Kristin- Love the fireplace.

Robyn- I am glad to hear you would rather be in my company than your SIL. I am a bit me-istic you know. So to be around me make you a better person.

As far as the base your SIL will be stationed at, I am not sure why she can’t tell you the base, but whatever. I don’t think the base is a secret (not to be confused with the secret I have and am not telling you all), it would be her job that would be secret. Usually when we are not allowed to tell where we are going, it has to do with locations that are not well known, but to be stationed someplace for a few years is not a normal secret thing.

I found four Air Force bases in England. You can google them and try to figure out where they might go. And if you do go visit Clare, then you might have time to stop in and visit you family as well.

RAF Alconbury
RAF Croughton
RAF Mildenhall
RAF Lakenheath

A few of you think you know my secret? I will tell you this much……One of the fine DDA cult members knows. (tee hee)

Theresa – you funny girl, it was Bethie who had the bad diaper. Although after this morning when DH saw Kate’s design for me, I almost had to change is tidy white-ies.

Denise- I am glad to hear things for Rees’s class and you r trip are going to work, sounds like some good folks at the school.

I do have a question for you… You are going to find the Easter Bunny at Target??? Wow you’re good. I always have to have things ready for the Bunny Dude. I’m going to Target next Year.

Be back later today. I'm off to do housework. Fun, fun!

I am bag on page 1383 so I have a bit to catch up on.

Clare- Did you get to cleaning the loft yet?

Yep - although we're having to do it in stages as I have a dust allergy and after about an hour my skin starts to crawl and I have to go take a shower! We've already taken one car load to the tip and today I filled another 3 boxes with junk!

We're getting there slowly but surely :thumbsup2

How am I doing? Are you impressed or bored?

I'm loving the pictures but wanted to comment on your beautiful children. They are gorgeous.

On the other side though, I think I'm rubbing off on him! In the last few days, he's been cracking me up.

When we were at Jungle Jim's, I told him to go grab either french bread or baguettes for the boursin cheese. To which he PROMPTLY replied, "Maurice -- the baguettes, hurry up!" and then had 'Belle' in his head the rest of the afternoon.

Yesterday on the car ride I was going through Lou's disney trivia book with him (alternating with Movie trivia (non-Disney), I keep it fair!). He was answering questions left and right, and then providing extra details for me. "Well, since Epcot opened 11 years after the Magic Kingdom, and the anniversary is next year...."

I just smiled and told him how much I love him! I can't imagine how "bad" it will get when we have kids! :rotfl:

WOW! You look great! Both times, but the weight loss is very nice. Sexy Momma!!!  :cheer2:

Also love the new hairstyle....

Thanks. The hairstyle was my Easter present to me! If I'd had the time, I would have done a color, too, to get rid of the gray that's seeping in. Oh well, maybe this week.

Glynis- Give me a time frame to work with. I am always up for a little DL.

Vicki- May works for me, can’t wait to see him.

Stephanie –I know there is a way for you and your sister work make the trip work. I will pray that an idea comes to you and your sister soon.

Julie- I am sorry to read about your dog. I believe a pet is a family member and I will tell you most four legged family members have no idea they are “Pets”. I will pray for you all.

Lindsay – Yeah an assistant!!! Things might just work for Hawaii.

Happy Birthday Mr. Lindsay!!!

Deb- Good to read Nick is ok Sounds like you had a lot of fun too!

Jennifer- Love your pictures

Okay, I hope this idea doesn't make me a bad person, but get your dr. to write you a note for a wheelchair-- or whatever a person needs to rent a wheelchair at WDW.

I'm not advocating that you use it at every park, but for AK which is all walking and totally exhausting it could be useful. Plus, you could get to the front of the EE line. And the other ladies could be with you.

Is that terrible of me to suggest?

Jennifer

You don't need a note to rent a wheelchair at WDW anyone can do so. Believe me I sprained my ankle in the Magic Kingdom at about 6:30pm at night and they gave me one to use for the rest of the evening.

We showed up at EPCOT at 8pm and the park closed at 9pm and they just gave us the wheelchair to use. We were going over to Japan to eat dinner and there was no way I was walking my sprained ankle over to the other side of World Showcase so I could eat dinner.

