I was thinking about para-sailing...fishing doesn't appeal to me or Bill so that's not on the list
That store (Teavana) really fed his obsession!!! $120 later!! :rotfl2:I was surprised how many college kids were in that store!

I really like adiago.com. They have a good selection

I think I have that same twitch.:rotfl:
The midday breaks are almost more than I can handle. But since we are so heavy into pin trading now I can tolerate the breaks better. It is a good chance for "lanyard maintenance". I can take off whatever "keepers" I found in the morning and add more traders. Then I can put the keepers on sheets of bubble wrap, label them according to owner, and put them away.

We usually do an "extra" thing like a tour, Lunch with an Imagineer, La Nouba, etc. but I am running out of those. Which means maybe parasailing would fit into the schedule. DH wants to do a fishing charter, but it is always so freaking HOT in August! He would love to do one in cool weather, but our cool weather trips are those little 72 hour jobs where there isn't enough time for anything.

Kristine - Do you guys have those "Teavana" shops? We have them at 2 different malls. Their tea is REALLY good, and they will custom blend it for you. Of course you would have to know what you like and what sort of taste you want before you went custom. Their samples are always yummy.

We are all settled in to watch Shrek the Halls and the Grinch.

DS and I don't fish, but DH loves it. If we chartered a boat I guess I would go just to go. I might or might not fish.;)
I've never bought anything at Teavana, just sampled. Oh, and I got a little guide to all their teas which I stuck in Princess's bag and still haven't managed to read.

Yeah I can see Kelli's new siggy picture. I like it.

Not just ears now! Yay!:cool1:

Jen -

Well, I think we are going to go with the 20 year insurance for DH. The premiums are higher but we lock in that rate instead of doing this again in 10 years. By the time he is 60 and this policy runs out we won't really need a big policy because DS will be grown up and out of college. (I hope.)

And we are grossly underinsured on our renters'. We inherited some things from DH's parents that we never use so I never really think about them. When I mentioned it to our agent she just ballparked a value on it. I did some research and she was very close - she was under by a little bit. I never really thought about a value on it. It is worth more than we realized.:scared: She suggested that we go room by room, piece by piece, and try to get a good feel for what it would cost to replace everything - clothes, furniture, electronics, everything. I am not looking forward to that task. But it is better to do it and adjust our coverage than to have a fire and find out we can only replace a quarter of what we lost.:scared1:

I'm going to Disney World in TWO WEEKS!!!:dance3:

I ordered Nicholas a 21" Delsey suitcase from Dillards, but I had to pay an extra $10 for express shipping to make sure it's here in time. Thanks for the info Elizabeth.
Do you split up your clothes so that if a bag is lost one person won't be without any clothes?

We are trying LTT this trip. We have not tried CP yet.
Not sure if I would get an ADR this close to the trip.

How is the breakfast at CP, if I could get an ADR there? I should add,
we are not really breakfast people. I am happy with cold cereal and
John skips it all week.
I enjoy breakfast and CP is my favorite so far at WDW. I have also been for lunch and dinner. Those meals are very good too.

no and now Jeff is starting to feel it.
:wizard: Hope the sickies leave your house soon!

:confused3 I wonder why?? I never had a problem before.

If all goes well for August I make my ADR's in Feb..I am already working on a possible plan. But without the DDP at least we can skip a few TS. Towards the end of the trip we tired of eating.
Could you make my plans while you're at it?;)

for starters we have never done any of the water-parks...so I want to do that in June...

never did Disney Quest...want to try that

want to try the mini golf place

I am thinking a little less park time in June, and more of the different activities...I would like to do Universal & Sea World too....more pool time

Less structured...sometimes I feel slaved to my schedule with all the ADR's etc...less of the feeling that we need to see it all...
That is what I'm hoping for in August. We've been wanting to try mini golf for a while but haven't made it. The kids only went in the pool twice last August. I'm hoping to go for 14 nights. We were there for 10 last August and it didn't seem like too much to me.

