And a heads up to Denise. The parade is really dark. Not a lighted float parade like SpectroMagic and the street lights are all off too. Very, very dark. But I don't think very scary....

I'll make a VHS for Debbie and one for Cher too. Hopefully I can figure out how to make a dvd soon too.

My grandson dumped a bottle of water on my bed. He said, I made a mess. Yes, he did....

So I had to change my mattress pad, sheets and comforter!! I have a non-Disney comforter on my bed right now! Blimney!!!! How will I sleep? I wonder if that is why I am still up this time in the morning?

Hear, hear!!!! I couldn't agree more! It's much easier to stay caught up and homework on the side, then homework now and catch up on the side. I'm always worried I'll miss something important on the DDA, like finding out who all the alter egos are.

That reminds me...Terra and I went to see The Wild today and thought of you Clare! I can't remember if anyone mentioned it yet, but there's a point in the movie where the Canadian Geese says "and Bob's your Uncle"! I was the only one in the theater laughing at that point.

We had a good day. Slept in, and I made a big ole Southern b'fast with biscuits, grits, eggs, bacon. Yummy! Then BK had a princess dress-up b'day tea party. She went as Belle and looked so pretty. I took some pics and will try to post later. After the party we went to the large indoor outlet mall, walked around, went to Bass Outdoor Pro shop to see the aquarium/boats/rock wall. We ate dinner at Johnny Rockets and then rode the carousel. They have the tea cups (like WDW) on it, so guess what the kids and I picked! We spun so fast I thought we were all going to be sick. It was so much fun!!! They are in bed, and DH and I are relaxing.

Oh, and BK got bit by a spider last night on her ankle. It has a big ulcer and is oozing now. It doesn't look like a Brown Recluse bite, but if it's not better we'll have to go to the doctor.

Sounds like a fab day - hope BK's spider bite is ok.

Did you make the biscuits from scratch? They're my favourite breakfast item when on holiday - except for pancakes maybe - do you have a recipe? They don't exist over here :

This ones for our queen. This is my state vehicle (one of my staff was behind me in another car) crossing the Mackinac Bridge that I have to cross everytime I go to Lansing. In case you are not familiar with it, it is 5 miles long, the longest suspension bridge between cable connectors and connects the upper & lower peninsulas. Click the name and it will take you to a website about it if you are interested.

I'm loving her. A little background. This old house we bought is 52 years old. The people that we bought it from had it for 8 years. They were not the best in housecleaning.

Things that we thought we could clean, we have had to replace. Like the stove... Well, I took flylady's advice and used it to clean the sink. My goodness. My Dsil's mother came over tonight with two of his nephews and I had to show her the sink!!! It is a porclean sink and it was on the list to be replaced! It had a yellow film that we just didn't think would come out. It is pearly white now....

Now for the dingy blinds!!!

ok for a second there you had me confused... you used the stove to clean the sink??

Then I realised you used her advise to clean the sink not the stove
