Hey Everybody;

Quick question, has anybody seen First Communion Tableware anywhere???
Cincinnati Dissers Specifically: Have any of you seen this, I mean Big/Dinner Plates, Small/Dessert Plates, Big & Small Napkins, maybe cups, and or decorations?? I can't seem to be able to find anything around here. If you have seen these things or have any suggestions could you let me know!!!!

Is it too late to order online??? His First Communion is 4/30....

Call GFS Marketplace. Lol.... 2nd time in 2 days I've mentioned them, weird. But if they have something (either in the store or in the warehouse) they can usually get it within 1-2 days. I have used them for every party, etc I've done

I was telling him Dawn called me and how nice it was to talk with her and that even though I knew she had a southern accent it still threw me -

and he said to me

"Just wait until you talk to your friend from England - I bet you don't think about her talking with a British Accent!!"

Just got home. The appointment went as both John and I expected. Dr. Meyers agrees Rees is refluxing again. He said best case scenario is that it isn't as severe as it appears to be, and that Rees is just really sensitive to the acid. If that is the case, they will manage him with meds and diet. But, we have to find out just what it going on. So either this Friday or next Friday he will go to the Outpatient GI Lab at the hospital and have an Endoscopy and pH Probe. They will give him an IV and put him to sleep. They'll put a tube with a small camera down his esophagus into the stomach to view the anatomy, check for hernias, and check the status of the Fundo. Then Dr. Meyers will attach an electronic sensor to the inside of his esophagus. The sensor sends data via a wireless device to a gadget Rees will wear on his hip for 48 hours. It will tell the doctor the pH of the acid in his esophagus and show how bad the reflux is. He has to stop all Reflux meds that week and must eat a very acidic diet for the weekend (apple juice, oj, tomato products, etc) to make the stomach acid as bad as possible. It is the only way go get an accurate reading. Last time he had a pH probe was awful. without the meds, he refluxed horribly and was in a lot of pain. I'm hoping this time won't be as bad. After 48hours we take the data box back to the doctor to download and analyze the info. If it shows moderate reflux and the Endoscopy shows anything, then we will go to the Surgeon to repeat the Fundo.

That is all I know at the moment. Please pray it isn't as bad as it appears and Rees can avoid surgery. Thanks for all your support. It means a lot.

Between all 4 hospitals in the Seton network here in Austin we have made over $4500 and we still have a couple more weeks till the walk.

Deb -- thanks for posting a picture of the front of the house. It looks so nice -- the colors of flowers you picked are beautiful!

A bit of irony -- I've told you all about the Beaver costume that I need. Well, guess what costume the drama teacher found for us to adapt? A BEAR!! (Back in November I looked everywhere for a bear costume and couldn't find one.) It's not nearly as cute as the costume Deb let me borrow, but it will actually work better for a Beaver. I told my DH that we had to pay penance and buy a bear costume because we never posted the picture of Jake in the bear costume Deb lent us. (I know how to post pictures on here, but I still haven't been able to stop the DVD to get a picture off of it...)

On Sunday afternoon, another mom and I are making Beaver tails and sewing them on to the costumes. This should be interesting since I don't iron well (we have to use interfacing with the felt so the tail won't fold) or sew worth a darn. (Buttons, simple seams and patches are my only sewing talents...)

Here is a picture of the entrance to our house. I used to have a little fountain on the right side, but winter didn't agree with it and it pretty much fell to ruins. It had mickey and minnie on it. Oh well, I just put a couple of hanging plants over there to give it a little more balance.

Well, I'm off to pick up Becky from track. Then we have to stop by her boyfriend's house so his mother can see her prom dress so she can make sure he doesn't clash. Prom is Saturday. Katrina is coming home again to help Becky get ready. I'm so glad she is close enough to come home for things like this. It is so important to Becky. Originally, Becky was going by herself since her boyfriend is from another high school but at the last minute decided to invite him. They've been dating for about a month. Her dress is beautiful. We bought it before school started on one of our shopping trips. I'll post pictures on Saturday. Talk to you later.

I'm really bummed. I just know that I'm going to miss the milestone when we pass the old thread! Waaahhhhhh! Everyone go eat dinner for a couple of hours so the thread stays slow until I get back!!!!
