Yes & seeing all the Christmas stuff out is making me so anxious, I can't wait :yay:

You are going to adore it, Janet! There is something so special about WDW at the holidays. :cloud9:

Chanon this picture is for you

Mia is growing so much!

Okay, I am so not a cat person, but that picture is adorable! :goodvibes

Scott is unavailable until Thursday. We are buying 250 points. As soon as Scott is back, I'll have him get the paperwork started. When can I make my first reservations? He said it takes 7-10 days for the paperwork. We're putting the downpayment on our Disney Visa card. When does that happen? I'll be making reservations for December at the first possible opportunity that I'm allowed.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

We'll be "welcoming" you home before you know it! :thumbsup2

I just called out of work for tomorrow--hate using a sick day, but guess its worth it...i just took my meds and am headed to bed..have a great night

Jen - I hope you're feeling better today, and that the extra time to rest gets you over the hump!

I must say that a year ago my one sister had to put her dog down. She just brought home a rescue yesterday. A Chug. Part Chihuahua and Pug and she named her Dora. She is just the cutest thing and already is making her place in Debi's heart. I am so happy for her because that was the hardest thing she had to do.

That is wonderful, Terry. I hope she and Dora bond quickly. I just love dogs.

We are having a cool front come through here today -- we'll drop to the mid-60s. :rotfl: It's been quiet warm the last few days so I'm glad.

Yes, they keep talking about it like it's some huge deal that we're about to get to our "normal" high temps, instead of almost 20 degrees above! Don't call it a cold front until there's frost on the ground! ;)

We had a great time at the zoo yesterday. The kids got along soo well! Terra and Danae talked and played constantly. Then when they both started getting tired, Terra would hold Danae in her lap in the stroller. I was pretty impressed considering my oft anti-social daughter. Michael looked great and seemed to have a good time. Until he started getting a little tired and sore at the end you'd never guess he just had surgery a few days ago.

Sounds like a great time, Tia!

(And thanks again for the cards - my nieces' albums are now officially DONE!)

Hunter's conference went pretty well. He got all A's with the exception of a B- in Science. Grade wise this is his worst report card ever. His teacher says that he is doing fine and is ahead of the class in most areas. He had a hard time in science as he couldn't get one concept and it resulted in two zero grades which dropped his overall grade a lot. She thinks that his mind has matured quite enough to grasp the concept yet and doesn't think there is anything that he could have done differently. She is sure that the next concept is something that he will totally get and his grade will improve. She also doesn't believe in pushing kids to get all A's as "nobody knows everything" blah blah blah. There are a couple of little things that he needs to work on like not forgetting things at home and making corrections without constant probing, but overall a good conference.

Colby is watching Meet the Robinson's for the 5th time. Did you all notice Space Mountain in the movie? Chris missed it the first time and had to rewind to see what I was talking about :rotfl: The sign in front of it says Todayland :lmao:

WTG, Hunter!

And yes, I do remember that scene from MtR and chuckling. :goodvibes

Does anyone know where I can order the miniature Magic Kingdom buildings?

Do you mean the ones that are holiday-themed?

I think those are exclusively sold at the resort, so you'd have to go through the Mail Order Dept.

Here's the contact info.:
Phone: 407-363-6200
Fax: 407-352-6369
e-mail: wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com

Just popping in to say hi. I really appreciate all your support during this rought time. You are wonderful women (and one great guy!)

Hi, Denise! Lots of hugs, prayers, and PD today! Glad that the rest of your family is feeling better, too, and that your mom is there to help. I'm sure you're glad to have all the support right now.

That's easy. They always knew that we have been thinking of going south. So if we ever do, they will sell and move with us. :)

And Miss Heidi, how do you explain that to your mother and sister who've just moved in across the street ? :P

Glynis, gald to hear you are feeling better. :wizard: that the hacking cough goes away sooner rather then later.

Does anyone have a camera similar to the ones below (I don't have model numbers as they weren't available on my dad's company site)? If not, which brand would you lean towards. My dad is looking to get a new one as his big-ol Kodak we bought him 6-7 years ago is about dead. Thanks!!

I had (still have) a Canon PowerShot A85. It is 4.0 mp with a 3x optical zoom. That camera takes beautiful photos. I've moved on to the Canon S3-IS. My first (and only) SLR was a Canon. I have always liked the Canons, though I have no real knowledge of the others.

Here are a couple of photos that I already have in my Photobucket account that were taken with the A85.

These are low-light, no flash (hand-held) which is difficult for these types of cameras.

Oh, my! Princess is having an interesting afternoon. She napped for an hour at school, but apparently that wasn't enough! She came home and immediately demanded milk. Milk! MILK! MILK!!! It got louder and louder until the cup was in her hands.

She finished the milk and decided to throw her crayons on the floor one at a time. We got them picked up and she brought me some toys that are in a zippered bag. She wanted me to unzip it. I showed her how to do it and asked her to try. No! Then she had a big fit. So I took her to her room to put her in bed. While I was changing her she BIT her arm! She does that when she gets angry. I put her in bed anyway. She was screaming but now she is just talking. I don't think she is going back to sleep. Whether she goes back to sleep or not, she definitely needed a cooling-off period!

She is supposed to have play group in 20 minutes but I am not sure I want to take her out! Her behavior is not appropriate for play group, and the mom who is hosting is somebody we have never met before.

Vicki,
Congrats on DVC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tammi,
Wow, 3 hours between posts!

Elizabeth,
Yea, sounds like a rough day with princess.

It was very slow at work today..I don't like when its too slow since the time drags by. I can only straighten the merchandise so much. It got busy when i was about to leave! I was looking at the Giselle stuff from Enchanted, maybe going to get some things for Sophie for Christmas. I am looking forward to that movie.

I received my ornament package today, thank you Becky.

She sent a gold Mickey head that has gold glitter around it.
A small metal pail with Mickey and Minnie and the castle on it. And a Winnie the Pooh blown glass ornament.

I just got home had to go up to work and sign some papers at work. Then I went to walmart and found Olivia some shoes to go with her Christmas dress. Sometime in the next couple of weeks we will go do Christmas pictures.

Hey Elizabeth

:lmao:

Seriously though, I hope she is in a better mood now.

Hi everyone, just got home from the podiatrist to get fitted for inserts for my shoes. I have to wait four weeks to get them. I just hope they end up helping. Do not want to even consider surgery.

I think they will help a lot. Hunter and Colby have molded inserts and they help a great deal. It does completely take the pain away, but it definitely cuts down on the occurances :thumbsup2

Work was still slow, but a bit better than Monday night. At least I opened today so I got home earlier.

I just got a glimpse of the kids Santa lists. Hunter has requested an item that is only available at Epcot. Would anyone heading to Disney soon, be willing to pick something up for me? I would greatly appreciate it.

My ornament exchanges are boxed & will be shipped tomorrow!

Tammi your lights will be shipped tomorrow.

Jen your shot glass is being shipped tomorrow.

Chanon your check is going in the mail tomorrow.

I think that is everything lol

Beth your camera takes great pictures!

Terry hope the inserts do the trick for you so you have no need for surgery :wizard:

So am I. It looks like it's really going to be good.
