Congratulations Katie & Sophie!

Anne Marie that bites about your ADR, guess I better check mine before we go! Any reason why they cancelled it?

Marci sorry to hear your workload is so heavy now. :wizard: that it lightens up soon for you!

Tammi I would choose Panera, I am not not much of a coffee drinker myself :rolleyes1

Heidi the breakfast at CP is pretty good, but the characters make the meal :thumbsup2

Jennifer sorry to hear you are all feeling sick now, hope you are all better soon :wizard:

For those of you leaving soon :woohoo: I only have 3 weeks left & I am stressing just a little bit  The trip in Oct. was a breeze, I only had myself to worry about. With it being Christmas & the whole family going I feel like my to do/packing list is a mile long! But it will be worth it, this will probably be the last time Gary goes for a while & the last time for us going during Christmas.

Kristine I hope we can meet up at some point!

Thank you!!!

Nope, she gave no reason why it was cancelled. I had the confirm # & she said it wasn't there... Yes, check yours just to be safe.

this has happened several times to me now...:scared1:

:confused3 I wonder why?? I never had a problem before.

If all goes well for August I make my ADR's in Feb..I am already working on a possible plan. But without the DDP at least we can skip a few TS. Towards the end of the trip we tired of eating.

one of them was definitely their fault..they did not input it in right so it canceled out when it wasn't paid in full...even though I told them we were on the DDP...the others...I have no clue.

I am a little relieved to NOT be doing the DDP next year...I am not sure I can keep planning all these restaurants

Hey, I didn't even think about making it brunch, thanks. :)

Heidi - how about trying for one of the last breakfast seatings? Then it would be more like lunch. I'm not a breakfast person either. My stomach doesn't wake up until 3 hours later.

I haven't ever had an ADR cancelled. I had someone else's ADR on my ressie once. If they tried to confirm it I don't know if it would have come up or not.:confused3 The CM said to just leave it alone because there was no way to determine who it belonged to.

We only have 5 ADRs this time around. Hopefully none of them are messed up.

We love, love, love TS. I don't know that we will do a TS dinner every night when it is just DS and me, but when DH is with us we eat TS every night and about every other morning. Even when we have had DDP for 9 nights we ended up paying OOP for 3 or 4 TS breakfasts, and we paid OOP for one signature dinner so we wouldn't use up 2 credits on it. That's why the Deluxe DDP appeals to me, but not if DS is still wanting to order from the kids' menu and only eating half of the portion!

::yes:: I have tried coffee many different ways.
And for the most part I can't get past the smell. So having it brew in the morning for John, makes my stomach turn.

hate coffee??!!:eek::eek::eek::eek: :)

I tried to give it up once...my head almost IMPLODED

don't get me wrong...we really like TS as well...but the way things have worked out we are going:

October
December
February
June
October

I am hoping to do the last 3 trips a little differently...at least I hope to

do you like tea? sometimes I make Irish breakfast tea with a little cream...it is pretty good

That would be me. :rolleyes1

Panera, some people don't like coffee

Oh you should try to see if you can get a lunch or dinner at CP. The food is very good.

Ohhhh, just checked the lunch menu. I just may have to call.

Yup, just saw the lunch menu, sound delicious.

What about an early lunch? This is what myBob and I seem to do (since he's the Tigger fanatic) and we've had decent lunch food here. We did like it better than breakfast...

I don't mind the smell but I detest the taste....other than an occasional Mocha shake from Arby's.:confused3

I still haven't figured out how Jim & I (he can't even stand the smell) have a daughter who loves coffee.

Heidi - We have been to Crystal Palace for breakfast and dinner numerous times. It is really good! We're doing lunch this time because I couldn't get an ADR for the day we're going to MVMCP. We've never had lunch as our "big" meal so I am not sure I will like it. I'm sure it will be good, I am not sure I will want to eat a huge amount of food at 1:30 in the afternoon. I will probably eat a very small breakfast that morning.

Kristine - I imagine your logistics are trickier than mine since you have 6 people instead of just 3. Just trying to coordinate all that would make me tired! You guys will also have the concierge offerings to snack on so you probably won't be hungry for as many big meals.
At least if I am paying OOP I won't feel OBLIGATED to order an appetizer and dessert at every TS, and I will skip dessert at CS because most of it is nasty anyway!:rotfl2:

Yes on liking tea and I do like Irish breakfast. But even though I like tea, I only drink 1 cup a month.

I drink lots and lots of plain water. And maybe 1 can of diet soda a day.

do you like tea? sometimes I make Irish breakfast tea with a little cream...it is pretty good

Well the consensus is for me to try CP, so I will be making a call to Disney dinning.

Theresa, your daughter sounds like my sister and I. My dad loved coffee and my mom loves tea, though they would drink either. We both hate coffee and barely drink tea.

I don't mind the smell but I detest the taste....other than an occasional Mocha shake from Arby's.:confused3

I still haven't figured out how Jim & I (he can't even stand the smell) have a daughter who loves coffee.

My father always drank Taster's Choice instant coffee with 2 teaspoons of sugar. The only time my mother ever drank coffee was when we would drive from wherever we lived (like FL) to Kansas. My father was too cheap to stop at a hotel so we always drove straight through, no matter how long it took. I guess she wanted to stay awake in case he fell asleep.:scared:

Now my mother drinks brewed coffee every day. I'm not sure exactly where she picked up the habit. She drinks it black.

DH never drank coffee when we first met, but now we both drink several cups every morning. I guess that started maybe about 4 years ago when I started working for Brother & Sister. At the job I had before that my boss would make a pot every morning and there was always plenty left for me after she went to work. I also had a raging Starbucks habit during those years. ExDadboss drank some weird brand of coffee and he never made extra so DH and I started making a pot at home every day. I was welcome to make coffee at Brother & Sister's, but I usually didn't bother.

I drink my coffee with one teaspoon of sugar and a huge pour of half & half. No powdered creamer, no Coffee Mate liquid, no "fat free" - just 100% natural dairy half & half with all the fat.;)

Differently? How? Just curious.
