Paula's back. Yeah!!!!! Where were you yesterday when I needed you - or rather needed a cute little girl that could be posed for a cute picture begging Kate to post the pictures of Pal Mickey so I could go to bed??!!! No staples involved!!!

I was going to post a cute picture of three of my Brownies on their knees, hands folded like angels with puppy dog face begging for people to buy cookies at their cookie booth, but I decided against it as I don't know that their parents would like me posting pictures of them on the internet. It could have worked for any sort of begging.

Kate, Amy, Julie & Jennifer: what are you doing between June 11-15? I have to take Becky to Lansing for a leadership conference. I probably will take time off work because I have no reason to be down there the whole time and it isn't worth driving all the way back home on the 11th and back down on the 14th to pick her up by noon on the 15th. I'm thinking about taking a trip to my sisters in Cleveland (Chanon, I'll let you know if I do) and maybe also heading to Cincinnati area for a day or evening.

Oh, goody I am going to a leadership conference on my Birthday. Sounds like fun. Unfortunately I am working as I couldn't get off from work for my Birthday week.

As for the DC week it would not actually be my vacation time, but just the weekend that I would prefer to not work, but still I said it first. Thank you for making feel not like an hctib. Problem is I am too nice. I even treat people on my (s) hit list nicely.

BTW: Just to clarify none of you are on this list. You are all incredible people I am so glad to know.

I second that. These are beautiful pictures. I loved looking through her gallery. My BIL asked me where my scenery pictures were from our last trip since I take mostly family shots. I think I'll print one of all Bernadette's pictures and tell BIL that they are mine.

For those of you complaining about the rain, I want to let you know that we have rain mixed with snow & it is 32 degrees. Less than an hour from here, they are warning that the rain is freezing on the roads. Yuck!!!!!! What I'd give for a fireplace right now - even a gas one!!!!

Would you hate me if I told you it is 81 degrees here, and the sun is shining, and the kids are running through the sprinkler?

Thanks. I think it is really just allergy related. we had a lot of rain last week. so mold is high and the trees are blooming.

Well I have my own SSP that has been keeping me occupied so that I don't have much time to miss him. Also, Kate has posted some fantastic pictures of him having lots of fun so I know he is being well taken care of so I'm doing ok so far. She posted some cool pictures on the DDA adventure thread of Julia playing cards with him today. He loves playing cards so much that he took his own deck with him hoping that someone would play with him. It didn't take Julia long!

Paula - That was a really comprehensive posting you did, and I'm hanging my head in shame to have to tell you that I don't have my DL homework in to Kate, yet. However, it's a really good thing that I didn't as I just found several more handwritten pages in a notebook when I cleaned out my desk. I've been working on adding them to my other pages, and will get them all to Kate tomorrow!

Promise? I would love to have anyone come out. I was so bummed that I couldn't meet up with Ellen when she and her family came through here. Hopefully someone will take pity on me and come visiting someday!
