Heather--where have you been?!?! when are you coming to nj again?
Jen i'm so sorry this has been so crazy trying to get down there. My Grandmother's asking me the same thing. I called her yesterday to check in and she hung up on me so she's just as upset. I'm gonna try to get down this coming week, since i have a feeling the family's not coming here. I just have to check with butch which day is better for him, for me not to be around all day lol

Heather you can still do a ladder. I was on staging siding the outside of my brother's house when I was 33 weeks pregnant with Hunter. No problem, just be careful ;)

I have bags of trash in my living room. I have been purging everything. Stuff really gathers in entertainment centers over the years :rolleyes1 I will have everything reduced to a minimal amount then I'll get the 2 new cabinets and I'll have plenty of room to buy more :rotfl:
Gee thanks for getting me out of that one Deb lol. All I really have to do is get the ladder out and let butch see me start to climb, and he'll do the rest lol. He does not want me on anymore ladders while pregnant. I fell while i was pregnant with M&M and tiwsted my knee up pretty bad, i still have pain in it once in a while. I'm glad that you got your new TV and stand and are clearing out the old to bring in the new !! lol

That's easy. They always knew that we have been thinking of going south. So if we ever do, they will sell and move with us. :)
I'm glad to hear that you're mom and sister wouldn't give you a fight about it. Butch and I plan some day to move down to Florida, but his mom's giving us a fight about going with us. eventhough her sister's already been there for 23 years. ONE DAY we will have a Florida address!!

Whew! I'm finally all caught up! I'm feeling much better, except for a hacking cough that I can't get rid of. The doctor has me on cough medicine with codeine in it, so I get really sleepy, and end up napping quite a bit. I guess it's better than letting the cough settle into my lungs for a round of bronchitis!

I'm off to try to re-take the house. Strange how it all falls apart when Mom gets sick, huh?
Glynis, I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better! I hope the cough is gone in no time and just becareful with that cough medicine.. it can really throw you through a loop! Yes it's amazes me how much doesn't get done around the house when I'm sick. I hope the clean up isn't too bad.

Well, I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight. Tomorrow is the big day! Scott will be in to do the paperwork for my DVC. I talked to him today. He says I can book tomorrow as soon as he submits it. :woohoo: I'm off to dreamland. Hopefully, I'll have more time tomorrow to chat.
WOOHOO CONGRATS VICKI AND CHUCK! I can just imagine how excited you are about your DVC. Now get to booking !

Good morning. :)

Jennifer - I think you are hallucinating and must just need to go back to bed. ;)
I was thinking the same thing when i read that lol HAPPY BIRTHDAY PREGGO !! I hope you have a great day!

Ha ha ha. She was better after she slept another 45 minutes. And her parents do NOT tolerate behavior like that, which is good. I showed Momboss the bite mark on Princess's arm and told her about our afternoon. She was glad I put Princess back down for more nap!

I am really excited about "Enchanted". DS and I will see it next week. If DH is off he will come with us. Princess is still too young to sit through a movie, but I am off starting Tues. afternoon.

Ditto!

Old age AND pregnancy brain! Yikes!:scared: :rotfl2: Happy Birthday!!

Bernadette - I am glad you had a great trip!!:goodvibes The castle pic is amazing! I can't wait!! Tell Lizzy we love Everest, too!
It is hard to travel with other people. I am hoping being in different hotels will alleviate some of the issues we had with our friends last time. And only being there 3 days will give me less time to get irritated.;) I have a feeling they will probably get irritated with us trading pins, so we will need to agree early on that it is OK to split up and meet back.
I'm so glad Princess was a bit better after her extended nap. So glad that momboss backed you up on that. It's so hard to know for sure how a parent is going to take it when you tell them about their child's behavior. Some parents just don't want to believe it about their sweet angels :rolleyes1 I'm so excited about Enchanted. I can't wait to see it. but my luck I'll take the kids and neither will want to sit through it so we'll have to leave lol.

Denise, I hope all went well with Rees' surgery. Continued thoughts and prayers coming your way !

