Neat! Love her pics!

Never heard of them. What do they do?

Thanks!

Robyn - I'm so sorry you had a stressful day. Don't apologize for venting here. That's what friends are for. :goodvibes: Emma's artwork is terrific!

Janet - I hope you like your new washer, even though it was hard to part with the money. Trust me, I know the feeling.

Well, the boys are here and playing quietly. Pizza is on it's way. Bob took Alyssa to ballet for me, and his dd is with them. He will stop and pick up the cake on the way home. Bethany will be here to keep Alyssa entertained. :thumbsup2

:wave2: Stephanie! I can't wait to hear what the surprise is! :goodvibes

Thanks! Sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate Nicholas' birthday. We are having the grandparents, aunt, cousin and some close friends and their kids over tomorrow for Emma's party. It's 11 kids not counting Lucy. I yearn for the day for a small party.

What an artist you have!!

Your upside down day seems to be righting itself pretty well. You need to slow down a bit though please...your pace scares me.

Thanks! And I promise to slow down in February ;) Honestly though this is how it's been since Emma was born so even though it stresses me out I'll be fine. :goodvibes

Here's the link to the story that ran this morning on our kids and their guests.

Abi and I are on our own for supper...have to see what she wants to eat and then at 8 our time we are going to watch the Parade of Lights on TV and I think she will be sleeping with me tonight. :goodvibes

Wonderful!!! Sounds like a nice evening with Abi.

Beautiful!

Thanks!

Wonderful news! Hope you all enjoy the movie.

The movie was wonderful! I loved it. Emma and her girlfriend giggled through out it. Molly got scared at the end and my mom dozed off. I would see it again and again.

Stephanie,

I truly know everyone will be surprised on Sunday. Cannot wait to hear how it goes:goodvibes

Spill the beans woman! Steffy, have a magical time sharing the magic.

Have a great evening all, I need to get ready for work!

Don't work to hard!:goodvibes

hmmmm...worked fine for me earlier and just now.
:confused3

The same site is streaming the parade live. I am such a proud band mama!!:cloud9:

Awww

Wow. I'm really surprised at all the DDA non-coffee drinkers. Chuck & I also don't drink coffee. I love the smell of it but can't stand the taste. I am a pepsiholic though. I have a pepsi within 5 feet of me within 10 minutes of getting up in the morning and within 10 minutes before I go to bed.

Love coffee and would absolutely not be able to function without it. I've been drinking it since I was 5. My grandmother would make a cup of instant coffee and spoon it into a cup for me.

we are under a winter storm watch...predicting 1-3 inches...bad part is that they are also predicting ice...it's about 25 degrees here now.

Yikes, our van read 34 when we came out from the movies. Brrrr.

Wow! Beautiful!

Have a wonderful time!!!!!!!

Very nice!!

Thanks!

I will cross my fingers that accuweather is correct...I am not ready for this yet. I still haven't bought boots for the children

I don't know why but this struck me funny. :goodvibes Like you have a hundred children waiting for boots or something.

The kids helped me wrap their cousins presents. We all watched Polar Express...I love that movie.

We have the winter storm watch here too for late Saturday into Sunday.

I am so not looking forward to that.

Well since I did not spill the beans about Deb and Chris coming down to WDW in October, I will not do it this time either :lmao: :lmao:

Ya'll will just have to wait.

Neener, Neener, Neener :rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao:

Do any of you have a digital key chain? I was thinking of getting one...but there a ton of them out there ranging in prices...

I bought one last year at BJs I was disappointed. The screen is so small that you can barely see the photos and it fell off the keychain within a month or so.

I am addicted to diet cherry pepsi. I also start and end my day with Pepsi

Chuck & I pay extra every month on our mortgage. We made sure it was set at something that we knew we could handle if something happened to us for a short time (like on of us losing our job). Then we pay extra to cut off the length of time on the loan. That way we can still pay it off sooner but we are in a better situation if an emergency arises.

