Can I just take a moment to remind you that God still works miracles! After dozens of injections, lots of money, biopsies of places that shouldn't be poked with needles :rolleyes1 , etc....

I am definitely pregnant! :yay:

Of course, now I've joined the ranks of "normal" barely pregnant women who will worry for the next several weeks. But my beta today was great, if not high. :goodvibes We'll have a "head count" ultrasound in about 2 weeks! :rotfl:

I can't believe I'm talking about it this early, but I guess that's what happens when you have to go a bit less secretive route  Please continue to keep us in your prayers! We'll be a bit quiet about it for a while still, but are starting to get excited. For now, I'm mostly excited that my progesterone dose is being tapered. The wonders of medicated cycles.... I'll feel better pregnant than I did trying to get there!

Thanks again for all of your support!

Yay!!! Hope that good feeling keeps up! :goodvibes

Theresa- How did the meeting go?

Bernadette- I do sit down, a lot. But my mind and hands won't cooperate at all. I can crosstitch though.

Lindsay- I know each state is different but when Emma was in kindergarten we took her out for a week. It was unexcused but from what I understand the kindergarten attendance doesn't factor in to the overall picture. I think it has mostly to do with the funding a school gets from the "No Child Left Behind" act. My niece missed almost 2 months, mainly because my sister is an idiot, and nothing ever came of it legally. My girlfriend works for our county schools and she said that they really can't dictate when a family can and can't take vacation. Some parents because of their jobs can't go in the summer.

Elin- What a great school to check up on Kristin like that. Hope she is feeling better.

Tia - Feel better soon! Just the thought of 10 preschoolers in a house makes me break out in a cold sweat. I have now gotten an e-mail reminding me to bring my money for the play group Thanksgiving basket and advising me that I will be provided with a total for what I owe on the Christmas basket. I am not impressed, and I am NOT giving them any money! I like to choose my own charities!

Heather - Hello! :)

They are about half 1-ish yo and half 3-4. Luckily, all moms will be here too. Rachel has early release that day and is planning to do a craft with the older kids as well. (A little babysitting networking. ;) )

Jennifer - That is WONDERFUL!!!:cheer2: I am cautiously optimistic for you!:goodvibes I hope things continue to be stuck, and flourish over the next few weeks!
I took an EPT the day before TOM was supposed to start when we were trying to have DS. It was positive so I told EVERYBODY. Nothing wrong with being excited! My mother (and DH) told me I shouldn't say anything because something could go wrong, but if something HAD gone wrong I would have wanted the support of my friends so I didn't see any harm in telling people.:)

I have definitely always agreed with this. I don't care who knows in just a little while... but less than 5 weeks seems ENTIRELY too early!

Thank you again everyone for your congratulations and support. We really appreciate it! :goodvibes

I took Lucy into the dr.s this afternoon as she had another screaming fit. She has had one Saturday night, Sunday night and this afternoon. I would have chalked it up to her teeth but she was not gnawing on her hands at all during any of these fits. She screams and screams and then stops and then is fine- laughing and smiling. I was sure that by the time I got her in the office she wouldn't be crying and I would look like a total idiot. Well she was happy as can be. Though thankfully she did start back up again.

Her ears checked out fine, no fever, all her joints seem to be in place. She did say Lucy's bowels were overactive and would probably end up with diarrhea. So we are to put her on pedialyte. And if she starts throwing up we need to call her immediately. We think it may be a reaction to the Rotavirus vaccine. And apparently a serious side effect can be that their intestines get blocked. I sure hope not as this vaccine was totally optional. So I guess we just wait and see.

Any favorite characters?

There was a special section in the Boston Sunday Globe on the World Series win. I'll get those in the mail before I go away. We had our celebratory lunch today. We all get really nice World Series hats.

Her current favorites are Donald and Pluto.

Thank you so much for the papers! Just let me know how much I owe you after you pay for the postage and I'll send it your way.

WOOOHOOO!!!!!! YAY!!!! :dance3: :cool1:  Never fear, our prayers will continue throughout the pregnancy that all continues healthily and for a goto 35-40 weeks. Can't wait for the "head count" in a couple of weeks! Loads of :wizard:, crossed fingers and every other crossable appendage as well as continued prayers.

I figured I would wait until I got home to "talk" about my meeting. It went the way I expected...the 2 men who it was aimed at played dumb and told me they had felt the same way (used and abused):headache: These men asked me to call them on it when they do it.....I told them I won't do that in front of church members and I am a nonconfrontational type anyway. I feel better but not really willing to stay there forever.

I felt bad for the people it wasn't aimed at....but I don't feel bad for bringing it up.

Poor baby!!! I hope that it passes without much more than the screaming.

Bernadette - Nope, haven't figured out the Mac. I can make the display smaller and I can move it around but I can't get it to expand.:confused3
If you click and hold onto the bottom right hand corner of the window you can pull it bigger.

The top left hand of the page has a red dot to close the window, a yellow dot to hide the window and a green dot to expand the window.

Bernadette- I do sit down, a lot. But my mind and hands won't cooperate at all. I can crosstitch though.
If you can do crosstich you can make that hat. Lizzy art teacher has the kids make hats for a local homeless shelter. I figured if a 3rd grader could do it so could I. Of course I had someone cast it on for me.

 I'm glad that is over for you! I'm sure the folks it wasn't aimed at know it.

I didn't know the Rotovirus vaccine was back on the market. I really hope she feels better soon!:wizard:

Theresa - I hope the meeting was succesdful enough to make the rest of your time in this job more tolerable.

Bernadette - Yep, tried the green button and it only expands to maybe a third of the screen. Maybe Dadboss shouldn't have gotten such a big old monitor!:rotfl2:

Jennifer - I hope you don't feel sick during your first trimester! I started feeling sick at week 6 and wasn't better until week 14. How many embryos did they transfer?

Jennifer, when I saw you were the last person to post on the thread, I just had a feeling this would be the news.

THAT IS SO WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND KYLE! :cheer2: :woohoo: :cheer2: :woohoo: :cheer2: :woohoo:

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Now, just try to take it easy, and don't stress yourself out!

ditto :) congrats, congrats, congrats!

I always leave the kids I leave home a little "surprise". Joe asked me to make him a sodoku. So I just did the grids on my Mac and will use his Sodoku for Kids book as a guide. I bought some stickers to use instead of just numbers. I did some 4 x4 grids to make a few for Emma and did both 4 x6 and 9x9 grids for Joe. I did one of the 4x6 grids with the letters J O S E P H for him.;) I got some Cars folders to put them in. Maybe I'll print out a few coloring pages for them too.

I bought some cold medicine that required an ID tonight. I think I'll take some and go to bed. I took daytime cold medicine today but it made me all shakey.

I'm glad that you are feeling better about the situation. Good luck on figuring out your next step. :wizard:
