I forgot to report back to you on the pages that I got from you for my neighbor. Well, I made 5 books for her kids, and put them in waterproof bags with clipboards and Sharpie pens (different color for each child). Catherine told me later that the kids never let those books out of their hands. They had an absolute BALL looking for the characters and getting autographs! In DCA they saw Cruella DeVille, and went to stand in line. People around them were admiring their books, and Cruella was so in character; granting autographs as though it was beneath her. When the Tuckers got to the front of the line, they all had her page ready, and she grabbed the book away from Seth, held it up high over her head and announced that THIS WAS THE WAY SHE SHOULD BE TREATED. She signed all those books, posed for pictures, kissed all the boys, and made a huge fuss over them! It really made their trip!

They didn't find all the characters, but Catherine told me that on the trip home, they were already planning their next trip to find more autographs.

That is the sweetest thing!! I think my Abi would be passed out if she met Cruella, Abi is a doggy fiend espescially the dalmations!! Thanks for sharing with the whole group!!

I got married on July 8, 1962 - it was a Sunday.

It didnt dawn on me that my wedding day was 6/7/69 and when myDH and i corresponded by mail his one zip code was 66068 -- 1966 and 1968 last two numbers of our graduation years

Kate, sorry you got wishy washy news on your knee too. And I hope Nick will feel better soon. Is he perchance allergic or bothered by something in his room causing a reaction? Does he always have the symptoms at the same time and in the same place (i.e. is in his room before he complains)? Just trying to brainstorm for you. Seems like we both are stuck in limbo-land. Pass a drink while I keep you company.

I do like the Oreo chocolate cheesecake... I always take longer than the entire meal takes to eat to pick out my cheesecake! I always say I need to list the ones I try, because I keep repeating them instead of trying new ones!

Hey Marti and Paul - I just looked on MapQuest and Fairport is about 5 hours from Poughkeepsie. We should plan a meet. We could each drive halfway and meet up somewhere (after the May 18th meet, of course).

How far is that from Ballston Spa/Saratoga Springs My DH and I lived there for 6 months while he was in Nuke School. We just loved that area.

I think I'm going to turn in now. I've been making autograph pages for a girl at work who liked the ones I made for my December trip. When my computer died I lost all of those, too, so I have to start from scratch!
