DS and DH just came in from playing outside. I was brushing my teeth. DS asked me what I was doing and I told him I don't like eggnog. Turns out he doesn't like it, either! He wanted to taste it, so DH gave him some. I guess DH likes it.
Blech!
Chris like plain eggnog and the boys like the vanilla and the new sugar cookie egg nog. I must admit that the sugar cookie kind tastes much like sugar cookies.I'd say wait until you get home. Then maybe it will make leaving WDW a little less painful.![]()
i think thats what it is Tammi. After seeing this side of him today--in pain and violent...i just think he is suffering entirely too much. im hurting and sad but know it would be better if he isnt suffering
I hate this stuff near the holidays..in 1998 my aunt died from cancer on december 18 and we had the viewing and funeral the 21 and 22. Grandma is starting to realize this isnt going ot end well. overheard them saying they dont expect him to make it to thanaksgiving..so now we wait and see
Ok, I asked Chuck to see if I could be helpful. Here's his insight: If you want the kids to be distracted before you leave so they are out of your hair while you are getting ready to go, give it to them before. However, if you need them to be doing stuff, wait until you get back. Is that more helpful?![]()
Even if you give it to them early it will still be new enough to keep them interested when they return.Jen, what a great deal! Off to check it out now...
ETA: Hooray! I got a $48 sweater, a $28 scarf, a $18 lip gloss kit and an additional lip gloss -- all shipped -- for $21.22!Thanks, Jen!
I would say give it to them before.I told the boys they could choose 1 nice gift for Christmas beings going to Disney is part/most of their Christmas gift. They both wanted an XBox 360 Halo Edition. So I bite the bullet & bought the XBox Halo console, Halo 3 game & an extra controller. Besides some stocking stuffer they will get at Disney, this is it.
My question now is do I let them open this before we leave or wait till we return?

Jen - I am hemming and hawing on the VS deal. I can't decide if I really like the sweater, and I don't have ANY clothes from there - just bras & panties - so I am not sure of the fit.
just saw this on the budget board...if you like victoria's secret sweaters.... http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1640831
i got a 19.00 sweater, free 28.00 scarf, free lip gloss, free lipstick set or something and 5.00 off, plus shipping...evertying for 19.95
That is a good deal, I don't wear lipstick much though.

I'm beginning to think this whole Wii thing. Just don't know what to do.
I'm beginning to think this whole Wii thing. Just don't know what to do.
And I doubt I would be able to snag one anyway. I think DH wants a Wii. I don't think DS cares.
And for a little holiday spirit....

This elfin' greeting brought to you by OfficeMax®.
Loved everyones elfs! Too funny!Hope you find time to relax soon. Will you get a bit of a break between Thanksgiving & Christmas or does it stay crazy the whole season?Been busy working overtime at the bakery. Have to get all those TONS of rolls ready to ship for the big holiday!
Bernadette, the castle looks so BEAUTIFUL! I really wish we could go just to see that, even for a short trip, but it doesn't look promising.
I need to stop multi quoting!and in honor of our 10,000 page..
Happy Birthday to your "handfull" and Chris too.I'm off to bed. Tomorrow is Colby's birthday and Sunday is Chris's so I'll be busy this weekend. I made a trip to BJs today to restock the freezer since I have no idea what they will want for their birthday meals.

When I met Deb and the boys on the 4th of July Colby said "I'm this many" holding up four fingers. "And on my next birthday I'll be a handfull."![]()
I woke up at 11 PM feeling horrible. DS has his flu shot this AM but I am still trying to assess whether or not I feel up to driving. My head feels weird.
Hope you get rid of your head cold soon. Thanks for the link. I have an ADR with Joe here. Looks great!!!Tammi & Elizabeth, have you seen this review of the breakfast at Tusker House? I'm looking forward to enjoying it with you guys.

Congrats on the new car!I hope you all are doing well! Sorry to pop in and out, but this weekend is so busy! We had people over today for the big game (Hooray Bucks!) and then when they left, I was supposed to decorate for Christmas. Well, instead we bought a car.
I'm not sure when I'll get to decorate though, and it's completely throwing me in a panic. Mostly just for stupid reasons to pout.... "I NEVER decorate "so late" (close to Thanksgiving". Oh, well. A car is a nice consolation price I suppose
and it's a beauty!
Tomorrow, I'm singing at this big combined church service in the area, and then rushing from there to the Bengals game with Kyle. My poor husband, he's doing all of these things on about 2 hours of sleep at a time.![]()
Maybe I'll decorate tomorrow evening.......We'll see.
Have a great Sunday!
myBob and his dd just left. We had a fun day bowling and playing in the arcade. Then we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner. That's her favorite place. They brought her out an ice cream sundae and had the whole restaurant sing happy bday to her. She turned beet red. Then we came back to my house and opened presents. The kids and I got her the Hannah Montana Dance Along, and boy was that fun. The 4 of us were "rocking out the show" while myBob was a couch potato. I have some pictures that I will upload later. Then we had cake and ice cream and they left. I just got my kids into bed. Nicholas has come down with a head cold. He was up at 2AM this morning complaining that he couldn't breath. I gave him some decongestant, but it didn't last long. He was up again at 6:45, so he is one tired puppy. I hope he kicks it quick and that Alyssa and I don't get it.
Hope Nick gets over that quick and everyone else stays healthy-especially if you have to drive to your parents this weekend.Welcome home! It was so great to meet you! Wasn't the castle awesome!Hi Everyone,
We're Home!!!!
Meeting Bernadette was great, it was just like running into an old friend, and Lizzie is adorable.
I'm sure you've all already seen pictures, but the Dream lights on the castle are simply breathtaking,
