That is awesome! I love it! You should design more often. Forget the job and the schoolwork! Just spend your time designing for your DDA friends!

Congratulations on the 2000.

:scared1: OMG.....prayers that he is on the mend.

He was finally released from the hospital yesterday. He's doing much better, but it really has sobered him up. He thought that it was going to be a walk in the park for him, and he's now facing reality. I don't think that he was really straitforward with his doctor; didn't tell them about his condition, didn't tell them that he has sleep apnea, etc. etc., I feel badly that he's been struggling, but you have to be truthful with your doctors.

By the way, Kate - did you already see your doctor about your knee? If so, how did it go?

What about the allergy tests for Alyssa, Tammi? Everything ok?

And this is a problem..... how???

Sometimes men are just a little slower to realize how great an idea is.... sorry Hunka!!

Haven't we all decided that Hunka is the exception to every husband rule? In a good way, I mean. :)

We did CP at 4:10PM. When we finished which was around 5:15 or 5:30 we were let into adventureland. That is where we were selected to be in the parade. We were hanging out by the Tiki Fountains. We were selected around 6 PM which was before the party even officially started!! If anyone seriously wants to be in the parade I would definately suggest and early ADR.

Deb

Thanks for the info, Deb. I'm glad I got the 4:20pm ADR for LTT!

I started reading your TR it is really good, I love reading TR's it helps pass the time in between trips!!!

I am also almost to a personal milestone the big 300, which really isn't that big but considering I have been on for over a year it is big in my book!!! I think at least 200 have been from the last couple of weeks on this board!!!

We did bfast at CP. Actually it was Nicholas' bday bfast. I'd recommend it. They only complaint I have is that the lines for the buffet were really long. But the food and character interaction was good.

Tammi,

How long did b'fast take and what time was your ADR?

We really don't care for the food at Donald's, but I know you have a big Doanld fan at your house so that one may be tough to eliminate. I agree about going to LTT for dinner instead of CP- CP has a great breakfast! We will be trying LTT dinner for the first time at MVMCP.

I know Donalds doesn't get the best reviews, but you are right that I have a HUGE Donald Duck fan. I have CP booked for an early b'fast and dinner. I'll decide closer to our trip which one to cancel.

That is so funny!!! I never put 2 & 2 together before. I'll have to ask my mom about that! They were married in December and I was born the next November. My mother turned 19 the week after I was born!

They were really, really happy that I was born after midnight on November 16 (6:17am). My dad had started a new job and the insurance didn't take effect until November 16. Hunting season in Michigan starts on November 15 so dad had been out hunting early the morning of the 15th. Mom didn't want to wake him up when she went in labor. Silly woman!!!! If I was awake, I expected my DH to be awake!!!

Hunting is very BIG in Michigan. November 15th is a U.P. national holiday as it is opening day. The schools shut down for the day. There are so many students & teachers that hunt that they had trouble meeting their quota some years so they just stopped fighting it.

Hunting is big here in Utah, too. Our deer hunt begins in October, and most school districts used to calendar in the "deer hunt" holiday. However, several years ago, many teachers complained across the state, so they cancelled it. Then, too many students were out (hunting, of course), so the district decided to leave the holiday in, rename it "harvest holiday" (lots of farmers here as well), and that seemed to make everyone happy.

In college, my roommates and I used to buy rubber dart guns and sit outside the sporting goods store to go "deer hunter hunting." It was fun, and luckily all the hunters found it funny as well.

Now, DH can't wait until Jacob is old enough to go hunting with him and my brother. They do the deer hunt, elk hunt, muzzle loader hunt, and have done the bow hunt as well. I hate the hunting part, but I love the freezer full of meat that it gives me through the winter.

Yes that is a good time! Last year we arrived at the park at 4pm & got right in. Our seatings for LTT were at 4:30pm & we were seated within minutes. I noticed it got busier as we were there & I am sure seating times were a little bit more of a wait. I think the earlier seatings are best, you get out & can enjoy the park before the actual party starts. We had a late night snack as the park was closing at Caseys. It was nice to wind down & watch everyone leave the park. I think we were about the last ones to leave lol You will love it & so will your children!

Thanks for the tips! I'm really excited about trying LTT before the party.

Thanks for asking. Last night was the first night he slept through the night. Now BK and I both have it. It feels like it's turning into bronchitis (and Rees has a barky cough) so I'm probably off to the doctor with everyone tomorrow. We just went to the library and checked out 45 books. Did I mention my kids LOVE for me to read to them? Then we got Wendy's for lunch. DH is working late, so I may take them out to dinner and to get ice cream tonight. If they feel better by the end of the week, I may try to go to the new GA Aquarium or to the Zoo.

