The DDA Trouble Free Zone Part 7

Can I just say that you people are making it incredibly difficult for me to come up with excuses NOT to study for my last final? This has been a really slow day, and you've left me with nothing to do but catch up on my cramming.

I know! I even cleaned and caught up on several things I have been putting off. What's up with that?!

You guys gotta stop talking about proposing! You're making me depressed!

I too have been catching up on things around the house...I finally ventured over to Flylady's website and cleaned my sink. I may not have bleached it like she said, but it's spotless! Now I'm obsessing over water spots!
I also made salad for the week; cut up red and green peppers, celery, carrots, cucumbers for ready made salad.
I made strawberry sauce too! (3 cups fresh strawberries, 1/3 cup sugar, 1t. cornstarch, blendered, then boiled for for two minutes) We had waffles for dinner tonight, topped with strawberry sauce and whipped cream. Then my dessert now is applesauce with a spoonful of strawberry sauce mixed in.
Oh and I counted my change jar!!! Thanks to Bob's obbession with baseball cards and EBay (every time I see a card in the mail he has to put a dollar in the change jar) and keeping all my change from anything, we now have $96.50 rolled and billed!!!

I'm here, just studying in between refreshing the page. I can't tell you how boring studying collection development through the ages is. I know it's probably terribly important for me as a future librarian, but right now the sun is shining, there's a beautiful breeze and my flowers are blooming. I'd rather be outside. I've set a goal of 7 chapters studied tonight and that will put me halfway through the course load. I have to take the final on Friday, so it gives me some wiggle room.

In Tau Beta Sigma, the co-ed music serrvice sorority my nickname was Gilligan, as in Gilligan's island. I love Islands, boating, etc but they also rewrote the song words for me.
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale that's strange but true, I've got a million more to tell and I'll share them all with you.

This is because I always have the weirdest things happen to me and always had the story to tell.

I've also been watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition and Desperate Housewives, and then Grey's Anatomy. I had to record them as I attempted to sleep during them yesterday since I worked overnight.

Wishing that I had nice weather! It has been rainy, cold, windy & overcast all week-end. I'm working on my plans for my Dec. trip. I want to be ready to make my ADR's at my 180 day window.

My big brother did not realize abbreviated it spelled cow. I think that is what pregnancy brain did to her. She was pregnant when I became her little and she created my nickname.

Can anyone tell me what movie the Cave of Wonders reference comes from?? This being a Disney related board I am sure someone will know.

I will tell you how I got it after someone figures it out.

I had fun coming up with that play on words. I had to look up the original words (isn't the internet amazing) to make sure I had the tune right.

I didn't have anyone redo a song for me. However, I did get the "Tell Me" Award in high school because I was always saying "Tell me, tell me, tell me". I didn't like not being in the know! I only missed one day of high school (for my grandfather's funeral) because I couldn't stand missing anything.
