That calico bean recipe really is easy and delicious!!! People make such a fuss about it when I make it and I feel guilty because it is so easy.

That would be good and it's easy. I could make it in the crock pot so it would be warm for lunch tomorrow. And I have the recipe!

I'm caught up with you guys!! I spent yesterday washing the front of my house, reinstalling the rain gutters, weeding the flower bed (the flowers are barely poking through) and putting out the bench and tables. I bought some hanging pots from Home Depot so we have a little color out there. It looks really nice. The outside is ready for Sunday so now I'm working on the inside. I have managed to get Colby's room and Our Room completely cleaned, dusted, vacuumed, done. I locked the doors so the kids can't get in there to mess them up. It is so hard to try to clean having 5 in the house and the party is still 3 days away. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but figure if I wait something will come up and put me behind. . I went to the florist and ordered the Cake Toppers yesterday. I think I have bought all of the supplies now. How can a litlle party take up so much time? I have also been PMing Vicki on the Travellin' Pals. Hopefully they will be ready for travel early next week. Who would have thought that such a little guy would need so much luggage At least it is giving me something else to think about.

I'm off to get something else done.

My Dad is much better and Mom is starting to feel better too. She went to work for 1/2 day today. She says she is just feeling weak now. Thanks for asking.

Hey Everybody;

Quick question, has anybody seen First Communion Tableware anywhere???
Cincinnati Dissers Specifically: Have any of you seen this, I mean Big/Dinner Plates, Small/Dessert Plates, Big & Small Napkins, maybe cups, and or decorations?? I can't seem to be able to find anything around here. If you have seen these things or have any suggestions could you let me know!!!!

Is it too late to order online??? His First Communion is 4/30....

Here is a picture of the entrance to our house. I used to have a little fountain on the right side, but winter didn't agree with it and it pretty much fell to ruins. It had mickey and minnie on it. Oh well, I just put a couple of hanging plants over there to give it a little more balance.

I think Davis would make a cute Phil. If Colby wasn't Pegasus I was going to make him Phil. I planned a flesh colored shirt with some brown embroidery floss in the chest area to simulate hair. I was going to use some furry fabric to make pants. Use make up for the facial hair and create some sort of horns. I think it would be adorable.

So you're thinking John as Zues (I already have that complete costume)
Rees as Hercules (you have that one)
BK as Meg (I have the wig although she is already a brunette so probably doesn't need it)
You as a Muse
Davis as ? Phil or Hades. Nick went as hades. Simple black toga and blue hair gel. It was lots of fun.

Rees likes how Hades looks with the blue hair and Davis said he would be Hercules. BK definitely Meg. John Zues. So me either a Muse or Hera (Zeus wife/Hercules mom) unless you can think of something else for me. I love the PP idea, but it seems like so many people do Peter Pan.

Would you help me with a little Meg and for me, let me borrow Zeus? Thanks, Deb! Maybe we'll get picked for the parade too!

I really don't think I could ever find the right words to post right now - just sitting here thinking of how you all have enriched my life in the past year has me in tears. I never imagined I would meet the most wonderful people in the world on the internet. Everyone of you is so important in my life and you are all a constant!! I feel lucky that I have met so many of you and that I am on my way to meeting more of you- I would love to eventually meet all of you!

Rees is 45" and 40 pounds. Thanks, Deb. Am I going to offend anyone being a Muse (I wouldn't put on the makeup if you catch my drift) or should I go for Hera?

there is midnite - but she logged in last night at 10:30 - so I am sure she is okay
bengalbelle - last logged in yesterday - she told me she was getting ready for the storm
tarmand - hasn't been on since before the storm
