I think you mean Jennifer! ;)

Welcome home...how was your night?

Amy :)

Oops! Sorry Jennifer! I'm still getting used to real names. The signatures are helping alot. The drive was uneventful. Katrina was very talkative on the way up. She is planning on staying up there for the summer and having problems finding a place to live. She is very impatient and wants it all taken care of now. Can't imagine where she gets it. I was able to post a little when I got back but you had been so chatty that I didn't have time to catch up.

Dawn,

Well wishes for a healthy baby. And that you get the news that you will soon have a little princess: My girlfriend is due the same time as you. She is having a girl.

We waved to Marti and Paul as we passed the Rochester exits. It brought up an interesting conversation in the car. First, my dd (12) was horrified by the amount of information that we share with each other such as real names and where we live and that we've talked about meeting. It's good that she knows that it is unsafe, but it was hard to explain the double-standard. Second, I didn't know that my kids knew so much about all of you. They could name a good number of you and describe your signatures, etc.

I have the same problem. How do you explain to your girls that it isn't ok to share details about yourself on the internet and then spill your guts to the DDA?! Sometimes, I still can't believe that I am since I swore that I would never, ever get involved in a chat group of strangers. Well, I guess I didn't do that because I felt like I knew you all before I started chatting. Oh well. I'm glad I found you all and I hope my girls stay safe online.

Finally caught up. Now I'm off to work. Have a good day DDA friends!!!! Chat with you later.

Rees' appt with the GI doctor is tomorrow at 12:15pm EST. We'll talk about everything and try to figure out the best course of action to take. I'm hoping the doctor has decided what test to order so we can see about the Fundo and surgery. Rees did reflux tonight again (not as bad). He cried at the end of school today as he was stressing out over going to the doctor tomorrow.

One of the women I teach with (actually she is BK's teacher) is watching Davis and Brantley-Kate for me. John will meet us at the doctor. So if y'all can spare some prayers for him, I'd appreciate it.

Absolutely -- prayers to him and all of you. pixiedust: pixiedust:

Thank you, Kate. You rock. :cool1: I love, love, love the signature. I love Snow White and Dopey and this is just so great.
When DH and I got married, our invitations were Snow White and her Prince. And our napkins were the 7 Dwarves. So totally crazy but it was the closest I could get to having the wedding at Disney. Though we were engaged at the wishing well at Cinderella Castle. Thanks again.

Cute signature. And I LOVE Your new tickers! :goodvibes

I finally got to bed at 2am after catching up on this thread and there were only 3 pages posted in 7 hours :cheer2: That you early birds for giving a poor girl a break. I guess I need to make sure that I check in for short periods of time often during the day to avoid 2 hours of catching up late at night. Now that my bathroom is pretty much together I can clean the kids rooms again, but I'm wondering if I should just wait until the end of the week as they are home from school this week. I guess I can start pulling out the decorations that I have picked up over the last couple of years and see what I've got and what I still need. I want everything to be perfect which takes time, but if I start too early I'll end up having to do it all over again (insert pulling out my hair smilie). I think that my db and I have decided to buy new chaise lounge chairs for their pool deck as a gift. It is so hard to buy something for parents. They tend to have everything they want and if they don't they will just buy it themselves when the urge strikes.

Have a wonderful day. Rees and Dawn here's a little extra :wizard: :wizard: and :wizard: :wizard: for both of you today.

Deb

Found this on another site. I can't wait! I love Disney stamps.

U.S. stamps to feature Disney lovers

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla., April 17 (UPI) The U.S. Postal Service is paying tribute to springtime romance with a series of 39-cent stamps featuring Disney characters.

The stamps will be unveiled Friday at the Disney's Epcot Center Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., and available at post offices nationwide on Saturday, the USPS said in a news release Monday.

The new stamps will feature Cinderella and Prince Charming, Belle and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp and Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Can I just tell you about our little drama since Friday? We're trying to teach the kids to wipe themselves after going to the bathroom. Davis needed to go Friday afternoon, so I told him to try to wipe himself, and when he was done I'd come check. Well, he calls me into the bathroom. He had used about 15 baby wipes and completely clogged the toilet. We tried everything to unclog it. So finally today I took the kids to Lowes and bought a powerful plunger and a toilet auger. After 3 hours tonight and slitting my arm wide open on the auger, I finally got in unclogged! the bathroom was a disaster, and it took DH and me another hour to clean it. But we saved a big Plumber bill. I was pretty proud of myself!

And Mrs. Fix-It, as well as a designer. :thumbsup2

Yuck - our local weatherman just said we broke over 100 degrees today :earseek: - and it will be 98 again tomorrow! Any of you Northeners want some heat shipped your way?!

Marci and Jennifer - I think we might be in for a LONG summer! Blech.

Agreed -- were you in an area with the rolling black-outs? Thankfully, we weren't, but I heard from the mom of a schoolmate of my kids, and they were without power for several hours. When she e-mailed me, it was over 85 degrees in their house at 10:30 last night!

Yes please! I am tired of it being in even just the 50s. Can you spare about 10 degrees to send my way?

Congrats Denise! :cool1:

And thanks for getting the thread back on track with POOP! :rotfl:

Amy :)

That's right. We've been off topic for so long we seem to have forgotten the real track of this thread!

Way to go, Denise! I am very impressed with your plumbing skills. Sounds like Disney money in those savings!

Beth - I am going to attempt a quick recap - but I am so afraid that I am going to miss something -

Most important: Elin's Mom passed away on Sunday - the funeral is at the end of the week

Rees - has his doctor's appointment today so Denise should know more this afternoon (and she finally committed to her October trip with the blessing of Rees' school!)

Dawn - is probably at this very moment arriving for her sonogram and we should know later this afternoon if we will have another DDA princess: or pirate:

Julie's dog Cody has a lump in his leg and they are doing a test on it today to see what is wrong with him

Everyone posted their Easter reports

I think everything else was chit chat and harassment - someone please let me know if I forgot anyone or anything important (I am really sorry if I did!!)

Denise: I have just one thing to say to you!!

Whatever, First i ignored all the "poop" stuff because it was just stupid. Now its beyond that.

I WAS here to look at all the designs.

And i will not got through 20+ pages of people talking about "poop" all the freakin time.

Enjoy your thread i'm leaving.

Was fun while it lasted.

(I'm glad your son is ok, but it could have been done in three posts.
1. this is what son did. 2. this is what we are hoping for. 3. Its over hes ok.)

would have been nice if you had made a "poop" thread of something instead of ruining this one for me.. but i'm sure you all think i'm just wierd and don't care.

gone.

Chanon,

That is exactly how Cobain lays with me :goodvibes The minute I sit on the recliner, that is where he is.
We finally had to keep the cats out of the bedroom because you can only take so many times of them walking over your head telling you they were hungry :lmao:
You would have thought we had not fed them in months. Every morning now they paw at the door. I don't know what is worse. Hubby yelling "knock it off" and waking me up or the pawing at the door or the walking over our heads :lmao:
