I've been MIA for a while now. So much going on at home trying to get the girls bedrooms done and our basement painted. My sister and her DD moved out in November but I have had no desire to attack that room until now. Of course I now want it done for Molly's birthday party on the 8th. My great aunt passed away last week, she was 97, so we had the viewing and funeral this past Sunday and Monday. Not to mention all the normal household chores and soccer practices and games. And we have all had lurgy at some point or the other. Clare, did I get it right? My SIL and BIL are moving to England the beginning of July as the Air Force is transferring them over there, so it will be nice to know some of the English slang when we manage to finally get over there.

Sorry to hear about all the hard times some of the families have had. Here's hoping time will make things a little easier.

Hope everyone that is still sick gets better soon. I for one am glad that spring has finally sprung!!!

There was one bit I think they could have done differently... when they finished singing for the call back and it cuts back to the gym and you briefly see the board and they're a point behind with seconds to go... I was shouting for Troy to score, but when he threw the ball I wished they'd slowed it all down, show the board, show the ball... will it go in... is there enough time...? Then speed things up as the ball drops in and the buzzer goes and everyone cheers!!!!

Just thought they could've added a bit of anticipation

hey Kristin we have a few things in common. we both like baseball, both have 2 year olds and were both born in the same year.

My dad has been out of town for almost two weeks and just got home - the kids were dying to see him so once Julia hit her 24 hour period - we went to meet him for dinner -

I had to run in 2 stores and she begged to go with me - which I reluctantly agreed to -

we went in old navy first and she danced to the music playing the whole way through the store

then she saw a full length mirror and that was it - she stood in front of it admiring herself and wiggling her little hips

I dragged her away from the mirror and headed to TJ Maxx - we walked past the dresses and she begged to try one one - we ended up picking out 12 and headed to the dressing room - she puts on the first one - that was an a-line and was REALLY poofy from the bustline down -

my 4 yo looks at me and says - Mom - this won't do - it makes my hips look big - it is beside the point that she was absolutely correct but where did she hear this - Hannah Montana - her brother said it last week We had a whole discussion that she did not need to worry about how her hips looked b/c she was just perfect - I know that this is a very serious issue - but she really doesn't need any more boosting in the self image department!!!!

so then a dress or two later - she belts out the words "if you wanna be my lover..." I was mortified and asked "WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT SONG?!!?" "Chicken Little"

here I thought I was providing my children nice wholesome programming and that is what she takes away from them!! It is going to be a long 16 years!!!

Too funny! Every bit of it, but my favorite part is "she stood in front of it admiring herself and wiggling her little hips". She's adorable, Kate

The cast of "High School Musical" were just on GMA singing "We're All In This Together". The boys Troy & Chad could not have been cuter!!! They kept going into the audience and singing w/ the little girls, so cute!!!I feel bad that I didn't think of taping it for DD!

Does anyone rember if Ryan Evans used to be on Full house when he was little? That has been bugging me ever since I saw it the first time, not a weekly character, but a friend of one of the girls on the show....
