We had a great time trick-or-treating! Poor Kevin was so misunderstood. Only a couple people realized he was Lumiere...one lady called him a crazy chicken!

:rotfl: Amy, I literally laughed out loud. Poor Kevin! I think you all looked fantastic... great job with the costumes!

I must know, though -- did you find someone to take a picture of the whole family, or did Kevin work his photoshop that quickly? :teeth:

Morning DDA!

I got a quote on flowers for the wedding yesterday. :scared: Centerpieces at $65 is a NO. But her prices for roses are awesome!! We talk to someone else this Saturday, so we'll see what prices then. If anyone want's to see her work www.rosesforweddings.com and she has just about every floral design she's ever made on this site.

Thank you everyone, for your chicken frying ways.

Tammi, congrats on the milestone. :cool1:

The news on my FIL is worse than we first heard. He has 3 blocked arteries and a bad valve. That has caused his kidney to have problems. They will have to do open heart surgery but can't now because of the kidneys. Chuck is heading over there tonight and the girls and I will head over tomorrow to see him.

Good morning all and happy friday!! it was rough getting out of bed this morning-i was just very comfortable!

have a great day all!

Amy, nice pictures. Kevin's face though is making me itchy. I can't wear costume make up, makes me break out.

Stephanie, not sure about the cheerleaders, some people say they are no trouble. But the year we went while they were there (stayed POFQ) I was ready to throw one off the back of the boat on the way back from DD.

We will be there Jan. 13-18, catching the end of the marathon and leaving Martin Luther weekend. :scared1:
Don't know what possessed(sp?) John to pick that time frame, but ya know its gonna be busy.

And you find the best wines!! :drinking1:

And the Marathon is the weekend of 11-13th. In other words, within the discount times. :rolleyes1

AndI think that is also MLK weekend, so no work that Monday....:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 Do I hear a Ding????

Good Morning all, and happy Friday.

Hope you all have a good day.

Tia because I know Jim and Phil are very similar-

Jim, who hasn't EVER wanted a supervisory position, had his half year review last Friday and was told that next year there will be a couple of supervisor positions opening up and he came home excited. The fact that he thinks he'll be there next year AND wants to move up in the company made me me do the happy :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: dance.

That is great new, Theresa!!!! I know just how exciting those two facts must be for you. I would be thrilled if we got to that point. :cheer2: :dance3:

I hope you get some sleep soon.

Maybe one of these nights! For once, Matthew didn't give me an early-morning wake-up call, but Alyssa had a 3 a.m. potty break (can't complain about that!).

However, I am making a doctor's appointment today, because I'm all stuffed up again. I thought I was having allergy issues with our varying temperatures, but it must be a sinus infection.

Amy and Bernadette -- LOVED the Halloween pictures.

Amy - Alyssa looks so totally different with dark hair. Wouldn't she make a gorgeous Snow White???? ::yes::

Thank you Elin. :goodvibes

This was probably our last Halloween of calling the shots with our theme, so she just may pick Snow White next year! ;)

Amy- I love the fact you go as a theme trick or treating...you have the cutest Lumiere I've ever seen:goodvibes ....and I would have probably guessed Kevin was a chicken too if all I saw was him.

Theresa, are you hitting on my husband or did you mean to say we had the cutest Cogsworth you've ever seen? :rotfl:

Amy love the pictures.

Thank you! I really enjoyed seeing all the pictures you posted, too. "Hook Em Horns" was my favorite!

Amy - your costumes were great. How did you ever get Alyssa to keep the wig on her head?

You know, it wasn't an issue! :confused3 In fact, she cried when I told her she couldn't sleep in it. I guess she's got her daddy's acting genes.

Matthew kept his hood on the whole time too, but he would peel off his clock (I had it attached with velcro) every chance he got. Little stinker!

Bernadette & Amy love the pictures from Halloween!

Thanks Janet! :goodvibes

:rotfl: Amy, I literally laughed out loud. Poor Kevin! I think you all looked fantastic... great job with the costumes!

I must know, though -- did you find someone to take a picture of the whole family, or did Kevin work his photoshop that quickly? :teeth:

Someone else called him a banana! :confused3

A neighbor took our family picture, but I wouldn't put it past Kevin to add some smiles to Alyssa's and Matthew's faces. :rotfl:

Amy, nice pictures. Kevin's face though is making me itchy. I can't wear costume make up, makes me break out.

Thanks! Kevin claims it didn't itch a bit. My family is weird...they like wigs and face paint.

Good morning DDA! Hope everyone has a good Friday and a relaxing weekend. We get an extra hour of sleep! :thumbsup2

Happy Friday DDA!

Sending lots of prayers to Rees and the Fig Family!

Love the pics posted yesterday!

Amy -- hope you are feeling better soon!

Busy weekend as usual -- soccer games, birthday parties and lots of shopping before the end of Partners card week. It's a card you can by for $60 and the money goes to the Family Place -- a shelter for battered women and their children. Tons of great stores in the Dallas area let people shop with the card and get 20% off. A lot of my Christmas shopping will be done this weekend, as well as trips to Stride Rite for shoes, the Gap for some winter things for the boys, etc.

I better get back to work so I can check in later on Rees.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I still need to catch up so someone may have already posted this, but it's a coupon for up to $5 off any Polly Pocket item. I know the person who posted it orginally on another board has used it several times, but just one per visit.
