But when the l looks like an i - then it says Genie! - and that's so Disney :thumbsup2

Well my inner brat won over tonight and the studying was lacking... I'm going to give up and watch the apprentice... DH will be out all weekend playing cricket and then paintballing so I have two whole days to zap this assignment.

Hey, you're right! I guess that's ok.

Good luck with your studying. I bit the bullet last night and took my last final. So, offiicially, I'm done with school! Hooray! I feel pretty good about the test, but you never know. It was a lot of cataloging, and I think I did quite well on that!

Anyway, I'm a free soul now and can focus on our quickie trip to DL. Then our annual summer family reunions, and camping trips. It's going to be a very full summer. Hooray! No time for the kids to be bored!

Drive by posting:::::

Dawn -- Amy is right, take it easy - you of all people know what the other option is and it isn't great!

Kate -- Were you able to get to your doctor appointment to read the MRI? Fill us in. I hope Nick doesn't have any side effects to the sedative.

To everybody else: HI!

P.S Happy Birthday Heidi -- I love what your husband sent you! He's a keeper!

Ahh I did always wonder - that's a really cool idea :thumbsup2

Wouldn't work so well for me as mine would be ClLoSw

Oh and just picking up on something Kate said - I always pronounce your screen name reeannstreet - as over here St is an abbreviation for Street - rather than State :teacher:

Over here St is the abbreviation for street, too. ;)

Mine would depend on several things. Whether I used Elizabeth or Beth and whether I used my given middle name or my maiden name as a middle name (as I do now). ElAnAl, BeAnAl, ElBuAl, or BeBuAl...none very pretty. As it is, my screen name is for my name: Beth Buch**** All**.

The latest I have heard is that Member Services is allowing 5 people in a 1BR (not sure if that is restricted to 2 adults, and 3 children, or if it can be any combination of the two). However, the 5th person in the villa does not get bedding, towels, or a room key. (The room key might be of increased importance if staying for an EMH evening, when they scan a room key for each person attending.)

Hope this helps! If your sister has other specific questions, I'd be happy to call Member Services and ask.
Thanks. I wonder why they don't get a key for EMH. That wouldn't be an option as I'm sure the families would use AM EMH.

I just spoke with Kate for the first time!!!:Pinkbounc What a surprise to have a phone call from her.

She asked me to pass on the good news that everything with Nick appears to be fine. They are thinking that he is just suffering from migraines and will treat them with tylenol for now. The other thing it could be is simply a virus.

I was terrified of the epidural so I wanted to see (as things progressed) if the pain was worse or the fear of the epidural. I never said I wouldn't get one, I just wanted to see how things went.

As they were trying to get labor going after about 6 hours at the hospital we heard a woman screaming "Oh God help me" "somebody please help me" interspersed with piercing screams (think horror movies)...on and on and on... When the nurse came in my mom asked her about it and she said the woman was having a natural childbirth. That about did it for me :lmao:

I guess her husband wasn't Tom Cruise. ;) I had 3 without any pain meds at all, but every woman is built differently and handles things a little differently. My first two I was induced with pitocin drip, but the last was completely natural. I had easy labors and deliveries.

Great news! I am hoping for virus over migraine.

Beth! -- You have a new clip... congratulations! :thumbsup2

Clare -- I will let you know about the Starburst. Please just remember that Cadbury chocolate is the greatest chocolate on the planet if it was made in the UK. Our sold-out rendition stinks (minus the aforementioned mini-eggs)! As for P&P, I didn't like the book until I saw the movie (old version of the movie, not even a Colin Firth one! ;) ) Give the series a try if you have lots of spare time. It might move slow at first, but is very good!

Heidi -- how sweet of your DH!

And Dawn(and Amy) -- are you kidding?! Amy is right. You all should definitely move up here, if just for the milk! Does everyone else pay that much? Even without the Kroger sale, it isn't much more than $2.00 around here ever (somewhere anyway)!

Kate -- thanks for keeping us posted. Aren't Blackberries fun?! :teeth: When do you get to come home, when he wakes up a bit?

Wow, the one thing we can get fairly cheap here. We get skim milk for $1.69/gallon at Wegmans.

Change Kodak to IBM and my dh as the only income provider, and you have our life! I know how stressful it can be, so I wish you the best. :goodvibes Dh thinks that we have at most 5 years before IBM shuts down completely here. I pray that he is wrong. Last time we went to Disney, they were going through a huge round of closing down entire departments and layoffs. He had to call in mid-vacation to find out if he still had a job to return to. Fortunately for us, he did. Many friends did not fare so well.

Beth

Believe it or not we had the same situation in Oct. 2005. We had planned a WDW trip Oct. 1- 8 for the free dining. Then the whole downsizing/interviewing came up and we had to beg to have DH's interview early so we could still go on our vacation. We debated cancelling, but of course I didn't want to. Then while we were there he had to wait for a phone call while we were on vacation to find out if he was still employed. Luckily I had already found out about mine.

Too bad about all these big companies and the stress they continue to put all the employees through. I'm glad your DH got to keep a job for now. I know just how he must feel.

Kristine - Are you home yet? How was Vegas???

Thanks everyone for all the kind and encouraging words regarding my job situation.

Theresa, I was able to change my last night to a hotel near the Denver airport, so plan May 19th for a dinner if we can arrange everything.

My name using Becky's method would be ElLoBe. Reminds me of elbow or earlobe.

Kate, I'm glad to hear there is nothing too serious for Nick.

Woohooo!!!! I am so ready to meet somebody from the DDA!! :Pinkbounc

Depending on where you are staying I should be able to find a good place for dinner nearby!! I'll PM you in the next couple of days and we'll get it all sorted!!

Hello Daddy,

Well today is my birthday and 20th anniversary, sure do miss you.

Love, Heidi

Heidi -

I hope that you had a great birthday and anniversary!! And I love that you were comfortable to post this here!! Seems like now you feel at home!!!! :grouphug:

Thank you for the birthday and anniversary wishes. :)

Kate, glad to hear all is ok with Nick, hoping though that its not migraines. And yes I fell more comfortable here than on the CB.

Proud mom moment!!

Cassidy's Jazz Band got 2 1's and 1 2 at the State Jazz Band Festival. The 2 was in sight reading(which none do so well in anyway). Now we have to wait until the end of the week to find out if she won a soli award.

Kate- good to hear that the MRI was positive. Hopefully it isn't migraines because that's alot to handle for us grown ups much less munchkins.

Sorry to hear you had to cancel Tia :grouphug:
