I love using some object to frame a picture. Here are some I quickly found from my September trip. Bernadette, not as great as yours though, I think yours is awesome.

Off topic but while I am posting pictures, an awesome view of the MK from my favorite ride.

:rotfl2: I obviously use an object to frame often as these are just a few from one day at the MK.

Congratulations Paul!

Good evening all. Just got home from work so I'm heading back to page 1994 in hopes of catching up. I thought that I'd be home alone tonight and have plenty of time to catch up, but it didn't work out as planned. Chris and Nick ended up coming home from the Boy Scout Camping trip as Nick collided with another boy during a game on wet grass and fell backwards hitting his head on the ground. Thankfully we have an EMT and a Peditrician that are leaders so he was well checked over. He apparently lost his color and threw up so they thought it best that he come home tonight and sleep in his warm bed as it was cold and rainy at the camp. Colby and Hunter were at my parents while I was at work and Colby had already decided that he wasn't spending the night. As soon as Hunter heard that Nick got hurt he was ready to come home too. So instead of just me we have a full house. Nick said that he no longer has a headache and his color is back so that is good news. The pediatrician thought that he might have a mild concussion at worst, but wasn't overly concerned. Nick just wanted to go to bed, but he had spent all day outside involved in busy activities which he isn't used to so I'm sure that he is exhausted. Chris just watched and he is exhausted. I'll be back catching up now.

deb

Best laid plans and all. Hope Nick is better quickly.

I agree, we have really enjoyed our stays here.

Kate, the Pop is not that bad. It's really cute, actually. I stayed there in December and am going back in August/September for my unanticipated free dining trip. You can't beat paying $1451 for 5 nights/6 days at Disney for 2, including food and airfare!

Speaking of Proms. What do girls in your areas wear these days. One of our neighboring towns had prom tonight and a few kids were in the restaurant for dinner before the prom. When did short dresses and flip flops become prom wear? There was one girl in a long gown with heels and she looked wonderful, but most were wearing very short summer dress, nothing that I would consider Prom Wear or even formal wear. The boys were all dressed in Tuxes tough.

Deb

The shorter dresses are in right now but geesh flip flops? That's like wearing your jammies to the prom.

We were married on a Saturday.

I remember I made my dress for my Prom. Only thing was that I got a size smaller. First time I had to wear a girdle :lmao:
But it was fun looking for the material. No one was going to have the same dress. Now a days it is just not to be if you wear the same dress. All the stores have a chart so no one has the same dress.

Denise hope your head is feelng better :wizard:

Off to bed. John thinks I got a mild concussion. My head has a nest egg perched on my forehead. I was really drowsy and loopy when he got home. I really am a dumb ****! That's why I haven't been on tonight.

I just picked a page to jump in and try and catch up...the last page I have written down is 1824 so I'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay behind

But Oh wow...when I saw this from Marti...and followed the link.I was like ..say what?!?!?!? :earseek: I was totally confused because on the first page there are names that are no longer part of the DIS.:( I was in a state of confusion for a minute or two!! :confused3

Then I noticed that thread was started 5 YEARS ago!!! :faint: Someone dragged that out of the DIS vault!

The question I have is -- are they gonna stop us because we are too chatty???

orginally posted by Clare
I'm sure someone already answered but it looks like their thread got stopped on a normal "ask a question get an answer" board. Kinda like when we got moved from TPAS to the scrapbook thread as we weren't in the right place.

I don't think they'd close down our happy place... Alicia would put up a fight and hey we'd just start another thread...

and Clare is RIGHT ON the money.:thumbsup2

When the board was being thought up the WM knew this "chatty thread" is one of the biggest parts of the Creative Design Board . It ain't going no where! :teeth:

Paul and Marti...congrats on the job! Great pick of Marti and Ellen! Sounds like y'all had fun! :)

Vicki... Congrats on the nephew!

Deb...I hope you're taking some time to RELAX this weekeend...you're post about the camp thing I read a few days ago wore me out.You really are Super Woman! :)

by Deb
His sinuses have only been checked during the day when he isn't in pain. This is my thought on this. I sometimes only get sinus pain for short periods of time and usually around bedtime. I know that when it starts to drain or move it can be quite painful. Typically I am not at all congested or irritated except for just a few minutes or hours. Last night my teeth all hurt for a couple of hours around bed time. I know that it is probably allegies or something as it goes away. I would bet just about anything that that is what is going on with him. Tylenol PM works well for me. It dries everything up and helps me sleep. Maybe a little benedryl would help him. Just a thought
.

Kate...this could be true.I have been through all sorts of sinus stuff through the years, and it's VERY frustrating. In fact the last 3-4 days my head has been in a fog and my teeth and around my cheeks killing me.I discovered Tylenol sinus a few months ago, actually I get the Walmart brand. It helps the pain. All the stuff the Drs gave me never did a thing for me.ANother thing I do which would probably be hard to do with a child,is rinse my sinuses with a mix of salt and baking soda in warm water. It really soothes the pain.I have a big eye dropper that I squirt the water up my nose.Ya know I think they sell saline solutions in those easy squirt bottles that you could use on Nick.

I hope Nick feels better soon! :wizard:
