I had a crazy weekend. Am trying to relax now.

Work has been nuts with tons of issues, which I hope go away on there own. But I think they will not. People are irritated about things which are out of my control and not things I can change or fix. Some I can hopefully improve but the solutions are currently clear as mud.

Monday night I have a parent meeting. Wednesday I will be in Valley Forge for a meeting. Thursday I will be at the Pennsylvania Governor's Conference for Women in Philadelphia for work. Both nights I have a meeting.

My shoulders and back is killing me. I am not sure why, but it is not pleasant.

Sending prayers, :wizard: :grouphug:  to all of you.

I have been trying to figure out how to have a quick trip to WDW before the end of the year. Not sure if it will happen but it has definitely been in my thoughts.
Feel Better Becky! :goodvibes

need to vent

My dad is a hunter. He has always left his gun and/or bow in the truck. has never bothered to lock the truck when parked at their house. Well he goes out to go hunting this morning and somebody stole them from his truck, plus his briefcase, perscription sun glasses, and 36 dolllars he had in a cubby in the truck. from my brothers truck a grease gun and flash light, from my moms truck 15 dollars she had in a cubby

I am mad that this happened
That really sucks Jennifer. :headache:

Poor Nick... He brought his project in and that was fine. They had to type a report on the project and worked on it in class. He finished it and says he saved it several times, but it wouldn't print or save so he had to start over. This project is obviously some sort of test for him. I had him dictate it to me and typed it up for him so hopefully it is all set now. I need to head off to work. I suspect that I may be getting another urinary tract infection as I feel like I've got to go again. so far I can't see or smell any infection so maybe I'm wrong :confused3 I'm keeping my eyes open though because if I get another one I will need some tests run to see why I keep getting them. Fingers crossed that it is just an "off" day.

I sent questions to one of the ebay sellers that I won an auction from and still haven't heard back. I haven't paid yet as I need questions answered for some other items that I might purchase to save on shipping. Hopefully I'll have answers waiting for me after work tonight.
I sure hope you don't have another uti Deb. Stupid question, but you do drink a lot of water don't you?? That's what I was told mumble, mumble years ago when I had a lot of utis in a row. Now I drink 4 16 oz bottles of water a day.:goodvibes :goodvibes

Can I just take a moment to remind you that God still works miracles! After dozens of injections, lots of money, biopsies of places that shouldn't be poked with needles :rolleyes1 , etc....

I am definitely pregnant! :yay:

Of course, now I've joined the ranks of "normal" barely pregnant women who will worry for the next several weeks. But my beta today was great, if not high. :goodvibes We'll have a "head count" ultrasound in about 2 weeks! :rotfl:

I can't believe I'm talking about it this early, but I guess that's what happens when you have to go a bit less secretive route  Please continue to keep us in your prayers! We'll be a bit quiet about it for a while still, but are starting to get excited. For now, I'm mostly excited that my progesterone dose is being tapered. The wonders of medicated cycles.... I'll feel better pregnant than I did trying to get there!

Thanks again for all of your support!

OMG Jennifer, I'm so happy for you and Kyle!!!:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :yay: :yay:

I'm trying to drink more water. I tend to not drink water on a consistant basis, but I really am trying to drink more.

I took Lucy into the dr.s this afternoon as she had another screaming fit. She has had one Saturday night, Sunday night and this afternoon. I would have chalked it up to her teeth but she was not gnawing on her hands at all during any of these fits. She screams and screams and then stops and then is fine- laughing and smiling. I was sure that by the time I got her in the office she wouldn't be crying and I would look like a total idiot. Well she was happy as can be. Though thankfully she did start back up again.

Her ears checked out fine, no fever, all her joints seem to be in place. She did say Lucy's bowels were overactive and would probably end up with diarrhea. So we are to put her on pedialyte. And if she starts throwing up we need to call her immediately. We think it may be a reaction to the Rotavirus vaccine. And apparently a serious side effect can be that their intestines get blocked. I sure hope not as this vaccine was totally optional. So I guess we just wait and see.
 Lucy

I am exhausted. I worked half a day, came home and then headed to school for Alyssa's teacher conference. Then took both kids to the pediatrician. Nicholas had a physical and they both got their flu shots. Then back home for an hour and back to school for Nicholas' conference. Why couldn't I get them back to back? Anyway, quick dinner and clean up and then over to CCD. Now I'm home, both kids are in bed, and I will be soon. I have to get up at 4 AM! YUCK!

