I have a favor to ask of all my DDA friends.
I have a couple of new listings on EvilBay, and if any of you could, please add them to your watch list.
Apparently the more watchers you have the more free exposure you have.:confused3 At least that is what I have been told.

I can't direct link it here, but you can search for it under my id name!

Thanks!

Tammi, you're freaking me out! I didn't even realize I was in single digits  I have no clue whether I'm doing the dining plan or OOP. This trip is such a strange one! :rotfl:
When do you leave, and where are you staying this time?

In 35 hours I'll be at Disney. I go to Disney tomorrow.

WOOHOO!! :dance3:

In the words of our beloved Stephanie.......

10 MORE DAYS PEOPLE, 10 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!

WOOHOO!! :dance3:

Good Morning DDA!

Karen, I don't know if anyone did this for you yet, but I gave it a try.

I am sure that Beth or Kevin, who are Photoshop pros, could do a better job!

You did a great job on that pic! I'm watching you! ;)

Hi DDA!

I went five days cold turkey without the computer while we were in Huron, and I've pretty much sworn off the computer since our return, because

WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY TOMORROW!!!

Kevin didn't design a single t-shirt  and I returned my autograph book to Winkflash for a reimbursement (the pictures were dark...very disappointing). I ended up making Alyssa a coloring book autograph book instead. We're only partially packed, but I still have 30 hours to pull it together. ;)

Bernadette, thank you for Matthew's postcard...it arrived while we were out of town. :)

I hope Lindsay is having a fabulous time, and I hope Stephanie, Tammi, and Jennifer, Janet, Elizabeth, and Kristine (I hope I didn't forget anyone) have magical trips!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Jen, I am so sorry about your Grandpa. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

:wave2: to everyone else!

The kids and I are meeting Jennifer for lunch today. I'll give her a big congratulations hug on behalf of us all. :goodvibes

Take care, everyone! :grouphug:

Love your new car, Terry. We have been looking at cars too, and the Saturn ION is one we have been considering. Is your car one of those with the dashboard instruments off to the right of the steering wheel? If so, do you like it??

Elin,

Yes it is closer to the center. It was weird when I test drove it, but now it is like I have always had it that way. It looks white during the day but darkens at night.

They also have it that when you drive at night, the rear view mirror slightly darkens, meaning like when you flip it yourself when the headlights behind are really bright. I love the outside temp guage and compass on it too.

:cool1: :cool1: You have plenty of time to pull it together :cool1: :cool1:

If you like challenging, you should definitely try the Fairway Course at Fantasia Gardens. It's not really themed (except the names of the holes, but no whimsical dancing hippos or anything! ;)) but it's literally touted as a golf course with all Par 3 holes. There are long fairways, lots of hazards, etc. It's definitely different, but a lot of fun! We liked Fantasia Gardens better overall than Winter Summerland. The other course, though, is probably only a couple steps above WS.

Good to know. We'll have to give that a try next summer. We have competition issues in our family :lmao:

Terri, the car looks great! Congratulations! :goodvibes

Steffy, have a WONDERFUL trip!

Single Digits :cool1: :cool1: I'm sure this will be a slower paced trip this time. Hopefully a chance to reconnect and relax :cool1:

30 hours...Get moving girl. We'll be here when you get back and we'll want a full report ;)

I cannot tell all of you how jealous we are. Everytime we see pictures of the castle lit up we really want to go, but alas it can't happen this year. We are considering moving our fall trip next year from Oct to November just to see the lights :rolleyes1 I should check out availability.

I called our Mortgage officer this morning. Rates have dropped over the last couple of weeks and I wanted to see where we were at rate wise. I have been watching the rates for months and we are finally seeing a nice change. I am so on the fence. The rate now is a tiny bit lower than our current soon to be variable rate and it is a fixed rate :cool1: We can also cut 2 years off our mortgage for about $20 more a month which is a no brainer. For an extra $150 per month we can cut 7 years off the mortgage. There are so many things to consider and I'm such a bargain hunter I hate to lock in when there is potential for another drop. I would love a rate under 6 %. Any advice out there? Clare are you reading? Aren't you a mortgage person now? HELP

I think it looks great, Tom!

Tom, great job on the pic of Shocker!:thumbsup2
I added your items to my watch list. I am staying away from Evil Bay these days, but I am happy to watch your items any time you have listings!:)

Have a great trip!!:santa:

Amy, have fun!!
Stephanie, you have fun, too!!

Heidi - I will let you know what we think of the Crystal Palace lunch! I am sure it will be good.:) DS said the band teacher told them their items should arrive today, so HOPEFULLY I will have your magnets this afternoon.

DS is REALLY upset about the scratch on his face. It is at least 3 inches long and goes from his eye to his mouth. It looks pretty bad.:guilty: I am going to Target today so I will get some Neosporin to put on it. If it looks like it will scar I will buy some Mederma. I still have a mark on my leg where Arabella scratched me MONTHS ago, but she was jumping on my lap and slid off so my scratch might be deeper than DS's. DH was in bed when it happened, so I called him and told him he needs to be NICE to DS and not imply that it was his fault. I don't know what happened, but if it WAS DS's fault he feels bad enough already.:sad2:

I have you on my Evil Bay watch list!:)

Have a great trip!!:santa:

Amy & Stephanie - I hope you both have FABULOUS trips!!:goodvibes

Heidi - I heard a rumor that I will have the magnets you ordered later today. We shall see!:rolleyes1

DS is REALLY upset about the scratch on his face. It's at least 3 inches long - from his eye to his mouth.:guilty: I am going to get some Neosporin today. I am hoping it doesn't scar. I told DH to be nice to DS - I don't know exactly how it happened, but IF it was DS's fault he doesn't need DH yelling at him. He feels bad enough as it is.:sad2:

I'm considering going over Thanksgiving week next year. Yes, I must be , but short of taking Nicholas out of school for a week during an SOL year, that is my only option of being there with all the Christmas festivities.

I subscribe to the theory that you should never have your mortgage paid off, unless you want to pay Uncle Sam lots of $$$ at tax time.

Amy - have a wonderful trip.

Elizabeth - I hope DS's face heals nicely and that he isn't too self-conscious about it today. :wizard:

I just called and confirmed all of my ADRs. They are still there!

Done. :)
