Sorry to hear that you cancelled your camping trip. I absolutelymy3princes said:We went to Home Depot last Saturday morning for their Kids Crafts program. Apparently they do it the first Saturday of each month. Kids can build projects. They supply the projects, tools and instructions. The best part was that it was completely free. These are the projects that my kids did.
Colby's Firetruck
Hunter's Mickey media rack, tool box and bird feeder
Nick's Mickey media rack and Mickey bookends
These are the cookies that we made today. The kids decorated them:
We have decided to cancel our camping trip for this weekend. If you've watched any weather reports you know that New England is having a summer Nor'easter. We have had non stop rain all day. The rain is supposed to taper to on/off showers for the weekend, but we still expect a lot of rain. My brother and his family can't go as his truck is sitting in Chris's garage. He needed a lot of work done. Chris worked on it Monday night, Tuesday night and tonight. He fixed everything that was wrong with it, but when they tried to bleed the brakes a brake line broke. He will now be replacing all of the brake lines. It was a good thing that it happened in the shop and not while towing his camper. My parents were thinking of cancelling due to the weather so we all are cancelling. We promised the boys that we'd do another Home Depot craft clinic as it is our Home Depot's 1 year anniversary so they are having special events. They also want to go bowling and we all want to go see Cars. Since we are staying home I will have to work Friday night as they were really short handed without me. Oh well.

the Home Depot projects! We will be checking these workshops out. And the Pooh cookies are too cute!
Great job on the Bridging ceremony!

Love the boys projects. How old do you hqave to be to participate in those?
