If you wanted to book an Illuminations cruise for your family let me know...I could try have the IPO people do it if you want..in case you can't get one on you own.

we are doing a wishes cruise on the 4th for Kirsten's bday...then I think I will take a break from cruises for a while :)

Cool. I'll let you know.

Well, my funk just lifted a bit. I have been having trouble driving my stick-shift. I love my Saturn but it was just getting harder and harder. Especially in heavy traffic. My leg goes numb and I was afraid of not being able to get home. So, I talked with Hal and he said to just get another car. So I applied for a loan, looked at two different places and finally decided to go back to my first love, Saturn.
I will pick up this week a Saturn Ion 3. It is a 2005 with only 13,000 miles. It is black with a tan to almost white leather interior. I love it. It even has a outside temp indicator and compass located on the rear view mirror. I am so excited :woohoo: :thumbsup2 :cool1: :dance3: :yay: :cheer2:

:cool1: :cool1: Black with a pearl interior...I wonder what you could name it :rotfl2:

ETA: Since Elizabeth already has the Black Pearl and Stephanie has Miss Blueberry I think you need the minnie pearl

Elin - I meant to PM you and let you know that my fears were unfounded, no problems at all.

I could use a little PD myself, nothing serious, I just find myself in a funk right now and don't know how to shake it. It is also unfairly bringing my family down as I am not the most pleasant person to be around right now.

I am glad things went well, Debbie! As for your funk... Is it anything you can do something about? Or is it the result of others' actions that you cannot control? I hpe it is something you can work on, for your sake as well as that of your family. :goodvibes

I have a question about my signature, can you see "Season's Greetings" under the snow globe? I can see it on Firefox but not on IE.

I can see it here on AOL

I can so relate. I am feeling down too but it is just because I would love to see the Castle all lit up. :sad1:

This is just a bad time of the year. We all get a little stressed out because we want the holidays to be so perfect and I know that I will not be spending as much on my family this year and I am trying to come up with a few ideas to spread the money out a little more. At least since my kids are grown up, they understand but I just worry too much about it.

I can relate to that feeling too, Terry. Let's hop on a plane and go see the castle! Nah.... won't work this year... so let's make it the best Christmas we can and come up with something new and exciting to do with our "kids!"

Have you tried the new restaurant in Italy?

We enjoyed Spoodles & Flying Fish.

What about Jiko?

How about the tea at the GF?? We LOVED it!

Or Artist Point at WL. You have to see WL at Christmas.

Citricos or Narcoosee's?

We ate at both Artist Point and Jiko in October. We were very disappointed in Artist Point this trip. The food was less than outstanding and the service was marginal, at best. Jiko, on the other hand, may now be our favorite WDW restaurant! I don't know if it is because Brian Piasecki (formerly at Le Cellier) is now the chef here or not, but everything about our evening was top-notch! Bob and I both recommend it highly!

Since my present car is called The Black Knight, I am going to call this one The New Black Knight. Or the Black Ionizer:rotfl:

Jennifer - the Santa pictures with the girls are just super!

Congrats on the new car... the MinniePearl! The Saturn Ion is one that Bob and I have been looking at lately, and it sounds like you got a great deal, Terry!

Caught up and so tired... g'night, friends!

Vicki-I'm another one who enjoys Kona. Its not a resort but we all really loved our meal at Raglan Road.

Hunter's Nintendo DS cracked at the hindges a couple of days ago. I called to get it covered under the warranty, but it turns out that I purchased it on 11/16/06 and we had just missed the 1 year warranty. Today as I was sorting through misc receipts I found the receipt...attached to an extended warranty that I had forgot that I bought :cool1: I called and filed a claim. We need to mail the DS to the company and they will send him a gift card to buy a new one. For once a waranty paid off :goodvibes
I'm a bit surprised that Nintendo didn't do anything for you since you were only a few days past the 1 year mark. I had problems with Joe's battery not recharging and they replaced it right away. I hadn't even found my reciept but they must have know from the serial number that it was less than a year old. Glad you found the warranty info!

I am trying to figure out ADR's myself for June...we are staying at AKL concierge...and the 180 mark opens in just a few days. I think we will not do the dining plan this trip and just eat less table service...
:scared1: shhhh....don't tell Elizabeth that I haven't even thought about ADR's for my trip with Emma in May. She is my super pickey eater (and getting worse every day :confused3 ) so I think we may just do Sci Fi (her favorite) and CP for breakfast (my favorite).

The girls with Santa
So cute!

Has anyone tried 1900 Park fare since the rehab? I have that on our list for April but not sure if I should change. Right now I do not know what park we will be at on that day.
I had breakfast there in November and thought it was just OK. The physical space of the buffet seemed a lot smaller. I like CP better for breakfast. I think I like Boma better for breakfast but it has been a while since I've gone to that one. I'm trying Cape May for breakfast for the first time with Joe in January.

Oh, and has everyone seen that "holiday" pricing for food is in effect from like May 25 - JULY 5? Meaning the entire period between Memorial Day and July 4th is ALL holiday at select TS places!:scared1:
That seems to hit non DDP guest (ie AP holders) the most.

Hey guys-
Just checking in before I go to bed. The viewing is done-thankfully. So many people came and you could tell my grandfather was very loved. It was rough, of course. But everyone commented on the photo collage and seemed to love it. We had to say our final goodbyes as the casket will not be opened tomorrow.
We went out to dinner and drinks and now we are home. We have to get up pretty early so im headed to bed. Just wanted to let you all know im hanging in there.

have a great night

Congratulations! I had to give up my standard years ago due to shoulder problems.

Kristine-I am so glad to see you posting so much!!!:goodvibes

Jennifer-the girls are adorable..so glad you have a "real" Santa.:goodvibes

Jen-I am glad the viewing went well. I will be thinking of you tomorrow morning.

Karen-I will be thinking of you in the morning also:wizard: that your surgery goes smoothly.

Terry-Congrats on the new car...our new one hasn't been named yet. We figure the name will come along.

We went to the most amazing concert tonight. The Takayama High students are TALENTED. We heard the theme from The Incredibles twice. They not only play well but are great showmen too. Our student danced, sang and played her flute...she was so cute. :goodvibes They also played Supercallifragilisticexpealidocious...it was a Disney night.

They also played "Flight of the Bumblebee". I've heard it on recordings but never in person...A mazing:goodvibes

Our kids were awesome also...but I knew that already.

Tom, I just checked out your ebay stuff. Oh my goodness, you are so talented! Absolutely beautiful!
Thanks!

My latest creation!
