Tammi -- thanks for posting the pictures of Alyssa and her birthday. She is really beautiful! It looks like she was having a great weekend!

This board is so slow it's painful. It's worse than dial up and I have DSL!

Wishing that I had nice weather! It has been rainy, cold, windy & overcast all week-end. I'm working on my plans for my Dec. trip. I want to be ready to make my ADR's at my 180 day window.

If you want nice weather, please come visit! Our weather is going to be delightful all week long. Temps in the mid-70's, 0% humidity, sunshine all day long!

Open invitation! Come one, come all!

That's the way it's been here for the last few days! We're actually getting a Spring this year. The last three years or so, we've gone from 40 degrees to 80 degrees practically overnight. It's really nice. We had a family cookout yesterday.

Hi, all. I'm behind and haven't read. Just wanted to say hello! We're good. Rees had a good day at school. Should get the test results tomorrow afternoon. I'll keep you posted!

Double post - it posted without the edit and the again with the edit?????? WTH??

Cave of Wonders is Aladdin.

Ding, ding, ding We've got a double winner. You both posted within the same minute. :teeth: I knew someone would know it.

Aladdin is the Diamond in the rough, who can open the Cave Of Wonders. Hence how the whole movie gets started off. It is the very beginning of the movie.

The reason I got the nickname, was because it was a Cave Of Wonder as to how I got everything done. Plus I was the Diamond in the Rough as I did so much was never recognized for it. I did so much, basically planned all the projects and things for the pledge class plus also did lots of other clubs, organizations and worked a part time job and still had time to get a 3.8 in my classes for the semester. Plus so much of my life seemed to be a mystery, as I keep alot in until I am pissed off and then let everything come out at once. So everything escapes the Cave Of Wonders at once.

So, Vicki, what ADRs are you planning to make, and when can you make them?

That's what I'm trying to decide. We are thinking about LTT the night of the MVMCP party. I'd love to see the characters in their holiday finest at the restaurant. We've never been to LTT.

I just read somewhere that there was a dinner package for the candlelight processional. I haven't found what restaurants were included for that. I may take advantage of that if there is a restaurant we would like to go to.

We'll definitely have to do LeCellier because Chuck really enjoyed his meal there. Don't really know past that.

My nickname for Alpha Phi Omega- national co-ed service is C.O.W or Cave Of Wonders. My Jersey actually says C.O.W on the back for the nickname. My big brother did not realize abbreviated it spelled cow. I think that is what pregnancy brain did to her. She was pregnant when I became her little and she created my nickname.

Can anyone tell me what movie the Cave of Wonders reference comes from?? This being a Disney related board I am sure someone will know.

I will tell you how I got it after someone figures it out.

I'm sure someone already answered this, but maybe with the boards being slow, I'll get it in. The movie is Alladin!

Tammi -- the photos of Alyssa on her birthday are just lovely. She looks so grown up all of a sudden!!

LeCellier is part of the CP Package. I don't think the characters dress up for LTT at MVMCP, but I could be wrong (it wouldn't be the first time!)

LTT is my favorite. I go every trip. We were there last year for MVMCP and the characters looked great. The food is wonderful - real home-style Thanksgiving (or Christmas) dinner!

I think LeCellier is one of the restaurants for the candlelight processional package, but I'm not sure. Check the dining board, I'm sure someone there will know.

DENISE Glad to hear Rees is doing better

TIA Have fun on your trip

KATE Good to hear Nick is feeling better. Anyone who is a control freak is a hard person to be around. You have a very good reason to get out of it.

PAULA I remember when DH was out to sea for three months at a time. I really enjoyed it but was so very happy to see him come home. Now I do a dance if he goes away for just a weekend  :cheer2: :lmao:

KRISTIN We are just an impressive bunch :teeth:

TAMMI I love the table and chairs. My in-laws gave each of our kids a rocking chair and stool for their first Christmas. My DD got a table and chair set like the one you showed but at that time who knew about the princesses? so hers just has flowers on it. But now she is using it for her little boy (it is blue)

JENNIFER
Happy
Birthday

To anyone who needs it :grouphug: :grouphug:
or :wizard: :wizard:

We'll have to meet up at breakfast on 12/2. We usually eat breakfast at the food court. What time do you usually get started in the morning? We are considering going to Epcot the night we get there as well. We'll hit Ghiradelli's at least once as well. Love that place!!!

Where, oh where, have my DDA friends gone?? Oh, where, oh where, can they be? With their days so short, and their tales so long, oh where, oh where can they be??

Very cute! :goodvibes

Denise is right. They don't really dress up, but here is a picture of Melanie and Debbie this past Christmas with Minnie, who is at least wearing a Xmas apron.

I have to tell everyone that Steffy and I have already started planning when Pal Mickey comes to visit us.

There are a few towns near us with quite unusual names that we plan to put on a shirt. He will definately go on a HOG ride with DH and I. Steffy has a Cabriolet convertable so he will be able to ride with the wind in his ears :goodvibes Plus he will have lunch with Steffy's Pal Mickeys.

That is just the start.