had pre-op appointment yesterday and they said they had to reschedule for next tuesday because i am a special case and doctor needs 2 hours instead of 1. so i did the pre-op and went to the hospital to register. mom kinda get pissed so the started frustrating me. she is mad because she wants it done before my dad gets all his tests and heart doctor appointments done. moday he goes in for tests and then thursday the doctor will tell him when. so i have surgery on tuesday and moms freaking because everything will be happening at once. i have to keep reminding her we have desirae and irena (Attendants) that are willing and able to help out. oh well. i get to wait another week and start freaking out. i'll be ok just send pixie dust and prayers next tuesday at 5am that i am calm and everything goes smoothly. surgery is at 7:30.

another thing... last week i had a boil and doc gave me antibiotic and i think it was what they had given me before and i think i might be getting hives again. it was a sulfa drug. if i am getting them then i know i am allergic to sulfa drugs. ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:wizard: Good luck with surgery, Mom and hives!

Very nice! Is that a Tink steering wheel cover?

Terry - Love the new car!!:goodvibes

Arabella just scratched DS the entire length of his face on one side.:sad2: For some reason she was in the bathrrom with him while he was brushing his teeth and she swatted at him when he leaned over. Really, I must have been smoking crack when I decided not to declaw her. That has to be one of the WORST decisions I have ever made.

Add me to the listof people who dont drink coffee!

Me too. Chris needs it interveniously, but I can't stand it :rotfl:

We were able to do more last summer. We had always made room for at least one trip to the water parks, but we fit in some other things too. We did Blizzard Beach twice and Typhoon lagoon once. We love them both, but would choose BB if we had to pick one. We played Winterland at Winter/Summerland. We play alot of mini golf whenever we camp and found the course to be ok, but nothing special. We've played better themed and more challenging courses many places. That being said we had a good time. Would we do it again? Maybe on a longer trip, but we would try Fantasia Gardens. We also tried Disney Quest for the first and second time. It was ok, but not what you'd expect from Disney. I thought my kids and dh would want to spend hours in there, but the set up is confusing and the lines can be long. I wouldn't pay extra to go there, but with it being included in the Premium Annual pass it would be a way to pass a rainy afternoon. The Cheesecake Factory is housed there and the desserts are phenominal.

We have done SeaWorld, Universal Studios and Busch Gardens over the years. We will go back, but we can space years between trips and not feel like we're missing anything. We are hoping to do a Universal Studios trip next
October. We have a reservation at the Royal Pacific Club level. Staying onsite at Universal gives you unlimited front of the lines priviledges. That will be nice. Since our PAPs will have expired I won't feel like I'm wasting WDW time. We are also hoping to his MNSSHP while we are there and Downtown Disney too. Hopefully this will be the best of both Worlds :thumbsup2

Terry We love the new car

You betcha. Plus I have Tink dice to hang on the rear view mirror

I have the same one and a Tink lanyard medallion hanging from the review mirror-dice would probably be better.;) Do you have a Tink antena topper? Do you have an antena on this car?

I'm still working on my Kodak Gallery stuff. I did 2 calendars-1 for my MIL with pictures of the kids and 1 for me with pictures of WDW. DH didn't like that I didn't have any kids in the pictures. It is for my office. I do have photos of the kids in my office. I was going for a different kind of look with this calendar.

I made a photo book for Mary K and lots of notecards for DH's sister and niece and some WDW ones for me and a Disney Freak at work.

I ordered prints for a calendar that takes 4x6 photos for my Mom, Emma's school pictures (only got them on CD), and lots of character photos. I'm still uploading August 07 character photos. Hope it finishes before midnight!!!!

Yes I do have an antenna. Right now I have a mickey head topper, but have not found a Tink one. I like the idea of a lanyard. I will have to get a tink one and maybe add some pins too. I have one of those tink head outlines in pink and one in blue. I will put one of those on the driver side back window.
