I've got 9 pages to read and I'm not sure if I'll have time. I just finished the Anniversary Cakes. I am no Betty Crocker, but I think they came out pretty good for a girl that has no cake decorating talent.

Do you think this is fancy enough for a 40th party. We are only serving cake, Ice Cream and soda/juice so I want this to look great.

How many times do I have to quote Kevin, "It's not the camera, it's the photographer!"

Our camera is actually outdated, but I appreciate how often we get compliments on our pictures, because Kevin's been dying to upgrade, and that's one expense we can't afford right now.

We have a Canon PowerShot G2. It's 4 mega pixels. We've had it since October 2002. It's a little big, but it's worth lugging around.

Ok, here are some of my pictures! I agreed with Amy and avoided taking shots of the big girls (although she did get in one, but it's too cute so I might share it still )

So they are similar to ones you have already seen -- at least the characters

Julie's Kyle entertained us with a song and later a (pretty long!) dialogue he had memorized from Toy Story. He is incredibly talented!

Then the fun moved inside for an Easter Egg Hunt. Nick and Alyssa liked finding the eggs before they were really hidden!

Clare, I hope you weren't really worried about the outcome of the cookout. Of course Kate made that all up! It was so nice to finally meet Jennifer and Kyle and I can tell you that our child was exhausted by the time we got home from all the playing and running around.

It's just when Marti and Paul came for games night everyone was talking about it - and then last night there was nothing, just Kate's post and it did make me wonder

I actually have no pictures of the "older" girls. Of course, you already know how beautiful the four of us are, so no pictures are necessary.

But, here are the younger girls:And this is what happens when the three girls spend a few minutes alone in Julia's room. Of course, we made them pose in front of Kate's front door!

That's all I have. I don't think Kate or Julie took any pictures, but I know Jennifer had her camera. She may post some later!

Sorry to have scared a few of you for a moment. The post was actually Kate and Julie's doing.... Amy and I were completely innocent. Well, except that we did come in and laugh hysterically when we saw what they were up to! I do have a report from Kyle that he and Kevin might have made fun of us for DISing even when we were together, but I'm sure that's just a rumor.

It was great to finally meet the other Cincinnatians. The DDA kids are as adorable in person as they are in pictures... hopefully more of us can meet so I can see the rest of your cute kiddos! The adults are pretty fantastic, too!

I pooped out first, as I didn't ever get to sleep in between the hospital and the cookout. I'm still pretty tired now, as my dog must have found some crack while we were gone and was out of control all night so I'm off to try and rest a bit before my last full shift

The prom yesterday was a success except for Mom screwing up the pick-up point and leaving a nasty message on someone's cell phone before finding them 2 minutes later. The middle school & high school are connected. The dance was in the middle school gym as it is the bigger gym. I missed her telling me that they would meet me in the senior parking lot which is at the other end of the school. I panicked when everyone was gone and she still hadn't shown up. Then when she didn't pick up her cell phone, I truly panicked. I don't usually swear and when I left a message saying where in the h - e - double hockey sticks are you, it upset her a little because it was so unexpected. Mom apologized and all is well now.
