ETA: SHE'S BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, Theresa. I just had to.![]()
...I had seen that you got the milestone and cracked up.What kind of chair did he get Deb? It looks very child friendly. Can you tell me the make and brand? Also, do you have directions for the canopy? I don't sew. Would I be able to make it?

She's back and she is still stealthy!!!Ok, I'm off to make sweet potato casserole with marshmallows. The pumpkin pie just came out of the oven. Yummy. And, Theresa, thank for the compliment on the picture. Rees is in a HUGE Pooh phase again after the hospital (he still sleeps with his Pooh lovie), so I put it in there for him. It's such a happy picture.

Hunter loves Pooh too. He still has a Pooh room and lots of stuffies. I think he and Rees may have a lot in common.
I'm 5'5" and John is 6'0". How tall is Chris? Thanks for the info. Are you comparing it to the Macleran Major Special Needs stroller? We will start the process Monday. Rees has a rental wheelchair for now, but we need a permanent one. Our insurance will cover it, thank goodness. Thanks for the help!!!Hunter has a Convaid Cruiser. It is really nice. Our insurance covered it too. We went through a medical supply company and they did not recommend the MacLauren version as it isn't build to the same standards though it is about 1/2 the price. The only complaint comes from Chris, but may apply to you and your dh since I think you are both taller than me. The handles are about waist level on me so when Chris pushes he is bearing down on the handles instead of forward and it bothers his wrists. The difference this has made on our vacations is amazing. Because Colby has the same issues we will be getting him one soon too. I just haven't taken the steps to get the process started. Day to Day were ok, but a trip to the mall or a long walk just isn't doable without something. Colby is too heavy for his Mac now.
You can definitely make the canopy if you can sew a straight stitch. I will post some pictures of the pieces when things slow down. The only downfall we found is that we used copper pipe since it was the right size and easily attainable at Home Depot. We found that the copper stretches so the frame got pretty floppy by the end of our trip. I need to research other kinds of pipe to see what is lightweight and easy to work with.

Tia, that was an impressive recap!![]()