Marci and Becky, I hope things at work and in RL start to slow down a bit for you both.

ok i'm all caught up again and tomorrow's friday so you all know what that means lol .. i'll be left in the dust again come monday lol. Right now i'm off to argue with the insurance company. They're claiming RJ wasn't covered when he broke his leg. so i'm now getting bills from the hospital ER as well as the Ortho. I decided to ask if the rest of us are "still covered". There's no problem with M&M or Butch, but apparently I'm not covered either.. so i'll be getting a bill from my OB one of these days as well .. they're still not sure what happened to remove RJ and I from the plan but "they're working to get it resolved" uggghhh do they not know that stress and pregnant women don't go well together .. I'm thinking i'll give them a call today and if i don't hear what i want to hear tomorrow the water works will come on in a wave and if that doesn't work .. hormones will be unleashed lol .. Talk to you all soon. I hope everyone's feeling better blanket's of :wizard: :wizard: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Let's attribute it to old age... :rotfl:

Jennifer!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

and Happy Birthday Miss Jennifer!!!

Oops forgot (old age, right Elin?)

Welcome home Bernadette.

Elizabeth, I couldn't resist.

Glad to hear that princess took another nap, and that her mother backed you up.

Palkia is the ONLY one that he wants. I bought him a different one in October, one that he picked out over the phone and he is still stuck on Palkia. If you can't find it then He can look for it next summer. I know that the Pokemon area in the Japan Pavillion is the only place that would have it. The CMs in the store knew exactly what I was talking about, but they were just out of stock.
Ok, I'll look for it. Just remind me closer to our trip. :thumbsup2

Vicki - are you proud DVC owners yet????

And I know this doesn't compare in priority, but have you heard anything yet about the photopass CD?

Hey Elizabeth

milk!

milk!!

milk!!!

Milk!!!!

Milk!!!!!

Milk!!!!!!

MILK!!!!!!!
:rolleyes1
:lmao:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

He wants a stuffed Pokemon from the Japan Pavillion. This is what the character looks like, but he wants the stuffed version. They were totally sold out when we were there in October. I would greatly appreciate it. I can send money ahead if you like and you can have it mailed to us from there or however you would like to handle it. Otherwise he won't be getting it.

palkia_small.jpg

Deb, I will try to remember to look, too, as I'll be there a bit earlier than Tammi. I've never looked at Pokemon stuff, but I'll trust that the CM's will know what I'm looking for! I'll let you know if I find it.

Do you think Hunter's trying to test Santa Claus? ;)

I went to my book group tonight and it was the 2nd month in a row where I have felt like the odd man out. Last month was because I am so much younger then the rest, this month because I have a very strong opinion on education and have first hand experience in MT. Oh, I was so torqued at a couple of the ladies misconceptions about rural schools and a very uneducated statement about Mormonisn. I was glad I had an out of Jim coming and getting me at 8:30.

Today was another bad day at work....but this time my boss witnessed some of it first hand, the other part is something that has been festering for a bit and I will talk to him about it tomorrow (one of my coworkers is acting like he is my boss:headache: )

Sorry about the bad book club, and bad day at work. Hopefully your boss witnessing some of your stress will begin to realize where you're coming from. :wizard:

That is a breathtaking photo, Bernadette, and probably the best one I've seen (no surprise there ;) )! Admittedly, I always get a bit nervous when they start messing with the castle, but this really is spectacular. I can't wait to see it in 2 weeks! :yay: :yay:

Welcome home! So sorry about your problems with JB, as well as the slight aggravations with your friends. I agree, it's tough sometimes to travel with others - I'm hoping my family all gets along in a couple of weeks. Fortunately, we should have enough room to spread out between the 2 villas.

I hope both you and Lizzy get to feeling better soon! :wizard: :wizard:

Well, I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight. Tomorrow is the big day! Scott will be in to do the paperwork for my DVC. I talked to him today. He says I can book tomorrow as soon as he submits it. :woohoo: I'm off to dreamland. Hopefully, I'll have more time tomorrow to chat.

