope you and Olivia are feeling better soon!

Tammi, I'm sorry I wasn't around to contribute yesterday, but I'm glad to read that all went well with your dad.

Tia, I'm relieved to read that Phil got prompt attention and care.

Hey guys -- need your experiences/expert advice. I mentioned that my DH woke up on Wednesday with a very red and swollen arm. He remembers in the night feeling something on him/maybe a bite, brushed it off and went back to sleep. He woke up with a red place on his arm -- maybe a 5 inch wide circle. He called me (I get to work at 6:30 so I didn't know about this) and told me he was going to the dermatologist, who was actually on vacation but had someone covering for him. The Dr. looked at it, said it was probably a spider bite, then gave him antibiotics, an antihistamine and some cortisone cream. Well, the red area has continued getting bigger, and now the center of it is purple. I told my DH I thought he should get it checked again, but since the Dr. office is closed for the weekend, he said he would just wait until Monday. It is hot, but he said it doesn't really hurt.

Anyone have this happen/have any advice?

So my MIL called a few minutes ago and said Emma is crying that her belly hurts and wants to come home. She had pizza and ice cream for dinner tonight but we gave her her lactaid pills. Eric just brought her home in tears. I am hoping that she only has to go to the bathroom. We are now camping out in the living room.

I hope she feels better.

I've been a tad down. My achielles tendon is not healing as fast as the doctor and I would like.... you'll have this....

On the up side, I made all of my ADRs for my November/December trip. Even though it is not the best day to go crowd -wise, I'm thinking of attending the Dec. 1st MVMCP. I made an ADR for LTT at 4:30.....

Aren't there some other DDA's going down about that time?? for a pillowcase, right Paula!

Well, I'm getting ready to take some pain meds and go to bed.

We're just home. Recital was 3 hours long and then we went to dinner. Right before I left I got the mail. Imagine my surprise to see a box from Payless shoes with Kate's return address. I got all excited and figured I was getting some tie dye crocs! Nope! Just a...

I can't tell you how touched John and I both are. I cried, he was floored. We are saving it to give Rees Monday am on the way to the hospital. I will take pictures to post for you all. Thank you so much for thinking of my son. That means more to me than anything you could do. I really don't have words to express my gratitude to you all. Guess now I'll have to start a PM wardrobe of our own. Deb, would it be ok if I keep one of the blank shirts to make one for Rees' PM tomorrow for the hospital?
