Can you make cupcakes, but put them together as a "cake". I got a cupcake cake at Walmart last year for Stephanie's birthday.

Thanks Kelli!! I love that. My idea was to frost most of the cupcakes with white icing and then some with red. I was going to spell out "I Heart Troy" The red cupcakes would be in the shape of a heart. She is coming around to my idea. So we'll see.

I would love to ADD it but I am lucky that Dana ok'd August as it is.
The April cruise is so expensive!!!

Maybe we can go Thanksgiving 2009 & that will be our big trip for that year.
We have been at Christmas time before with the kids & I swore I wouldn't go in December ever again because I was too cold.
The best weather we ever had was early November. Just perfect, but I can't take the kids out for a week from school anymore.

It is looking like Monday will be the last really warm day in Orlando. If the temps trend the way they are predicting I will be freezing. Mid 60's during the day, 40's-50's at night. I thought it was cold last year, too, but I can't remember what the actual temps were.

I have to keep in mind that our APs are expiring 8/16 next year, so if we book anything for Oct, Nov, Dec, etc. we will have ticket costs on top of the rest of it.

Kelli - Those cupcake "cakes" are popular. The grocery store does several different designs. I got in touch with my cake lady for Princess's cake. We haven't ordered from her for several years because DS stopped having parties, but I was thrilled to hear that she still does cakes!

Thanks Elizabeth.

Heidi - I have your magnets. They are cute! My "cinnamon" scented hot pad is absolute crap. I am furious that I paid $5 for it. It looks like something you could get at the Dollar Store, and it does NOT smell like cinnamon. Oh, well. I guess the school gets some of the money. I'll PM you a total tomorrow after I know what the postage is.:)

Oooh, that's a great idea!!

So we are finally at Serenity Bay. Despite the fact that no Upgrades are available because Mickey's ship is full Serenity Bay is not that crowded.

I put sunscreen on and then went snorkeling for many, many hours. I do not have any underwater pictures I forgot my underwater camera so I have no pictures. I saw some sea stars, conch, lots of fish, stingrays, barracuda, zebra mussels, and other things I wasn't sure what they were.

I was snorkeling so long that by the time I go out and wanted to go get cookie dough ice cream, it was already cleaned up.

Do I have to walk back to the ship already??

Since I couldn't get ice cream I tried to get in a hammock

Instead of enjoying the hammock, I should have headed to find ice cream at Cookie's BBQ.

Runway back to the family beach, notice the dark storm clouds. We heard the thunder and saw the clouds but it was nice and sunny at Serenity Bay the whole time we were there

There was no ice cream at Cookies BBQ anymore either, well they were emptying it when I got there and wouldn't give me any. Good thing I have another week, as you can only get cookie dough ice cream on Castaway Cay anymore.

Heading back to our home away from home

Elin,

Yes it is closer to the center. It was weird when I test drove it, but now it is like I have always had it that way. It looks white during the day but darkens at night.

They also have it that when you drive at night, the rear view mirror slightly darkens, meaning like when you flip it yourself when the headlights behind are really bright. I love the outside temp guage and compass on it too.

Thanks for the personal viewpoint on it, Terry. We will continue to look at an "IONizer" then!

Stephanie,
Very well said. My uncle who raised me as his own & who was very dear to my heart died 5 weeks after Katie was born. It will be 12 years that he is gone this January. I was so happy to have a grandbaby for him but he never came out of his coma to see her alive. To this day when I think about him I start to tear up. I miss him every day. He did so much for me when I was a kid & I don't know where I would have ended up if it wasn't for him. He has my eternal gratitude, respect, & love. I just wish my kids got to meet him.

Anne Marie - What a lucky man your uncle was to have a such a loving "daughter." That was a wonderful tribute to him. :goodvibes

my kids all wanted a chocolate advent calendar this year...hopefully I can restrain Bill :rotfl2:

1 year, Christopher opened ALL of the doors right away...apparently the suspense was killing him:)

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have a favor to ask of all my DDA friends.
I have a couple of new listings on EvilBay, and if any of you could, please add them to your watch list.
Apparently the more watchers you have the more free exposure you have.:confused3 At least that is what I have been told.

I can't direct link it here, but you can search for it under my id name!

Thanks!

Done! very cute!

WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY TOMORROW!!!

Jen, I am so sorry about your Grandpa. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

YAY! cant wait to hear about your disney trip!

thanks for the thoughts and prayers!:

Jennifer, . I am so sorry about your grandfather's death. Please don't feel like you shouldn't be mourning or aren't allowed to talk about it. It is so hard to say goodbye to someone that you love and to know that they will not be physically in your life any more. I've been teary about my grandmother lately, and next month it will be 16 years since she died. There are days that I miss my aunt so strongly that I can barely stand it, and it has been almost 10 years.
Thanks Beth--You really made me feel better--i guess i have to let myself mourn instead of apologizing constantly!

Jen- Sending more:hug:'s your way. I agree with what Beth told you. One thing that helps me is that when I start to miss my grandparents I go back to things I did with them or things that remind me of them. They were big card players so I pull out their decks of cards and play solitaire. I can always picture them playing. Or I fix a slice of toast (it has to be Pepperidge Farm) and either dip in my coffee or top it with honey. That was a treat we had with them.
!

Thanks :goodvibes
Come on down and look me up! :rotfl:

I wish i could show up!

I wonder if Gray's is new tonight? Last week was "To be continued".
ooo i hope not! I forgot all about it--see what happens when football is on?!

so sad
