We've done the same thing with our kids every Easter when we go home to my mom and dad's. Here is my walk down memory lane.

And in another week or so I will have another one.

Awwwwwwwww

Ok, I have an AP question too (I just want to be like Kristine). If I upgrade our 10day PH tickets in December, do I upgrade the first day I use the ticket, or when I have one ticket left? And then the APs would be good for a year from that date? Would they deduct the cost of the 10day PH, or just the cost of the one day PH that would be left?

If I did it on our last day, Dec 23, then I definitely could fit another Christmas trip in next year on the same APs and save a lot of money, especially if I took the kids for 4 days another trip too.

I am quite pleased with myself right now. I took a photo (non-digital) that was taken of me, my son and my daughter at Innoventions about 5 years ago and scanned it in (new with the scanner), then downloaded software that allowed me to resize it (never did that before) and then made it into my new avatar and it worked!!!

WTG, June. That's a beautiful picture. You don't look any different now then you did 5 years ago! (FYI, remember I got to meet her at Disney over Christmas. It was fun!)

I just wanted to say thank you to the DIS and the DDA for fueling my Disney addiction, my Diet Coke addiction, allowing me to have a place to celebrate and cry without being judged, and giving me a home away from home. This is a wonderful group of women and men, and I'm proud to be a DDA! I love you all very much.

Now, on to 10,000!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :cheer2:

:faint: :faint: :faint: Huh?? :rotfl2:

I am still trying to figure things for myself. I spoke to 2 CM's who said no AP concierge in the month of December...I wish I could find a cm who I felt confident in their information...

Thanks Denise. There are a lot of people who refuse to believe that I will be 62 in June. Good genes, I guess.

Congrats on 5,000 posts!!

Julie -

I sent you a pm but in case you miss it-

DH and I have decided that I should just not worry about the Delta ticket and book on Airtran for the outgoing flight - there is one that leaves at 8:00 am out of Dayton and is non-stop!!! If Delta strikes - I can get that ticket refunded - if not then I am out $50 change fee and can just have a Delta credit for the ticket

My only hitch is if my MIL will take the kids all day - and if you could go that early -

PM me!!!

That's a good idea, hope it all works out for you guys!!! We have Delta ticket to Vancouver in September and I'm hoping and praying they are around for it!!!!

I need to shed at least 50 pounds for fabulous!!! (But I'm working on it)

I think I can answer this... When you upgrade from a hopper to an AP the first day you used the hopper is the initial day of your AP. So, if your first day is December 17, your AP would be valid through midnight December 17, 2007. Also, I do believe they will apply the entire cost of your hopper towards the cost of the AP.

Hope I got this right!

I was so shocked by the size of the dorm rooms...<mouth hanging open> I am sure I must have looked crazy...I just could not believe that 2 stinky guys can live in such close proximity of one another. The whole dorm building smelled of feet!!! :scared1: :crazy2: :scared: :faint:

Yucky at least you don't have to live there!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

YAY, June! And I agree that you do NOT look like you are 62.

I don't know if it will show how crowded things were very well, but here is his dorm room from last year. He also decided he needed a couch, which he got for $5 at the salvation army. It actually didn't look too bad from the picture, but I never saw it in person, so who knows :confused3

Thanks to everyone for the comment on my pic. John says it is the absolute best picture of me he's ever seen! He said I was so happy cause I was at Disney and had the biggest Diet Coke on the planet. He actually has that picture framed on his desk.

We talked tonight about my "addiction". I told him I wanted to start taking the kids for a few days each Spring Break or summer by myself (he doesn't get that much vacation time), and did he think that was ok. He said it was great 'cause they love Disney as much as me. So, I think I may upgrade our tickets to APs when we go in December. That way I could go back at the end of school for a couple of days and possibly squeeze in another trip in the fall/Christmas.

I am planning on doing the same thing, from Dec I get 20 days vacation and DH being in his own business finds it more difficult to take time - Not that I feel bad for him he is cruising for 3 weeks this year besides our Vegas and skiing trip earlier in the year!!!

Guess it gives them more floor space for desks, couches etc.