That sounds very wise. I'm still debating. If I cut down to 20 years the rate will be lower and the payment won't be much more so that may make sense.

We are expecting snow too and it is very cold. They are predicting 1 - 12 inches. Nothing like an accurate prediction :rotfl:

That is amazing! That just started happening to my washing machine last week-end. It doesn't happen every time but 2 loads out of 8 came out dripping wet and I had to respin. I only had to respin each load once so I am hoping it lasts through the new year anyway.

Mine does that from time to time when I over fill it. If I keep my loads smaller I don't have that issue and they dry much quicker too.

I think I may have forgotten to post about my Wonky morning yesterday. We were running late as we left to pick up Logan to bring Colby to school. As we were driving to the first school we went pass a car limping down the side of the road ON a flat tire. As I passed I recognized the driver as a grandmother that picks up her grandson from Kindergarten each day. It was cold and rainy so I pulled over and had her park her car and loaded her and her younger grandson into my car and took them to school. She was so stressed over the whole situation. She lives in the town that Colby goes to school in so we took Colby to school then I brought her home. Needless to say Colby was about 10 minutes late for school, but I just couldn't leave her on the side of the road. I also believe in good Karma so hopefully It will come around or maybe it already has :goodvibes

I worked tonight and we have been very slow for weeks now. I was in our smaller dining room tonight. We do our larger parties in that room, leaving the main dining room for smaller parties. I knew that we had a party of 34 scheduled for tonight and I was determined to work even though I felt less than perfect. There were 2 of us in the room and we work together and pool tips. We ended up doing 41 people and we each left with $250 in our pockets after tipping out. Needless to say it was a GREAT evening. I am so happy that I went in. You just never know.

We need to get them together sometime. I'm sure Alyssa and Molly would get along great too.

That would be great.

I am headed to bed. My cupcakes are done and I need to be up early to pick up the house and get a few errands done.

Night all!

Well, I think everyone is asleep. Alyssa and Bethany are in her bed, the 3 boys are in the living room on the floor, and Bob is in the formal living room on the couch. I'm in my bed all comfy! Nicholas was a little leary sleeping downstairs so Bob volunteered to camp out a safe distance away from him. All in all the night went well. The girls played great together, and the boys played Pokemon cards (I so don't get that game) and video games most of the night.

We have such a big day tomorrow. In the morning there is a pancake breakfast at the school that we will go to after the boys get picked up. They also have a holiday shop at school so the kids can go 'shopping'. Then in the afternoon Nicholas and Alyssa each have birthday parties to go to. Bob volunteered to take Nicholas to his, while I take Alyssa to hers. I had told their dad about it last week to give him the opportunity to step up to the plate. Needless to say, it didn't happen. Then tomorrow night is our annual Christmas parade. Somewhere in there I think we all are going to need naps!

Wow, Deb! You really made out tonight! I always say..."what comes around goes around." Good for you! I'm sure the lady was very appreciative.

When I was on my way home from work today I saw a disabled motorist standing outside of his vehicle holding out jumper cables, trying to get someone to stop and give him jump. It was on I95, a divided hwy., and I was on the other side of the divider, but I felt so bad for the guy. People were just whizzing on by. I hope he didn't have to wait too long for help.

We are supposed to get that bad weather in our area on Sunday. I'm not ready for it!

I should be in bed, but my third shifter mind is telling me no!

I have to brag on Leighanna. She now knows how to tie her own shoes, and she can READ! She has taken to it so fast! It seems like just last week she was just learning, and now she is reading much harder words and very long sentences. I guess no spelling things out to my wife anymore! Leighanna will be able to decipher it!

To everyone leaving soon, safe travels. I hope the weather holds out for everyone! We are supposed to have rain mixed with sleet tomorrow, but they are not calling for anything too horrible.

We have breakfast with Santa in the morning at Leighanna's school, and then they have a shop set up with low priced things for Leighanna to purchase. They really shouldn't do this this far away from Christmas. I know that Leighanna can't keep secrets, and will be telling all that she got!

Have a great evening all!