So the conferences went well. Both kids are in the upper part of their class, and Nicholas' teacher is going to have him start working with what we call the FOCUS (accelerated/gifted) teacher next month to see how he does with the program. I think it will be great to challenge him more, but I know that will mean more work for me in the long run. UGH. Oh well, we do it for our kids, right?
Good reports! :yay:

Guess what I'm playing with tonight in my motel room? :dance3: :dance3: :cloud9:

Yes, this is what we are going through with my granddaughter. She hates drinking water, but keeps getting uti. So I have the Crystal Light add ins. She likes the lemonade and the iced tea flavors. She'll shake that in her bottle of water and it makes it taste better. She just can't stomach a ton of plain water. The doctor sort of scared her though and told her if she didn't drink enough water, instead of utis she was going to have kidney problems. But she still hates the taste of water and we even have spring water delivered!

Well, I'm off to bed. I've spent enough money for tonight. I bought the Mickey Font & Mickey shape cartridges for my bug. I just had to have those. All I've scrapbooked so far is our Disney pictures and these will be helpful for continuing on those. There are so many more that I want to buy but I'll be good and put them on my Christmas list for my mom, girls, and Chuck to get for me. :cloud9:

Glynis- I KNEW I forgot something this morning....please tell Jacob congratulations on his baptism this weekend. That is quite a step in his faith. :goodvibes

I'm so sorry that she's having a reaction. I can tell you, though, it's better than the Rotovirus! Jacob came down with that when he was 11 months old. He threw up for 12 hours straight. Poor little guy. By the time we got him to the doctor, his veins had all collapsed, and they couldn't get an IV in. They tried in his arms, his hands, his feet, and his jugular. They finally did get one in, but it was awful. He was so listless and really "death" like. It scared me so badly! He was in the hospital for 5 days, and I don't think I slept the entire time he was there. Once he was released, and we got him home, his developmental skills had regressed severely. He couldn't walk anymore, couldn't even sit up on his own. He had to relearn how to do all those things.

Horrible memories!

Glynis- I KNEW I forgot something this morning....please tell Jacob congratulations on his baptism this weekend. That is quite a step in his faith. :goodvibes

Thanks. He's really excited about it. He's done a lot of studying and feels ready to take this step.

Good night, everyone! I got the kitchen cleaned top to bottom today. Tomorrow is the guest room and the playroom. Wish me luck!

Good morning.

I won't be back on until tonight, so I hope everyone has a great day.

Jennifer - I hope you don't feel sick during your first trimester! I started feeling sick at week 6 and wasn't better until week 14. How many embryos did they transfer?

Well, I'm already sick, sleeping so much I can't get anything done, etc. I'm hoping it will subside a bit now that the progesterone dose is lowered. It's really impossible to tell after being on all of these hormones what "pregnancy" symptoms I have, since I have all of them -- but so do people that don't end up pregnant! Ugh!

We transferred 2 beautiful ones... so we'll see!

Hooray for Nicholas and Alyssa for both doing so well! :goodvibes

Now get some rest! (Or, you know, I'm still doing a lot of that.... how did that work out for you the other day? If it helps, I'll just keep sleeping 10 hours a night and napping whenever I can. But don't forget I need a lot done here, whenever you can make it! ;))

Joann's often has there fleece at 50% off or better. I can easily do a 60" by 60" square for under $10.

:cool1: :cool1:   That is AWESOME !!!  :cool1: :cool1:

Thanks :) I'll definitely have to watch for sales or something... but we don't get a Joann's ad. I'll have to try and remember to look online. I pass one almost every day going from one office to the other, so it wouldn't be hard to pick up!

I'm trying to drink more water. I tend to not drink water on a consistant basis, but I really am trying to drink more.

You and me both, but it's hard isn't it?! I swear, I used to drink less than 1 glass of water per week. WEEK! My mom and Kyle would harass me about it, but my kidneys worked great and I didn't like it! :snooty: This year, though, I have been making a conscious effort to up my daily intake. I would say I drink about 32-48oz every .. other day or so. Sometimes only 3 days per week.

Now, I'm determined to get my whole 64 ounces in, which I have only done maybe 2 other times in my life aside from when I was dancing, running, etc and actually needed it.

Can I tell you, that I peed 11 times in the 6 hours I was at the center yesterday?! :rotfl: I remember that your body gets used to it, but it better soon! Otherwise people will start asking me if I'm pregnant or something! ;)

Really though, good for you! I'm so guilty of not staying hydrated, and I definitely know it's so important for so many body functions! Do you like the flavor packets (Propel, Crystal Light, etc)? That's the only way I can get it done!

Congratulations on your purchase! And think, now you have a great Christmas list as well! :thumbsup2
