:grouphug: princess: :scared: :coffee: :hourglass Nicholas wanted to post some smileys.....

She's good, but busy. She's real involved with the school now that her youngest is in kindergarten. I saw her Monday over at the school for their Thanksgiving Feast. Her parents are visiting and then she's trying to get ready for their wdw trip. They will be down there over Christmas. Janet, you should trip to hook up with her. :thumbsup2

When is she down there? Who all is going to be there between the 13th & 17th? Is it just Tammi & Elizabeth? I know that Kristine has a grand gathering event scheduled for the 17th or 18th (wish we were still going to be there then as I'd take her up on two of the openings she has).

Isn't there a restaurant where you go and it is like dinner theater, only you are a wedding guest? But I thought that was in New York.:confused3

it's the travelling company of this. 2 tickets were valued at $150 so I am happy to try it.

Here ya go Janet.

PECAN GEMS

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 c. flour

Cream butter and cheese blend in flour. Chill about 1 hour. Shape into 24 balls place in tiny ungreased muffin tins. Press dough on bottom and sides of cups.

FILLING:

1 lg. egg
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. soft butter
2/3 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Beat together eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla until smooth. Divide half the pecans among pastry lined cups. Add egg mix. And then top with remainder of pecans.

Bake 15 minutes or until filling is set. Cool and remove from pans.
Yep, that's it. The only difference is I don't put butter in the filling. Mine calls for a tsp of vanilla.

We went to see Enchanted. I liked it alot & so did the kids. Dana wasn't as thrilled as we were. Giselle is a nice addition to the Disney Princesses. There was one part (no spoilers here) that some people show up in the movie & if you don't already know who they are you would not even know it...Sorry sounds criptic but I don't want to ruin anything for anyone who is going to see it. Anyway fun movie!!!

Sorry, I'd rather have Prince Edward over Robert (Dempsey)

me too...just based on the actors.

Well what do you know, I post about it & the papers are here now. Beings it is so late I am going to take the boys this time. I'm not very happy with our Register Mail at the moment

Oh did I mention that it is a mix of rain/snow outside :sad2:
:scared:  YUCK! Be careful.

Thanks for the review!!

Speaking of Dinner Theaters, our local one is doing a production of Beauty and the Beast. Bob got tickets for us to go Friday night! I really would like to take the kids but for all of us to go it would be around $200. I'm looking forward to it.

I saw this at our dinner theater a few years back. It was wonderful!

I was going to tell you to bring the margaritas with you, then I thought that they wouldn't go well with the cookies. But..........WHO CARES!:rotfl2:

We'll be too drunk to care if the cookies go with the drinks. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: The only thing I won't mix with a Margarita is a White Russian. Don't ask, long story ;) :rotfl:

Eric decided to brave the grocery store. He said it "shouldn't be too bad" I think it's his way of saying thank you. I finally caved and let him buy his Weber gas grill today. He is :yay:

Oh and he picked Emma up from his parents, so I get to see her in a bit :cheer2:

I don't know her exact dates, but it's not when I'm there and I do know she is there for Christmas day.

Gald you enjoyed it! I think we'll go one day next week. Might be a nice break for Terra in a day of shopping.

Give me either,  but I have not seen Enchanted yet but this movie to me sounds very, very similar to the 10th Kingdom. I have thought this since I first heard about Enchanted. 10th Kingdom was made as a miniseries but it is really a movie format but about 7 hours long.

It is very good it was on TV but it is about a father and daughter from the 10th Kingdom AKA current day New York city who follow a stray dog through a Magic Mirror, which is actually Snow White's Prince Wendell who was bewitched by the evil queen Wiest so she could rule the Kingdom.

They get stuck in the 9 other kingdoms that are getting ready for a Coronation for Prince Wendell to become King. Of course the trolls, elves and other creatures from all the kingdoms end up in each others kingdoms. The movie is a battle between good and evil to free Prince Wendell and bring the 10 Kingdoms to peace again. It is very good and I highly recommend it to all of you.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I hate the fact that it so expensive to take kids to the theater...it should affordable.

Enjoy yourself at the show....our dinner theater closed it's doors before they got to Beauty and the Beast

Anne Marie - I'm glad you enjoyed the movie. I can't wait to see it.

Ok the boys are still waiting for the papers to be dropped off so they can deliver them! I called them around 4pm & they said they were running 2 - 3 hours behind. I realize the BF ads are in them, but I really think they could be better prepared. It's not like they don't know about it

seems like some poor planning on their part.

Well I made my peanut butter pie. Whew, I gotta sit down!:lmao: That's all the cooking (actually its no bake) so thats all the mixing & pouring I am going to do for tonight..thank heaven for nice bakeries.

We are headed to my BIL's & we are bringing dessert.

Hope you all have a wonderful, safe, & happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you all for another year of friendship.

Sounds interesting, I'll have to check it out.

It is way too expensive. I love that Gail's nephew is in a community theater so we can see him and expose Emma to the theater. And we've seen a few local high school plays but it still adds up quickly!

Emma's home, chat with you all later!