So, are you owners yet?!?!?! :woohoo:

Becky - I hope you find a way to fit a quick WDW trip into your schedule. I would LOVE to find a way too. The castle pictures I have seen the past few days took my breath away.

You both should definitely try. I think I'm getting to the point where some sort of trip to WDW will be necessary during the holidays!

Are you terribly busy at work? Doesn't seem like you're around as much lately. to you!

Denise -- sending prayers for the surgery today. :wizard:

Here's some more for everyone else! :wizard:

Soccer for both kids for tonight, and I need to work on Andrew's birthday invitations.

I'm in full panic mode with all the Christmas projects at work, plus my own. My new motto is one thing at a time!

Have a good day, DDA!

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: to get it all done, Marci!!!

And Denise, been praying for Rees this morning - I hope the surgery is successful!

Latest on Rees:

November 15, 2007 at 12:25 PM EST
Rees is out of surgery and back in the room. Dr. Wulkan did not find anything else wrong, which he was a little surprised about. He had been hoping (and so were we) that there was another reason for the blockage. So, all the problems are due to excessive swelling of the Esophagus. Rees now has a Mic-Key button (appropriate for this house of Disney lovers!). He can have nothing by mouth for 24 hours and is on the TPN (IV feeds). They have a bag attached to the g-tube to drain any excess stomach contents until then. He is getting pain meds (is doing great!) around the clock. Dr. Wulkan said they would start tube feeds tomorrow, and we should be here about 2 more days after that. We are very hopeful we'll be home on Sunday. Our only concern is the first time Rees had a feeding tube (at 11 months) he couldn't tolerate the feeds. He was in Scottish Rite for almost 3 additional weeks trying to find the right combination of food and rate. Please pray it is an easy transition this time.

Thank you all so much for the support you have shown our family over the past few weeks. We truly have so very much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. We can't wait to get Rees home and enjoy the holiday season!

yeah ouch, i got smacked right in the face with that one Jennifer lol.

I forgot earlier,:welcome: home Bernadette. Your picture was beautiful. I was watching the video Tia posted earlier and i got goose bumps as the "ice" was formaing all over the castle. I'm glad you girls had a good time ( for the most part) and I hope you're both feeling better fast.

I remember probably about 100 pages back or so ..... someone had posted the address for walter reed hospital, but then said that the hospital wasn't participating in passing the cards forward. but wasn't there another address to send cards to? my MIL just sent the walter reed address and i'd like to give her an address that will at least get the cards to who they're ment for. if anyone can give me a heads up on this i'd be greatful . TIA

Are you terribly busy at work? Doesn't seem like you're around as much lately. to you!

I am finding it difficult to deal with not being there for the first time in 12 Christmases, frankly! I wish there was a way to work out a trip, even if it was just for me to go there for 24 hours, but it doesn't seem to be in the cards, both time-wise and financially right now. Kristin has reached that point in her studies and future planning where we have items like head shots (and the printing thereof) and travel for auditions and conventions and things like that. All of these are very expensive and I know that our money is best spent there and not in viewing the castle. ;)

As for not being here... I am reading along, but yes, I am busy at work. Getting Patrick ready to head to the NAMM Show in Anaheim in January is taking more time than I thought it would and my normal, day-to-day workload has increased because we are losing one of our staff members. I am absorbing quite a few of her students which means my lovely classes of 6-7 kids are now bursting at the seams with 9-10. More money in my pocket with every paycheck, but more work involved in that many students too. Holiday Open House last weekend and the Jazz Festival at the University this Saturday means no days off for over two weeks.

I am celebrating by going to Richmond Sunday morning to meet the girls for brunch and bead shopping at a phenomenal store! Then Kathrin and I are headed to see a first-rate touring company performance of "Cats" at the historic Landmark Theater.

And then I am looking forward to having both the girls home for Thanksgiving, so there is an end in sight... I think! Thanks for asking, Lindsay. :goodvibes

Well it seems that I forgot poor Lindsay, sorry.

Seems that when I retyped my contact list, I left her off.

So if anyone snowballs ya Lindsay, you can throw it at me for forgetting you. :)