:wizard: That you all feel better so you can do fun stuff before everyone goes back to school.

I can't believe you checked out 45 books!!! Aren't you worried about losing some around the house? :goodvibes

Vicki-you mentioned a few days ago about wanted to do DVC because there were still things you haven't done at WDW. Well, I'm about to take my 13th & 14th trips and my list of things that I haven't done is HUGE:

I haven't done any of the shows-Hoop de do, La Nuba, Polynesian thing (can't spell it). We did LaNouba this year - awesome! The Hoop De Do & Luau are on my list.

I've never taken a behind the scenes tour and lots sound great. We did the Keys to the Kingdom last year. You have to be at least 16 and Becky was just that. My DH is a civil engineer so he loves all the planning, designing that goes into making the magic happen. There are others I want to do - the Segway one is high on the list.

I've never gone to Disney Quest or either water park. We have done Disney Quest and both water parks. We didn't spend enough time at Disney Quest so need to get back there to really experience it.

I've never done any other non Disney park in Orlando. On my list as well.

I've gots lots of places I've never eaten and even the ones I've eaten at have things I haven't tried. WCC is high on my list. There are others that I want to try but need to when it is just DH & I as my girls aren't very experimental.

I've never had a Dole Whip (but have had pineapple and vanilla twist soft serve), never had a made to order icecream sandwhich at Main St Bakery. Dole Whip is on my list with the Kitchen Sink. Never heard of the made to order ice cream sandwich so now that is added to my list.

Never had any exotic drink. :drinking1 My list too with just DH & I.

Lots of resorts I want to visit. Lots & lots are left on my list!!! So far we've only seen the Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge and Port Orleans.

Lizzy wants to try mini golf. Not sure about this one for us but would like to see the mini golf courses.

The kids have never been on the Epcot Energy ride, Honey I shrunk the audience, Bugs Life, Rafiki's Planet Watch, Indian Jones, Great Movie Ride, WWTBAM, ..... These are all awesome and we need to do many again.

I've never been on EE or Space Mnt. We did these last trip and EE is on my list for next trip as well.

I've never riden BTM at night. That is awesome. Also if you haven't been to the top of Swiss Family Robinson at night, it is a gorgeous view of the park. DH & I want to do both again.

I've never rented a bike, boat or mouseboat or gone horse back riding. Add parasailing and you have my list. Add fishing excursion and you have my DH's.

I can't wait to go in May for the first time and see the Flower Fest but I've never been for New Years, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas. :teeth: I also think I want to add the marathons to my list. I want to do them all by the time I'm 50.

I just can't imagine I could ever say that I've seen it all. I never understand why people think that one trip to Disney is all you need!!!!

Wow! When you actually list it out like that, there is a lot left to see & do. See my comments in bold above.

There is so much to see!!!! Chuck is home for lunch and we are discussing DVC. I've looked up some things for him that he had questions about. I have a HiltonHonors card because I travel for work so much. It gives me HH points plus American Airlines miles. Between the two, it looks like I may have two free airline tickets.

We just refinanced our home equity loan and the line was upped because of all the improvements we have made on the house - we currently have $20000 line of credit open on it. It is at 7% interest which is better than the 9.75% for Disney financing.

He wasn't interested in doing it this year but knows it is important to me so is willing to keep looking at it. My next step is putting our yearly budget together. I've already showed him what it will cost us (and where we'll see savings if we purchase). Now I have to show him we have money in our budget for at least two trips a year.

He is such a great husband! Of course, I don't ask for much. I've never been one for fancy things and we've never really taken vacations until we started doing Disney. I didn't get a honeymoon (and next year is our 25th) so I may play that card if I have to. I really want to do something special for that and with DVC we can stay at Mackinac Island at the Grand Hotel which is something else I'd love to do!!!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed plus making sure I have all the numbers together. We only have one trip left with Becky. She graduates next year and I've told her that this will be the last trip for her for awhile. Katrina doesn't want to go next year (she'd rather hang with her friends over spring break). That is more savings that I've shown Chuck.

No, we keep them all in one big library book bag, and they are all marked with a sticker from the library.

Alicia,

Prayers for Mr. Wilson and Erich. Let us know how he's doing.

Baloo- Prayers for Mr. Wilson, his family and your family. I do hope you have some good news to tell us soon.
