ETA: SHE'S BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I am happy she is happy with it!
Which reminds me...
Glynis- Lucy received her package today and I am so bad that I can't remember which kid it's fromI'm thinking Katie but I'm probably wrong!!
I love the ornament! I'm sure she will too once she realizes what an ornament isAnd we love the socks and bib and all the other goodies! I had those socks in my cart at Target and put them back, must've known she was gonna get them! Thanks so much

Yup. Katie picked it all out for Lucy. She was so thrilled to get to buy for a baby! Hopefully, you can use the stuff.
Glynis, from all I've read Olive passed away in 2004.
Donny has been a correspondent on Entertainment Tonight through DWTS....he is so cute!!!
Sorry. I knew that. It's their aunt. Dad's sister that I was thinking of. She's kind of taken over Olive's role as Matriarch.
Talk about a brain warp.
Yuck!
Having brothers who don't have to share ANYTHING at home sounds very bizarre.
Emma should be home in the next couple of hours and I need to get myself to the grocery store. Not my idea of fun but necessary
I don't know when I'll be back on this weekend. But you all are in my thoughts.
and some
so you've got them.
Robyn - I am sorry that you had to work today!Yuck!
DS used to come to work with me every day when he was little, and he used to bring ONE toy each day. He actually still does that - he fixates on one toy and he carries it with him. They are always small toys - you wouldn't even know he has it until he pulls it out of his pocket. Now it is usually a baseball card instead of an actual toy. I never made him share his "special" toy because he had to go into a house every day where NOTHING belonged to him. The boys would take turns with most toys marked by a kitchen timer, and if that didn't work I would put the toy up and nobody could play with it. There was plenty of stuff - no need to fight over one thing and everybody be miserable from it. I would tell your little friend that he can bring ONE toy each day that he doesn't have to share. Either that or tell him he can't play with the girls' toys unless he shares his!Having brothers who don't have to share ANYTHING at home sounds very bizarre.
Brother & Sister used to fight over things but I tried to help them work it out. If they couldn't agree I would allow the rightful owner of the toy to go play with it in his/her room. It was usually Sister who had something and wanted to keep it for herself. Brother didn't always really want to play with it himself, he just liked to torment her.![]()

Thanks! The only thing that is sacred in here are blankets or stuffed animals for naps. But everything else is fair game. And they all know that! Molly and Emma have their toys in the playroom that are theirs but the boys don't go downstairs. But all the toys in our living room are daycare and are meant to be shared. The not sharing at home thing boggles my mind. I think it's easier for their parents to yell at the kids and tell them to not play with each other's stuff than to actually teach them to share. Ty will literally stalk Molly or Hayden for a toy. The minute they stop touching he swoops in and tries to snatch it. No sir! He has absolutely no initiative to get something of his own and start playing with- just wants what everyone else has![]()

Little tart-like things. The crust is made out of butter, cream cheese, flour and vanilla. Put into mini muffin pans. Then the filling is an egg, brown sugar, vanilla and chopped pecans. Yummy.Ok, what are Pecan Cups?
Well I just won two tickets for "Tony & Tina's Wedding" has anybody been to this show???
I just told Jimmy "Merry Christmas!"![]()
Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Good luck!Things have been helter skelter here all day.
The boys have been in foul moods which of course puts me in one. They are so unhappy for little kids and it sometimes just makes the day unbearable. We are having major issues with sharing with Ty, the 3yr old. I found out from Eric that at home he has his toys and Hayden has his and they aren't allowed to play with each other's toys. I find this ridiculous. They are 20 months apart. And they share a bedroom, they live in the basement of their grandparents house so space is pretty much non existent. So Ty brings his toys here and has a problem when I make him share. I have made it clear that he needs to leave them home or be prepared to share them once he walks in the door. He doesn't like it and spends a good amount of time in the time out chair. I am very thankful for a 4 day weekend![]()

Oh! He won't share the toys that belong to YOU, either? That's a whole other issue! I could see him not wanting to share a toy he brought with him, but if he won't share the things that don't belong to him then that is an even bigger problem. I really have a hard time with that "stalk and swoop" behavior in children. The child who is playing with the toy can't enjoy their turn with someone lurking over them the whole time!![]()

Never heard of it, but congratulations!

Sure! I'll invite Elin and Kim too!Yep, he shares nothing. We didn't have this problem before they spent the whole summer with dad so I'm hoping it won't last much longer. There are days, many days, that I stalk him![]()
Can I swing by for a few, they sound delish!