You might actually be able to borrow a wheelchair from the resort you are staying at if you call and have them request it on your reservation. Or you can rent one in the park if you decide you need one. After walking for awhile it might really start to bother you. Just take it easy you don't want to make the injury worse.

We had a great day yesterday too. We felt we had been going overboard with the baskets the last few years so we simplified this year. MUCH better! Christopher was crazy about everything in his basket and after he finished looking in it said he wanted to make an announcement. Then he thanked the Easter bunny. The Easter Bunny hit a home run with the Teen Titans DVD. Christopher and Brian watched it for a while yesterday morning while I did some cleaning. Sad, I know on Easter but I was behind from being sick.

...

Christopher's announcement must have been too cute!

:wizard: for you finding a church. Kyle and I are planning on going elsewhere in the near future, as the demographic of our church leaves us from feeling comfortable at anything but the service. IE Sunday School, etc there are classes for "young marrieds" but they are mid-30's with children. Which are some of my favorite people (since it refers to many on this board  ) but at a different place in life. Then there's the "College and Career" which is really just college, and it's barely 20's that are not even dating seriously. Also a different place....

But 'our' church is my parents church, so I'm having a hard time making the jump :)

Denise - I was just about to offer you mine as I have VHS and DVD - then realised our video systems are different so it wouldn't work...

the thought was there though!

Hope you find a copy - that's my favourite Disney movie :goodvibes

Mine too! :thumbsup2 Well, for the time being. I THINK it's my very favorite, but I tend to change my mind on the subject :)

Ok, so that P3 took WAAAAY too long. Are the boards just being super slow for me?!

I'm off as well to try and be productive  My mom is making Easter dinner tonight, I can't wait! I don't really have anything else on the plate though (specifically) so more likely than not I'll be on and off all day :)

If you have a minute, we could use some pixie dust for our mortgage process. I don't know if there's anything wrong, it's just taking a REALLY long time. And I realize that they do take time. I'm just a little nervous because we aren't getting a traditional mortgage. We're trying to get a 'doctor loan' (sounds shady, but I promise it's a real thing :rotfl: ) that has all sorts of certain criteria -- no PMI, not taking deferred student loans into consideration (which is HUGE for residents whose loans are more than they'll make during their entire residency), little to no down but with a good rate still, etc. Basically a loan taking your future income/debt ratio into consideration rather than your current situation.

I don't know, there's a list of like 20 things that we are supposed to look for, and we had very little luck with it around here. There is one company in the area that does it, and the rest are online (which I am less comfortable with). If this company doesn't make it work, I'm not sure where to look. :confused3 And we don't feel like we have a lot of time. God help any students moving out of their city, this is hard enough while staying IN town!

Have a fantastic day! :goodvibes

We had a horrible year this year. The sugar content in the sap was very low compared to previous years which means it took a lot more sap to make a gallon of syrup. Because we had to boil longer we got much darker syrup this year too. It looks like we will have to buy syrup from a local distrubitor in bulk and repackage it just to fulfill orders that we have. You just never know. This is the second bad year in a row. I sure hope that next year is better.

Deb

Deb -- I am so sorry to hear that. I was afraid when I heard the story that you might have had problems, too. I hope you can get a really good price for the syrup when you repackage it and that the process goes as well as possible.

A 20 pound turkey, fresh green beans, baby carrots with maple glaze, corn, mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy. We sent them home with left overs and she promised to make a turkey pot pie for us. She asked if I've ever made one and of course I said "Does it look like I have Martha freakin Stewart stamped on my forehead?" We laughed!! (its true, but we laughed!)

Wow! That is some meal to cook to say you aren't a Martha freakin Stewart type. Sounds delicious. My MIL made ham, hash brown delight, corn, peas, & broccoli. Very simple but delicious meal. As she gets older, her cooking has declined but she would try new things. We'd end up choking them down. She won't let others help. It was nice that she did just a simple but delicious meal.

Most of you who have been on here for a while and especially the past few months will probably remember that my Mom has been steadily declining in health. Well, tonight she died. It was not really unexpected nor sudden, but it hurts, nonetheless. Bob and I were going to PA to visit her and his parents this coming Friday. I guess we will be going sooner now. Please keep my brother in Boston and my sister in Allentown in your thoughts as we all all be traveling at some time this week.

Elin -- you are in my thoughts and prayers, as is the rest of your family. :grouphug: to you all for peace and safe travels.
