for starters we have never done any of the water-parks...so I want to do that in June...

never did Disney Quest...want to try that

want to try the mini golf place

I am thinking a little less park time in June, and more of the different activities...I would like to do Universal & Sea World too....more pool time

Less structured...sometimes I feel slaved to my schedule with all the ADR's etc...less of the feeling that we need to see it all...

Differently? How? Just curious.

We have water park tickets that we never managed to use, so hopefully we'll make it there next summer.
I am neutral on Disney quest - DS would love it but I have heard that it gets REALLY crowded and your wait for a turn can be worse than the queues in the parks.
We also want to try mini-golf.
In all of our trips DS has never gotten to go to the resort pool. I always mean for him to swim, but it never happens. I also looked at the section on Universal in my UG to see if we might want to go there.
I won't do fewer ADRs, but I do want to see and do other things. If we have 16 nights we can do that. If we have our usual little 9 nighter then I don't know what we will do. With only 9 nights I want to be in the park every single second because it goes by too fast for me.

Tammi, you changed too much at once! I can't ever figure out who you are posting!

I haven't been able to get away from that yet. No matter how short our vacations, I always try to see/do everything that we love, even when I know we will be back in a few months. Good luck with that.

had pre-op appointment yesterday and they said they had to reschedule for next tuesday because i am a special case and doctor needs 2 hours instead of 1. so i did the pre-op and went to the hospital to register. mom kinda get pissed so the started frustrating me. she is mad because she wants it done before my dad gets all his tests and heart doctor appointments done. moday he goes in for tests and then thursday the doctor will tell him when. so i have surgery on tuesday and moms freaking because everything will be happening at once. i have to keep reminding her we have desirae and irena (Attendants) that are willing and able to help out. oh well. i get to wait another week and start freaking out. i'll be ok just send pixie dust and prayers next tuesday at 5am that i am calm and everything goes smoothly. surgery is at 7:30.

another thing... last week i had a boil and doc gave me antibiotic and i think it was what they had given me before and i think i might be getting hives again. it was a sulfa drug. if i am getting them then i know i am allergic to sulfa drugs. ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know nothing of the mini golf down there. Is it something incredible or just a regular mini golf place? In my mind I can't justify mini golf while I'm at WDW. It's something that I can do at home.

Sorry!

ETA: Is it better now?

You didn't have to change anything, I just need to look more closely! I like having your ticker back though, I don't think I could see it before. Truthfully, it's all the avatar changes that throw me off more than anything -- but I love it! Don't go changing anything else! :rotfl:

We've done both courses at both locations (Winter Summerland and Fantasia Gardens) -- they are REALLY good courses, and we had a blast at all of them. If you enjoy mini golf anyway, they are really high quality. Great theming, well kept. It's a bit expensive, but only compared to ones around here. We have found that in Gatlinburg, other coastal cities, etc the nicer courses run around the same price. We will definitely be going back! Really, it's also just nice to do something "different" away from the parks. We started doing that a few trips ago, and really enjoy those evenings "away" almost as much as any of the rest of the trip! :goodvibes Of course, we have still yet to venture off property.... the most "away" we get is Disney property stuff like golf and Disney Quest, etc! :thumbsup2

ETA: Keep in mind you also get decent discounts as an AP holder and/or DVC member. Unfortunately, they can't be combined ;)

who knows if it will work for me..I may start twitching and have to revert to my old ways:rotfl2:

my soon to be 20 year old son has decided he is into tea!! I suppose it's better than last years phase of keg parties...

I was able to get an ADR for the tea over at the Grand Floridian for him and I. Hopefully the phase will last that long:)

I think I have that same twitch.:rotfl:
The midday breaks are almost more than I can handle. But since we are so heavy into pin trading now I can tolerate the breaks better. It is a good chance for "lanyard maintenance". I can take off whatever "keepers" I found in the morning and add more traders. Then I can put the keepers on sheets of bubble wrap, label them according to owner, and put them away.

We usually do an "extra" thing like a tour, Lunch with an Imagineer, La Nouba, etc. but I am running out of those. Which means maybe parasailing would fit into the schedule. DH wants to do a fishing charter, but it is always so freaking HOT in August! He would love to do one in cool weather, but our cool weather trips are those little 72 hour jobs where there isn't enough time for anything.

Kristine - Do you guys have those "Teavana" shops? We have them at 2 different malls. Their tea is REALLY good, and they will custom blend it for you. Of course you would have to know what you like and what sort of taste you want before you went custom. Their samples are always yummy.

Elizabeth, take some time even with only 9 days to do other things. The parks aren't going anywhere and you will be back.

We mostly stay 6 days, and we have done Universal Studios twice and Islands of Adventure once.
We have done Sea World once.
We have done both mini golf courses, but not Disney Quest (just not our thing).
We have also never gone to any of the clubs in DD (also not our thing).
