Ok, I'm headed to bed. Rees has therapy tomorrow after school, Doctor's appt Tuesday, Wed is normally very busy but it also the kids Creative Movement Program and Staff Meeting after school. On top of that John's working crazy hours and won't be home tomorrow night or Wed night. I don't know how single moms or moms who have DH that travel all the time do it.

See y'all tomorrow.

Oh my goodness, Glynis. You are breathtaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No wonder your DH is being so nice to you. He wants his turtle time with his hot wife! I am very proud of you. It is an amazing transformation. You look so much younger too. WTG!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. Yes, he wants A LOT more turtle time lately. He says he feels like he's having an affair or something. Well, as long as it's an affair with me, I'm ok with it!

Tomorrow, all the candy will be half price. That's when DBF and I stock up on our favorite sugar free treats. We like the Easter nests (coconut covered in chocolate with three little jelly bean eggs) and the marshmallow bunnies. We bought so much sugar free candy last year half-price after Easter that we still have some left. Think I'd better throw that away and buy fresh stuff this year because the marshmallow starts to get all gooey after a while.

We eat the sugar free candy when we are on the low carb diet. We like it so much we tell ourselves we should eat it even when we aren't low carbing and want a little treat.

Jennifer

It's amazing how good the sugar free stuff is!!! I'll have to go to the store and check out the sales tomorrow!

I can eat one of the sugar free chocolates, and I'm good for a couple of days. I've really lost my craving for sweets, but every now and then it's fun to have a taste.

Yeah - the bad news is that we're also sharing it with you and tomorrow is YOUR day with it!!

Let me share my day.....

We planned for 9 for dinner. Eight plates and an infant... The table was set. The food was finished. I had to make two Wal Mart runs as my son-in-law needed more cheese for the mac and cheese and brown sugar for the sweet potatoes.... The food was delicous!

My son and his wife drove up and I had lots of 'smell the baby's head time'...  They dressed him in his Eagles onesie and a "going to grandma's" bib. So cute..

My son-in-law's family showed up with an additional 7 people..... : :rolleyes1

You know, we didn't miss a beat. Pulled out paper plates, plastic forks (I so love that my daughter always has them on hand) and we just had a ball.

Nanny T hid eggs in our backyard and the kids ran around and found them...My granddaughter found my Disney easter egg decorating kit (I'm still unpacking from the move...long story) and we blew the yolks out of 3 eggs. She gave 2 to her cousins. We couldn't find the vinegar until after the kids left, so the eggs color wasn't very deep. But we put glue on and beads. They had a ball...

Then we made cupcakes. Nothing as elaborate as y'all. I'm just not that talented. But they were cute and I used Sponge Bob Squarepants muffin liners and my grandson loved them.

This is why we bought this house. The kids had a ball in the back yard. The inlaws had a place to smoke :smokin: We had 16 people when we expected 9 and it was no big deal. Just pull up a chair or sit on the sofa and pull up a tv tray or sit on the deck and take your plate and smoke.... There was still plenty of food, some had plates of food to take with, so my DSIL cooked enough.... Everybody gets along, and it is so nice that my DSIL has so much family right near us.

It was such a good holiday. I am blessed. :cloud9: :cloud9:

I am not sure how you all do it...staying up late and getting so much accomplished in the day. Tomorrow is a day off for me...so after getting Abi off to school I am going to try and catch up on emails(900+) that I missed this weekend, a little cleaning and a long nap!! I am tuckered out!!

Thank goodness I don't work tomorrow. My poor kids would be so confused. I'd talk with a NY and Midwest accent, wonder where my tie dye Crocs were, tell everyone I didn't have triplets, crave Dole Whips, be thinking of my next great project to send to Disney...

Well, ladies, it's pumpkin time for me!

Talk to you all, tomorrow!

OK, I actually need help with something. I have not been to a funeral since my Dad died 14 years ago. Add to that the fact that I have recently lost 35 pounds. Is it appropriate to wear slacks to a funeral? I am talking good quality, lined dress slacks. Is it more correct to wear a dress? Should it be black? I think I am going to have to find time in the next day or so to go buy something and I want to make certain I don't spend money foolishly and buy something I can't wear any other time. Thanks for your help.

Elin, I know slacks are fine.....

First off - there is no such thing as a midwest accent - people on tv talk like ME!!! :thumbsup2

and I would take great offense at the crocs comment - except I wore them with my easter outfit today - yes a balck and white skirt and balck top with my tie dyed crocs - my knee couldn't handle the heels - so I just told everyone I was wearing easter egg shoes!!!
