I gotta tell a couple of cute nephew stories. My mom went there this weekend to be with my sister(shortest amount of time spent for any of the grandbabies). Anyway she called us this afternoon and told some cute stories on my oldest DN.

Seems when DBIL brought the new guy home Jacob (26 months old) asked to hold his new brother. So DBIL told him to sit on the couch and as he was placing brother there Jacob "I don't wanna see it!!".

Every time Ethan (the new one) cries Jacob giggles and says "baby crying" I heard this one....that's going to get old fast so glad it's not me!! :rotfl2:

That is great news! I did that same thing with my wallet last spring! I had taken Terra (then 2yo) and my 3yo niece to Target. It was my sister's wedding day and we were running a couple of last minute errands before heading to the hair salon with the other girls. I didn't notice for about 2 hours after having my hair done. I went into total panic mode because all of my money, debit card, license, etc was in there and I wasn't sure how I was going to fly home a few days later without it. I called the store and no one had turned it in. I took a chance and went by the store before heading to the park for the ceremony. There, in the parking lot, sitting in the cart was my wallet almost 3 hours later! We had used one of the fancy kid carts with the plastic seats attached and the cart attendants hadn't picked it up from the parking lot yet. I jumped out of the car and ran for it while the people in the parking lot looked at me like I was insane. I was SO lucky and SOOOO thankful it was still there.
What a small world. I have left my purse in a shopping cart at Target before too. I was in a rush to pick up the kids from preschool, the baby was crying and I just forgot it. I was lucky it was still there an hour later when I figured out what I had done. My DH was upset because after the incident with me leaving the purse on the car and driving off. He didn't want to mess with canceling cards again. Of course, I told him if he would like to let me sleep one night maybe my brain wouldn't be  all the time. Of course, I was nursing so he really couldn't take night duty.

The party isn't until 6:30 tomorrow night. :guilty: I am tired though, it was a busy day and I got nothing done here. We got up and went to breakfast. We stopped at the florist to pick up the cake toppers and they really screwed them up! We are making 2 chocolate and 1 white cake and all 3 will be frosted white. The two smaller cake toppers were made with a white rose center, 4 small ruby colored mini carns, white babies breath and a white bow under the flowers. They were so white that all you would have seen is the 4 mini carns. The florist wasn't there so the salesperson did her best to rectify the situation and added a ruby colored bow under the white one. I'm still not happy, but we were running late my then. The main cake topper is my parent's original bride and groom cake topper. I just wanted flowers added around the base to tie it into the other 2 cake toppers. It is huge. It must weigh at least 5 lbs. I'm not sure how I'm going to put it on the cake without crushing the cake. We had also make little 40th medallions to put into the flowers, but they said they couldn't incorporate them into it, so I'll need to do it myself. I will think twice before using that florist again. So by the time I sorted through that mess we were late getting the Boys to the Wall which is an indoor rock climbing facility that we were having a cub scouting event at. My oldest decided that he didn't want to climb. Hunter is a Monkey Boy and made it to the top of the 40 ft walls 15 times. Colby even climbed. He made it to the top of the volcano 3 times. I was so surprised that such a little guy had so much strenght. Since we were running late I forgot my camera so I have no photos :guilty: Hunter knows that I never back down from a challenge so he and I raced to the top 5 times and he beat me 3 out of 5. I'm just glad I beat him twice. He is so light and so strong that he is like a spider. Me, not so much  . While at the Wall a friend started talking about the suprise party for her dh tonight. I had totally forgotten as I was supposed to work. He was being honored as the citizen of the year in our town. It was an invitation only event and we felt that we should attend. It was also a potluck event (I live in small town USA, everything is pot luck) So we got home and I had to rush to throw together a dish to bring and I haven't been shopping recently as I wanted room in my fridge for Party stuff. Somehow I pulled off a last minute dish and we rushed to the hall. It was a very nice event and he was totally surprised. We ran to the store to get bread and milk, dropped the kids off at my parents (Nick and Hunter only) then came home. I decided that it was too late to start anything tonight so I'll have a bunch to do tomorrow. Chris will help so hopefully it won't be too bad.

Deb

Wow, Deb. I'm exhausted just reading. You are supermom!

The party will be fabulous tomoorw. Don't worry!!

Sorry to hear the florist messed up. Hopefully that will be the only problem for this party. :wizard: I hope the party goes well and your parents have a lovely night. :wizard:

Ebay was very profitable...sometimes we got more for the costumes than we paid for them, and this always helped us buy the next set of costumes! :thumbsup2

Obviously, we're not selling anything this year though, since I donated our John and Wendy costumes to Denise. Our dalmation shirts, skirts, and Kevin's pants are lying around somewhere, but I don't remember the sizes. Speak up if you want me to donate them to you!

Amy :)
I doubt I could fit it. But, wher did you find those dalmation outfits. I was thinking of doing all of us in dalmations for the MNSSHP.

I sure hope it gets better , the spider bite that is.

AND SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS!!!!
I worked hard on those.:lmao:

You should have answered a few just for grins and giggles.

Paula, she did answer your questions. Look in the quote. She edited the quote. But she didn't do it in a color or anything. You had to really read the reply to see the answers. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Well, I didn't get as much work done as I expected. Got a little sidetracked with company.

Which is fine. I enjoy company. That is why we bought this house. It's a do drop in house.

So I finally found my video from the Disney trip with tinker1bell. I didn't remember what I had taped. I taped Hallowishes. WOW!!!

I taped the end of Lights, Motor Action. I taped It's A Small World. I taped some of Fantasmic. I stopped when it started to rain at the very end. My grandson watched some with me. He sat on my lap and said "Disney" "Mouse" and then he grabbed my Pal Mickey and put him on his lap and laid his head on my shoulder and went to sleep.. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Life is good..... :goodvibes :goodvibes

I will probably regret this in the morning!! Espescially with us so close to another milestone, but night all!! I have to go to early service so Abi can get to a different church to continue working on her God & Family badge.

Good Morning DDA!!!

Then we can send it to my sister.
I am not good with graphics. Someone else can have it.

I had the camera focused on the castle so I didn't get as much of the fireworks as I would have liked. But the castle is gorgeous with all the things that were going on. Oh wait, I pulled back and got some of the fireworks about halfway through ..... The castle turned so many cool colors, remember?? When it said "everybody scream!" and the fireworks went 360!   you can hear me screaming!
