Tia - did you get your ornament?

I did! Thank you so much! It was waiting for me when we got home from Branson. I just hadn't been able to get on here and let you know.

For everyone else...I got a Sorcerer Mickey ornament. Terra loves that it has my name on it. I also got one of Tammi's wonderfully smelling Mickey hea applesauce ornaments. Thanks, Tammi!!

Janet - your check arrived right before we left. Thanks!

Jen,

Glad you are doing OK...:grouphug:

I'll be thinking of you today, Jen!

Well, my funk just lifted a bit. I have been having trouble driving my stick-shift. I love my Saturn but it was just getting harder and harder. Especially in heavy traffic. My leg goes numb and I was afraid of not being able to get home. So, I talked with Hal and he said to just get another car. So I applied for a loan, looked at two different places and finally decided to go back to my first love, Saturn.
I will pick up this week a Saturn Ion 3. It is a 2005 with only 13,000 miles. It is black with a tan to almost white leather interior. I love it. It even has a outside temp indicator and compass located on the rear view mirror. I am so excited :woohoo: :thumbsup2 :cool1: :dance3: :yay: :cheer2:

Yay for a new car!

Good morning,

Lots of errands to run here today. I finally printed out my pictures from August!!!! I got a good coupon from Walgreen's & couldn't pass it up. I had 649 pictures from the trip to Disney so I couldn't print them all...Just 150.:) I had buy 25 get 25 prints free. I like to have the prints to put in an album...its just different looking at them on the pc.

My Mickey Christmas watched stopped so I have to get a new battery except no stores around here seem to have it so I have to go searching. Also have to pick up one more Webkin for the kids stocking.

I went to the girl's parent teacher conference yesterday. Both got straight A+'s!!!!! I am so happy for them.
Now I guess I have to buy them something!:lmao:

Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!

I still haven't printed my August pics. I have an album to put them in, just haven't managed to print them!
Good luck witht he battery!
Yay for Katie and Sophie!! You should buy them those ADORABLE gift cards with Mickey and the Christmas tree!;)

For thoes of you calling for ADR's soon, hope you get what you want. :wizard:

We were finally ready to try Tony's this trip and they are closed.

Bummer. Now you'll have to plan another trip for when they are open!

Jennifer,

Great pictures. The girls are precious.

I agree -- great pictures and Virginia is growing so fast!

Hey guys-
Just checking in before I go to bed. The viewing is done-thankfully. So many people came and you could tell my grandfather was very loved. It was rough, of course. But everyone commented on the photo collage and seemed to love it. We had to say our final goodbyes as the casket will not be opened tomorrow.
We went out to dinner and drinks and now we are home. We have to get up pretty early so im headed to bed. Just wanted to let you all know im hanging in there.

have a great night
I'm so glad you had a good turnout and people liked your collage. Sending more PD and prayers for peace and comfort.

Terry, congrats on the Ionizer! It sounds really nice. I'm sure you will be a lot happier driving it.

Yes, congratulations!

Congrats on the teacher conference!

Denise -- I hope Rees is still getting better!

Yesterday, we fired one of our admin's at work -- we needed to (and she received an extremely generous severance package...not because she deserved it since her attitude has been bad lately, but because it's only a month until Christmas) but it's bad timing for all of our projects at work. I was editing a 60 page manual last night until after 11, then back up at 4:30. I'm too old for this!

Have a good day, DDA! :)

I'm going to Disney World in TWO WEEKS!!!:dance3:
:yay: :yay: :yay:
I am not jealous at all!::lmao:

Hope you can get someone else in there soon to help out.

Our "announcement", if you're interested....

It's on cardstock, printed the right direction (turned right-side up here so you can read it easier ;)), and pressed into a nicely folded card. I have one for my mom, dad and cassi so they can read it at the same time - even though it's all the same. :rotfl:

I'm a little behind, but I just  this! I hope the announcement went well!

Actually, we do have someone (a former admin) but she won't start for two weeks. I can hang in there until then, so it does help to know that help is on the way, albeit a little delayed.

Well thats good..you don't need the added stress, especially this time of year.

Thanks!

  Hopefully some things can wait for the new person to come on board. This time of year is stressful enough without added responsibilities.

It is just Colby and I this morning. Of course he has school later, but it is so quiet and I actually feel relaxed today :thumbsup2 I need to run errands while he is at school today, but nothing too hard. I need to check a few stores for the accessories and games that Santa needs to get. Chris and I will go out on Saturday to make the actual purchases, but since he hates to shop I want to know exactly where we are going. I have some coupons at Kmart that printed on previous receipts so hopefully we can find somethings there and Chris has some Best Buy cards so that will be another money saver. I still have a lot of decorating to do, for some reason I'm just not as in to it as I usually am. Of course the fact that it is freezing out may have something to do with it. My goal for this weekend is to get some wrapping done. I am committed to having everything done well in advance and I am trying to remain stress free this year

Congrats to Sophie and Katie. Wonderful grades!

For those of you feeling stressed, I hope life settles down for you a bit.

I ordered Nicholas a 21" Delsey suitcase from Dillards, but I had to pay an extra $10 for express shipping to make sure it's here in time. Thanks for the info Elizabeth.

I am glad you have someone coming on board, even if there will be a little lag time!

I hope he likes it! Technically the Delsey suitcases we have are DH's, and he loves them. We bought the blue one for DS but it works out better for me to use a gray one for him - don't know what brand it is. We identify most of our luggage by color and size.:rotfl2:

I need to drop off some donations at the church for Momboss, then I am meeting with our insurance agent to try to sort out our life insurance. (Which has nothing to do with the policy my other has that she refuses to turn over to us.) DH got turned down for group coverage through Frito so now I have to figure out something else that won't bankrupt us.

I have decided to take the easy way out and get gift certificates for the teachers this year. Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks or Panera?

I have decided to take the easy way out and get gift certificates for the teachers this year. Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks or Panera?

That is a REALLY hard decision! I personally love Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts. But if you aren't a Starbucks person (I have heard a rumor that those people exist) then maybe Panera would be better. As far as variety I think Panera has more choices.

Panera gets my vote. But I am not a coffee person. We love being able to go to Panera and gettting the bagels for breakfast and soup for lunch (in the yummy bread bowl)

We are trying LTT this trip. We have not tried CP yet.
Not sure if I would get an ADR this close to the trip.

How is the breakfast at CP, if I could get an ADR there? I should add,
we are not really breakfast people. I am happy with cold cereal and
John skips it all week.

Oh that stinks!! Have you been to all the TS in MK? LTT & CP are great.
