Anne Marie,

Your girls look adorable in their recital costumes. Brantley-Kate has her recital next Saturday.

BTW, everyone see my new signature? Can you tell I'm ready for summer and that my mood has lightened considerably?

Good luck to BK! Looking forward to seeing a picture of her in costume.

Love your new siggie..it's not officially summer here yet, the kids get out of school June 23rd.

Just popping in @ lunch.
Everyone traveling this weekend.
Have a safe & fun time.

I have all items boxed up ready.
I'll take to the UPS office either Friday or Saturday.
I'll P.M you all with shipping.

I'll post a list of what is left.
Anyone that isn't receiving something.
If you want something off this list.
P.M me with your shipping address to confirm.
I will reserve by P.M time posted.
As I know there will be more than 1 person wanting the same things.

Jo.

So... do you think I'll need a bathing suit on our cruise? :rotfl:

I swear, I own like 7 of them that are all fairly new. I loved buying them once upon a time. :rolleyes1

So I go today, to see if I can fit into any of them? And I have NO idea where they are!!!! I have searched high and low, because - as far as I know - all the clothes boxes from storage have come and gone, and I didn't remember seeing them. So, they must have been here all along.

Well, they aren't. And according to my OCD lists we made when we moved here, they aren't in any boxes in storage either :confused3 :confused3

How do several swimsuits just diseappear?!

If you ever figure that out please tell me as Abi and Cassidy seem to lose part of their suits. And Jim and mine also disappear. But we did find mine in the girls closet hanging up. Do you hang yours to dry and put it in a different closet maybe?

Go buy a new suit anyway.

Jennifer.......from one nurse to another........if you haven't taken your NCLEX yet don't stress too much. It's really not that bad.
I send you lots of pixiedust: in the hopes you will do well & also that you have a wonderful cruise (and that you find your bathing suits :lmao: ).

I was thinking exactly the same thing! I expected it to be a little slow but not to a crawl! :rotfl:

Poor Alyssa. I get home from work tonight and Nicholas comes running out into the garage, before I even get out of the car, telling me he hit Alyssa in the head with the door but it was an accident. I get in the house and she is laying on the couch with and ice bag on her forehead and dried blood on her shirt and pants. She looked so sad and pathetic. My first question is 'does she need stitches'--she's already had them once. No. John and Nicholas explain to me that she was chasing Nicholas into his bedroom and he goes to shut the door, with the edge of it cutting her in the forehead. So she has about a 1/2 inch gash. Our neighbors, husband and wife, both nurses, come over to check her out. He works the skin back into place to form a nice line and gives us some saline and patches her up with those steri-strips that hold the skin together. They give us a supply for about a week and say she will prob not have a scar (I hope not!). So I've pumped her up with Motrin and just put her to bed. I hope she has a good night. Poor Nicholas feels so bad.

I've been desperately waiting for someone else to post. I'm sitting here with 4 sheets of paper in front of me trying to get the pals itineraries straight. I really need to get it posted on their thread.

Poor Alyssa! Here's some pixiedust: that she doesn't have a scar and is back to her normal self in the morning. ETA: Here's some pixiedust: for Nicholas since he feels bad.

Poor Alyssa! And poor Nicholas, as I'm sure he feels bad!

I'm glad your neighbors were able to get her set up, and hopefully there won't be a scar :wizard:

Thanks. All us parents with young children use them for our personal medical service a lot. I hope they don't start charging!!

That's really nice that they would be willing to do that for you all!

They are VERY nice people. They have 2 older girls who are in high school, so they've "been there, done that" as far as kids are concerned. They also have an in-ground pool and are always telling us to come over and swim whenever we want. I hate doing that though, because I'm always thinking 'are they saying it just to be nice or do they really mean it?' I'm weird that way.
