Okay Kristine - here is what I figured out for you -

without an AP
3 day Park hopper in May $235
10 day Park Hopper in Dec $266
Total in Tickets $501
Add 8 days in Sept $260 for $761

with an AP
AP $441
Base Dec ticket $61 (which you can use in the future for an upgrade)
Total in Tickets $509
add 8 days in Sept for base ticket $61 for total of $570

plus you get free parking
and 10% discount at WOD
15% tour discounts
10% off at select restaurants

I don't even think getting an AP rate in December matters - you are still ahead of the game on your tickets - AND it would make it a lot easier to think about squeezing in another weekend before it expires!!!

Kristine - That's even simpler than I was working on, but it looks good in iteself. Has Kate answered your questions enough or were you trying to look deeper?

Our favorite MOD just emailed me this: and it just seems so appropriate for all of us!!

This should probably be taped to your bathroom mirror where one could read it every day. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.

1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.
4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
6. You mean the world to someone.
7. You are special and unique.
8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
10. When you think the world has turned its back on you take another look.
11. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.

So.....If you are a loving friend, send this to everyone, including the one that sent it to you. If you get it back, then they really do love you.

And always remember....when life hands you Lemons, ask for tequila and salt and call me over!

OK...bear with me, I have an AP:
...I am using it in May...
do not end up going in Sept....
go for sure in Dec. let's say there is no AP rate...so, I would be doing base tickets for everyone....upgrading when I get there the other 4 tickets so I can get the dining plan. I keep the one base ticket of mine...and then use the ap for myself to get into the parks...all this said & done, with this scenario, I am still ahead with the AP by about $120? is this correct?

How is our favorite MOD? I know things were pretty rough for her for awhile. Does anyone know if things have improved at all for her or do we need to keep sending pixie dust & keep her in our prayers?

Ok. Not only am I addicted to this board but now I'm addicted to my Pal Mickey. I think I'm definitely going through my second childhood! :rotfl: Told you guys I wasn't old! I have been buying clothes & accessories for him since I've returned from my trip. :earsboy: Now that my girls are older they won't let me dress them up and show them off. What's worse is I want Disney to come out with a Pal Minnie so I can dress a girl 'cuz there are so many cuter clothes for girls. :earsgirl:

I am creating a webpage for my Pal Mickey. I've always wanted to play with webpages but am not ready to create one for the family (too many pictures to scan yet). Here is the link to the beginning of the webpage and a link to his pictures. Don't worry I'm being careful not to spend too much so that it interferes with my DVC plans!!!! :rotfl2:

I just wanted to take this time to thank my DDA friends for listening to my ramblings, helping keep me motivated to keep making positive life changes including my weight loss and organizing my office, increasing my Disney obsession including DVC, inspiring me to use my creativity in designing and other areas of my life and just for being there. You are a great bunch of people and I'm happy to call you friends.
As Denise said, now on to 10,000 (I got a lot farther to go though). :rotfl2:
Congrats on your personal milestone. I like your design, too.

I modified one of my t-shirt designs for the 1000 post.

It is my favorite design for myself. Pal Mickey and I will be wearing matching shirts for our Dec. trip. I might get Chuck into one as well.

I loved everyone's trips down memory lane, so I did one too. I figured out though, that I don't know where the rest of my pics from my honeymoon are though.:(

Anyway, this is Craig and I leaving the church in July, 1993. Goodness that dress did nothing for my figure (I had one back then ;) ) :

And to show what Disney freaks we are, this is Craig and my cousin Billy showing off their Mickey socks:

I took this on the tram thingys (my mind is drawing a blank on their real name right now) that you went from one part of the park to the other in the air.

Alrighty...I seem to have lots of Tea Cup pictures so I guess we'll have a progression of the tea cup pics. The ones with my sister in them were taken at WDW and the others were from DL.

Amy check-out the counter space in the kitchen.
You should have no problem selling, Jo. Your house looks beautiful, and I particularly like your landscaped yard.

We are doing a DVC rental and are considering adding on the Dining Plan. Have any of you ever done this?

Yes I did and it was a very difficult decision of which one to buy. I still have to fine a cute bonnet and a little purse for her (she is such a girl). Can you believe they didn't have any bonnets at Belk? She said they never got any in.

Thank you all so much for making me feel loved and less neurotic. You're compassion for my family is overwhelming, and you've got me in tears. i think I may switch back to December. I just couldn't live with myself if I put Rees at even a bigger disadvantage. And, we'll get the GAC again which helps tremendously with crowds and lines. I don't like the crowds, but we can work around them by going EARLY and using TGM.

I'm still going to hold on to both ressies for a while, but I think I know which way I'm leaning. Thanks again.

I'm still 100 pages behind, but something you wrote made me pause. I vote for December. The triplets get sick a lot. Ears, throats, tummy. They will miss a lot of school for these reasons. I'm afraid if you pile on another 5 days, they will miss too much.

Plus, and I say this with as much love as I can muster...   Denise, you know how much you love Christmas!!!     And I think having 11 days to unwind from the Christmas trip will be just what the doctor ordered..... :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes for all of you....

Plus, let's be honest. How many of the DDA came back from a trip to Disney and got sick????? :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 The 5 days would turn into 2 weeks..... The stress is not worth it.

Plus, you know how much you love Disney all decked out!!!

I love you and will support you whichever choice you make.

Doesn't surprise me. I don't see them around here like we had in PA

Well, look at this. Who knew I would come home and catch up just in time to get:

:cheer2: :cheer2: 18,000 :cheer2: :cheer2:

Ok, so I know I put all of you designers to shame, but this is the best that I can do.
